VF 105 A Grandmothers Needless Worries

Ive thought of such possibilities myself and already made up my mind on how should I face it.

If Laurel falls to a man of common status rather than the prince, then Id wholeheartedly support her. The same goes for Mint too. But that is under the assumption that the other person isnt some hoodlum. As long as that person cherishes and guarantees my daughters happiness, then as a parent, Id have to acquiesce in such relations. Letting go of my daughters wont be easy, I know. But I have to recognize the fact that someday, theyd be living their lives on their own. When that time comes, as their father, a little push and setting them off with a smile might be my very last role.

I am not really enthusiastic about having the futures of the children decided by grown ups. As long as they grow healthy and satisfied, for me, thats more than enough. Will there be any more gratifying than growing old with Sasha together with our son and daughters? I dont think so. Thats why for our three, no, four children, my only wish is for them to grow filled with energy and happiness.
