I stood up and took off my tattered dress revealing my corset. John blushed as he looked away.

"What the h.e.l.l are you doing Mila?"

I leaned in and looked at John. I smirked as I tore off another piece of my corset on the side exposing my side. Perfect. I then extended my hand and slapped the s.h.i.+ning stars out of John's right cheek. John looked back at me in shock as he held his red cheek. I then thought of some sad Adele songs as I felt tears fall down my cheeks.

Setting up the scene? Check. Confuse the h.e.l.l out of John? Check. Reveal my plan to the Marquis? In process.

I then pulled John's arm so that he stood up as I ran to the Marquis's office with John behind me. I didn't even knock this time. The Marquis looked at me in shock as his teacup shook in his hand. His smile turned thunderous as he a.s.sessed the situation. My clothes were torn. I had tears in my eyes. John was in shock and he only wore his blouse and slacks with a red mark on his cheek. This only spelled one thing. John has forcefully came on to me.

I ran to the Marquis in tears and sat on the sofa opposite to his.

"Marquis! I came here to apologize for my sinful behavior. Your son here has professed his love for me, so as a lonely woman I accepted it and allowed him to have his way with me last night. Please inflict a punishment on me!"

The Marquis glared at his older son. John opened his mouth and closed it as his fists trembled. This was the reaction that I wanted. Now to deliver the killing blow.

"What am I supposed to do Marquis? I have truly fallen in love with your son but at this state what will my father say? You have to help me out, please!"

The Marquis wiped the sweat from his forehead as he calmly said.

"Calm down my dear child. As for this situation I think that the best coats of action would be for the two of you to engage. This will protect your pride as well as that of my son. There should be no issue as you love him, am I right?"

I wiped away my tears and smiled. This plan was working way too well. G.o.d all of this manhwas have been too bad of an influence on me. John then said.

"Father don't believe her, she's lying! I have never even kissed the b.i.t.c.h!"

"Silence! I don't want to hear another word from you. The servants have told me that you didn't return to your quarters last night. So it seems like you were with Mila. I have never raised you in a way where you would not take responsibility. Even if you were drunk or blinded by your love you will marry this girl."

I smirked at John before smiling gently at the Marquis.

"I thank you for your kindness Marquis. I propose that we hold the engagement party in two days."

The Marquis spit his tea.

"Ttttwo days? But aren't you going to Avalon with Baron in two days?!"

I teared up once more and said.

"Love truly makes a woman blind Marquis. I plan to let my trip be delayed until after my engagement and hopeful marriage to your son. But as I have no experience in such things I would like to ask that you prepare the engagement party for me."

The Marquis nodded so much that I thought his head would pop off his neck.

"Don't worry my dear, your father in law will take care of everything. Just go to your room and clean up right now."

I curtsied and left the room. I placed my hand on John's shoulder and whispered.

"That's what you get for off mother f.u.c.ker. Or should I call you future husband?"

I giggled as I closed the door behind me. I hummed the song "Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande. Oh it felt good to be bad. Little did I know that my plan would come to backfire really soon.
