Josh and Ash followed me as I kicked his door open. Baron was face down on the floor with only his blouse and slacks. A feeling of extreme anxiety made my heart constrict. I quickly ran to his side and flipped him over. Baron was breathing heavily as his cheeks were flushed. His blouse was open revealing his stellar abs. I pinched my nose to avoid having a nosebleed at this time. Baron's golden hair was limp on his forehead. His body was covered in sweat. I touched his forehead. Holy s.h.i.+t! It was burning!

I turned to Josh and Ash.

"You two go bring me a barrel with cold water and a towel. Also don't let anyone come in here after that."

Josh and Ash winked as they left. I brought up my middle finger before sighing. This f.u.c.ker just had to get sick right now. I patted his head. Because of his usual confident demeanor, Baron seemed like he would be invincible. But to think that a common cold was doing this to him. I chuckled. He was human after all. Josh and Ash opened the door and gave me the barrel of water and a towel.

"Thanks you guys! Now go back to work!"

Josh and Ash moaned before turning to me.

"Have you ever heard of the legend of the feverish man Miss Mila?"

I looked at Josh and Ash in confusion as I wrung the water out of the towel and placed it on Baron's forehead.

Josh and Ash chuckled. Ash then said.

"Oh but Miss Mila it is a known legend, how could you not know it?"

"I don't know it Ash, stop criticizing me for not. Get on with it and recite the legend to me."

The twins looked at each other before Josh said.

"It is actually quite a simple legend. Men have stated for decades that once a Pirate gets a fever, it's not only his body that becomes in heat."

I felt like I knew where this was going but let me humor them.

"Oh so what is it that is also in heat Josh?"

"Many say that if a Pirate is truly in love with a woman then he would recite her name while he is in heat. Then he would reach over and do unimaginable things to her such as-"

Josh and Ash jumped as a bang filled the room. I blew the smoke from my pistol as a new hole appeared on the floor near Josh's foot.

"Never mind Miss Mila, me and Ash here will leave now. Take care!"

The twins ran out of the room. I blushed. This f.u.c.ker Baron is already a pervert so what is there to fear. I watched his calm face. His long eyelashes and soft lips would put a girl's to shame. It was as if G.o.d had created Baron with the formula for a perfect man. I caressed his cheek as pity filled me. I mean he isn't say my name yet so he must not love me.

For some reason that realization made my heart constrict. I sighed.

f.u.c.k! I can't believe it! How am I supposed to pick up Baron and put him on the bed? Those dumba.s.s twins! They remind me of tweedle dee and tweedle dum! I rolled up my sleeves and tried to pick up Baron from the center. I fell over immediately.

I cried out as my back cracked. Holy s.h.i.+t! I'm only 18 but I'm already going to have a dislocated spine! I bit my lip and sat by Baron's side. I looked at the bed. It's not that far of a distance. The bed wasn't that high off the ground anyways. Okay!

The best thing to do I pull him by the legs then sit on the bed and pull him up. I went next to his legs and started to drag him across the ground.

Holy s.h.i.+t! This man weighed a ton despite his lean figure! Are all tall people this heavy? I then set him next to the bed and sat down. I held my beating heart as I struggled to breathe. G.o.d above was I out of shape! If I return to the 21st century I need to start going to the gym. Baron moaned as his fever intensified. I walked over and put his towel in the cold water once more before returning it to his forehead. I then used the towel and Stratford to wipe his sweaty neck and chest. My nose had two napkins sticking out of the nostrils as my nose bled from this man's perfect body.

After wiping his chest I then managed to pull him onto the bed. I then proceeded to cover with the bedcovers. Baron finally stopped breathing heavily as his face calmed down. His fever had started to abate as well. I sat on the ground next to the bed as exhaustion filled me. s.h.i.+t I was completely done.

Suddenly a hand clasped mine. I turned to see Baron's green eyes look at me. I cried out in surprise.

"Mila?"

My heart went bdump as he looked at me with his flushed cheeks. His expression was so not fair.

"Mila, I'm burning please cool me down!"

The napkins which blocked my nostrils form bleeding popped out as rivers of blood flowed out of my nose. This was so not okay. This innocent little devil dressed as an angel was dangerous. Baron then set my hand on his cheek as he nuzzled it and kissed it. Tears were at the corners of his eyes as he said sadly.

"Mila please don't leave me. I'm all alone. Please don't tell me that you are also going to leave me like everyone else."

That's it. A trail of crimson leaked down my chin as my heart was struck with an arrow. Baron's green eyes sparkled as he looked at me. Oh my G.o.d. Oh my G.o.d. That's it I have to change my Instagram status from single to h.o.r.n.y.

I hugged Baron as he started to cry. My G.o.d. He was just like a little child. A perverted little child. I smacked his hand as he tried to undo the knots which closed my dress. He then whispered in my ear.

"Oh my dear wife is being quite inconsiderate to a sick poor man. Please do not push me away. I promise that I will recover if you comply to my request."

Baron suddenly pulled me on top of him as he smiled. I felt myself be pulled in by his green eyes. Lord those eyes could convince a person to do anything.

"Baron! You have to heal! Stop holding me, I don't want to get sick!"

Baron chuckled as he whispered into my ear.

"My dear I feel like I'm on fire, just touching your face cools me down. Won't you help me out by cooling me down?"

What was this mother f.u.c.ker implying?

"How do you want me to cool you down Baron? I can just do it with the towel and cold water."

Baron moved the hair from my ear as he whispered.

"Cool me down with your body."
