113 Note From Mila

"My name is Mila, and I am the protagonist of this story, Sleeping Next to the Pirate King. I and the crew here would love to thank you for all of the support and the current status of reaching 200k views."

"Who are you calling the protagonist?"

I turned to see my crew members tap their shoes on the deck of the s.h.i.+p impatiently. I s.h.i.+vered as I felt their malicious gazes. I chuckled nervously as I scratched my head.

"Hey guys, how's it going? The weather sure is beautiful today."

A particular human being spit at my feet as she glared.

"I'm only going to say it one more time. Who the f.u.c.k are you calling the protagonist?"

I blinked as I looked at Jacia sitting on a barrel wih a glare. A puff of smoke emitting from her cigar. Francois and Josh smoking next to her with matching glares.

Are these people actually f.u.c.king kidding me right now? I'm clearly the protagonist. For f.u.c.k's sake, I'm the one who died then came back to life not them.

"Jacia, dear, are you trying to say that you are the protagonist of this story?"

"Don't give me that bulls.h.i.+t Mila. Everyone is the protagonist of their own story."

I blinked.

Okay b.i.t.c.h. If everyone is the protagonist of their own story, then what's wrong with calling myself the protagonist of my own story????????

I sighed. It is no use. All the crew members are p.i.s.sed off at their low amount of screentime ever since the three trials arc. For days I've been on the receiving end of their wrath. Even your closest of friends can become the greatest enemies once jealousy takes over.

I looked at Baron and flinched. He was smiling, but I swear, that I could see daggers coming out of his emerald eyes. I looked down to see a pouting Lutious look up at me. My heart broke into a million pieces. Even my cute little child hates me.

"Anyways, my dear readers. I would like to address instead of my failure of a creator, the reasons for the recent delay. In the previous week, her college professors seem to have dumped on her a list of a.s.signements as she prepares for her finals. She has started to edit her work as well as write several chapters so that she can issue a mini-ma.s.s release. Two days ago, she went into a sugar coma, as she had overdosed on skittles. As a result, her writting lately has been skewed and extremely filled with fantasy. Please forgive her. Did I apologize well enough Sara?"

Sara (the author), looked at me and put up a thumbs-up as she continues to type on her laptop in her dorm room. A coffee stain apparent on the sleeve of her sweats.h.i.+rt. Yes, its f.u.c.king June but the author is freezing and wearing a sweats.h.i.+rt and sleeps with a fleece blanket as she lives in G.o.d d.a.m.ned Seattle.

"Anyways, stay tuned for a mini-ma.s.s release later today as the little author has stayed up last night on the brink of death writting them out, as her Psychology essay takes out the last remaining energy she has."

"Oh and by the way, the author wants to know if any of you want a bonus chapter of our chracters in modern-day society in a hypothetical situation. If so, please don't hesitate to comment so. Oh G.o.d, the author is stiffling her cries as she waves around an empty skittles bag. If possible, send your little author encouragement as she continues to write without her source of energy. Anyways, that is all the time we have today, but thank you all for the support and stay tuned for the more chapters and riddles! Will I survive? Of course I f.u.c.king will. At least plot armor is saving my a.s.s. Also stay safe, as I have heard from the author that in modern times COVID-19 is rampaging. Wear a mask if possibel and remember to wash your hands."

"Miss Mila, what is a mask?"

"Lutious dear, there are some things that I can not explain to you as it will ruin the course of time. Do you understand?"

Lutious shook his head as I patted his head. Some things are better untold.
