Chapter 16: 15 - First Song

Hearing Madison call, Sona woke up and went toward her, now returning to the serious expression she had. Some of the people around were a little disappointed as seeing her with a smile on her face was one of the best visions people had ever seen.

"Angela, the second band is about to finish performing, will you join after the fourth band, although they will perform for 45 minutes, is there anything you need to prepare before performing?" Madison asked worriedly.

"Actually, no, Mom, I'm just going to need a few minutes' rest before the presentation, as it'll be a little tiring to present." She said, since she had spent some of the energy she would need during the presentation making the attacks on Daphne and the men.

"So that's okay, Jeff said there's a room going into that door that you can use to focus on before the performance." Madison said with a loving smile as she pointed to a room.

Sona saw that one and nodded his head. Curious about what the performances would be like now, she returned to pay attention to the music she was playing. It was a quiet rock song, honestly, she liked this band a lot more than the first one, these people were a little more pa.s.sionate about the song and although they didn't have so much talent, they still gave the best in the presentation.

After hearing a few minutes of the presentation, Sona went to his room and checked to see if there was anyone. It was a small room that tried to simulate a dressing room, only using a very low budget. Not that she cared, Sona just locked the door so it wouldn't be interrupted and started cultivating to recharge the energy she had spent.

Quickly time pa.s.sed and Sona opened his eyes when the band that was playing said goodbye. When she got up from the couch she was sitting on and opened the door, what found her was Madison sitting in a chair next to the door with a serious look, making sure that no one got in the way of her own daughter.

"Mom, is it my turn yet?" Sona asked.

"Yes, Angela, the band has started to dismantle their equipment now and in five minutes you can get on stage." Madison said clearly excited.

The two of them talked and quickly the five minutes pa.s.sed. Jeff walked past them and called Sona to go on stage with him.

She took the box and Etwahl and went after him. Sona stopped shortly before entering the stage and began to feel his heart racing. She wanted to see the people happy to see her play, she wanted to see the people happy to see her play, she wanted to see the people happy to feel the feeling she conveyed by playing.

"Good evening, everyone, what did you think of the Dejavu Band?" Jeff asked with a smile.

The audience seeing him on stage responded with a positive scream.

"Well, if you liked the Dejavu Band, I think you'll like our next singer too. She, who came alone and almost hit me to just let me sing, made me think I definitely deserved the punch if I didn't even give her the chance." Jeff said with an embarra.s.sed smile on stage as the crowd laughed and looked forward to it.

"I'm gonna stop fooling around and call our new singer to the stage, welcome her with a round of applause, Angela Young!" He said as he turned around and delivered the mike to Sona.

When she picked up the microphone and showed up on stage, a lot of people got confused.

"She who's gonna sing alone?" A bearded man said.

"She sounds cute, but does she sing well?" A man who looked like a bear said he was worried.

"Don't tell me she's gonna sing some pop music, she doesn't look like a rocker..." Said a dubious woman.

"Hey, if she wants to sing just for me, I'll give her some tips." Said a big man who looked like a pig.

"At least after her the band GeekGetGets will sing, let's just let her sing the song and keep talking." Said a disinterested man.

Sona knew the bad comments would come when she showed up, since it was her first time here, but she would make them change the concept they had about her with their own skill.

With a serene voice, Sona took the microphone and said "Good night, I hope you enjoy my music."

People thought she would introduce herself and tell them more about her, but to their surprise, she just said that sentence and took a strange instrument from a box she was carrying and put up the tripod of the instrument.

"She's not gonna say anything?" Someone asked me weirdly.

"Jeff's pervert must have only put it on because she's pretty." He thought of an old man.

"I hope her presentation doesn't last too long." Another disinterested person said.

Sona didn't mind the other wave of comments and started using what she had learned in countless presentations.

She started off with a little more lively music to leave the audience in a good mood.

The people who were talking suddenly stopped and looked at the stage surprised, the little blue-haired girl was playing the strange instrument without singing anything, but inside them, it was as if everyone's heart was responding to her playing on that instrument in perfect sync. People started to feel excited when the girl started speeding up the rhythm. Along with the rhythm that had increased, people's hearts began to accelerate their beats at the same time.

Some people couldn't talk anymore and stopped to focus their attention completely on the music that was being played on stage.

Behind the strange golden instrument with blue strings, a beautiful girl played with a small smile forming in the corner of her little mouth that made the hearts of many men and women accelerate.

People started shaking their heads following the rhythm of the song, no one said or shouted anything in the hall, the only sound that stood out was the sound of Etwahl. For a few minutes, without anyone noticing, the problems that people had, whether financial, loving, or health problems, were all forgotten and everyone just enjoyed the moment.
