Chapter 65:Big Sis Laurier

Mother was carrying the younger brother twin, Basil, and gently soothing him. Judging by how frequently shes carrying him, it seems hes her favorite. Basil strangely enough is also attached to Mother, so hes in a good mood because hes being carried by her.

And right now, Im carrying the older sister twin, Mint. If I had to say, Mint seems to like being carried by me and Sasha better, and when Mother monopolizes Basil, she always looks for us to compete. Well, of course, Basil is my cute son, so we carry him and dote on him, too, but Mother alwaysreceivesa better reaction from him.

Basil sure loves his Grandma! or something like that. Well, Im glad to see theyre getting along, but Papas getting a little lonely over here

And, as we were talking like that, Laurier entered with a modest knock. She glanced at me first with a somewhat shining expression on her face, before turning towards Sasha and Mother with a big smile.

Yes! Father, can Laurier hug them, too?

Before replying, I thought about it for a bit. Can she lift them with her strength? Well, since shes grown a lot taller this past year, I think itll be fine? I suppose, in theworst-casescenario, I could just catch them, so I slowly passed Mint to Laurier.

Laurier seemed to lose her balance for a moment, but eventually managed to hold Mint with a big smile.

Oh dear, my two girls are too cute! Mint being carried by Laurier is acting so obedient, and Laurier looks so happy acting as the older sister. Theyre both so cute! Seeing Laurier act like this is quite a fresh experience.

As I was thinking about that, I suddenly felt a tug on my sleeve. Turning towards it, I found a slightly sulking Sasha. Is she feeling a little jealous of our daughters? If thats the case, then shes just too cute, too! With a smile, I said.

Both of them will grow up to be beautiful, just like Sasha.But,Sasha will always be my number one.

Even though we were getting a nice mood going, Mother poured cold water on it instantly. Probably on purpose.

Mother sure is enjoying carrying and playing with Basil. Im alittle worried hell grow up to be a Grandmas boy in the future Well, its good to get along, but with a personality like Mothers you know? But, in a sense, wouldnt it be a problem if he didnt get along with her since my personalitys similar? That said, well, since Basil has the potential for being doted on, it probably would have happened eventually.

Its a good thing to be loved, so I suppose theres no problem. Well, too much love might be a bad thing, though. If you dont like the person, them giving you affection would be nothing but an annoyance. While thinking about that and eagerly hoping hell grow up with a personality that likes people like me and Mother, I was enjoying seeing Laurier act like a Big Sister for the first time.
