Part 3

Jax Blake and I are rushing to get onto the beach. I told that a.s.shole not to order breakfast, but he insisted, and now we're running late. This is not professional at all.

"Blake, can you f.u.c.king keep up with me?" I growl at him.

He's finishing off his breakfast sandwich and sipping his coffee. I roll my eyes and walk faster. I can see everyone on the beach listening to Kallie talk. Just as I am steps away from them, she throws her head back and starts laughing.

I stop dead in my tracks. "No f.u.c.king way," I whisper. I just stand there looking at her. I can't f.u.c.king believe it. Kallie is the mystical woman from in front of the club.

"You're telling me to hurry, and now you're standing here staring like a f.u.c.king idiot. Let's go," he says, nudging my shoulder. I snap out of it and walk over with him. "Sorry we're late, Jax had to eat breakfast. He's so high maintenance." I roll my eyes as everyone laughs.

"You might be able to fool everyone else, Blake, but I sure as s.h.i.t know who's the high maintenance one out of you two," Max yells.

I nod my head at Max and walk over to introduce myself to Kallie. As soon as I'm standing in front of her, I am f.u.c.king blown away. This woman is gorgeous*beyond gorgeous; she is stunning, flawless. She should be a model, not behind the lens.

I smile at her and hold out my hand. "Hi, Kallie, I'm Jax. It is so great to finally meet you. I'm sorry Blake and I are late. He's a f.u.c.king idiot sometimes."

She places her tiny hand in mine, and I swear to you I feel as if her hand belongs there, which is ridiculous. I think I'm just so taken back that the girl I saw outside the club is standing in front of me.

"You're not late. I only just told everyone what I had planned. Nothing I can't catch you up with quickly. And it is a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm really looking forward to this shoot." She gives me the most beautiful, genuine smile I've ever seen before turning to face everyone else. "All right, I'm going to need you all down by the water because the sun will be rising shortly."

Everyone starts walking down, Blake included, but I stay behind, still watching her. She bends over, with her hair curtaining her face, as she grabs her camera and a few different lenses. When she stands up, she jumps, and I can't help but chuckle.

"s.h.i.t, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I thought you might need some help with your equipment, and maybe you could tell me what the plan is."

Once again, she gives me that smile as she places her camera around her neck. "Thanks, but I'm used to lugging my camera and lenses everywhere, believe me. I'm sorry I didn't explain what I have planned." She waves her hand for me to follow, and like a f.u.c.king dog chasing after its master, I do it. She explains to me her vision, and I can tell just how pa.s.sionate she is in the two minutes it takes us to reach everyone. I really f.u.c.king like that.

I join everyone in a whole pile of randomness, but in a weird way, it makes sense. We're all talking, joking, and laughing with each other for a few minutes. I turn to see what Kallie's doing, and she has gone from this smiling, beautiful girl, to a serious yet confident photographer. I find it s.e.xy as s.h.i.t; it's like she's in her own world, snapping photo after photo from all different angles. Never once telling us what to do, she just captures what's happening. I'm captivated by her.

"Hey, Jax." I turn to Blake and can't help but laugh when I see Max on his back.

Next thing I know, this beautiful woman runs at me, and I catch her, taking a few steps back to gain my balance. She laughs and I give her my half-smirk.

"Hey, Jax, I'm Brinley. I've seen your work. You are amazing," she says, smiling at me.

Definitely a compliment I won't ever get tired of hearing, especially coming from her, considering I've seen some of Max's shoots with her. She's extremely talented herself.

"Nice to meet you, Brinley. I've seen yours too, stunning."

She winks at me, and I just happen to notice my hands are gripping her a.s.s. This is when it gets hard, literally. I need to try to keep my mind focused on the shoot, not the beautiful woman I'm holding, touching, or kissing. Sometimes my c.o.c.k has different plans, and that's a situation I don't like being in-on a shoot, that is.

"All right, listen up. You've all goofed off enough. I need you all as close as possible, but continue doing what you're doing. I just need you all closer and focusing on me. I want a few serious faces before we get some smiles." Immediately, everyone shuts up and does exactly as we are told.

Brinley is still in my arms, Max is still on Blake's back, and the others are either holding someone or on someone's back. Without further instruction, we all stare at Kallie. Even though my hands are touching this s.e.xy woman, my c.o.c.k is focused on Kallie. s.h.i.t, this can't be good. We have a long day of being around each other. I need to get my s.h.i.t under control here. I take a few deep breaths through my nose and focus on the shoot and nothing else. I look at the camera, not the flawless woman behind it.

I feel like we've been doing this group shoot forever when Kallie finally tells us excellent job and to follow her back up the beach. I put Brinley down, and she races off to Kallie. Interesting. I slowly start following them when I feel a slap on my back.

"She's great, isn't she?" Max asks.

"From what I can tell, h.e.l.l yes. She seems really devoted and confident. I like that," I say.

He nods his head in agreement as we reach the spot where Kallie is waiting for us. We all stand around waiting to see what she has planned next.

"First of all, those shots came out f.u.c.king amazing. I'm really pleased with them, so thank you all so much for humoring me with that. I've got a lot I want to get through today, so let's get right back to it. I'll start with the guys, since there are more of you. I want to do a few group shots, and then individual. I want to do the group shots up here on the rocks. Do you think it's possible for you guys to carefully climb up on the rocks? Spread out, I don't want you on top of each other this time. When we're done, I'll do another shoot down by the water before we do individual," Kallie says, completely in control.

Once again, without another word, we all make our way up on the rocks. Once she has us move left or right, up or down, and tells some of us to stand, others to sit, and others to squat, she begins snapping again. She gets right up there in the rocks with us, and I find it so amazing that she is so invested in what she is doing. You can actually feel the enthusiasm, which honestly makes me more into the shoot. I can't remember if I've ever felt this compelled to prove myself before, and it's not because she is drop dead gorgeous, it's because I want to be every bit as good as she is.

We do several different shots on the rocks, some with our shirts, some without. Once she's satisfied, she instructs us to climb down and tells us to wait while she does the girls. Just watching, I can tell how great these photos are going to be.

"d.a.m.n, Jax, I haven't seen you stare at someone like that since...s.h.i.t, I've never seen it. You think she's hot, right?" Blake asks, and I look at him, a little more p.i.s.sed off than is necessary.

I do think she's hot, but that's not why I'm watching; well, it's not the only reason I'm watching. It p.i.s.ses me off that he suggests that...or that possibly he's looking at her thinking she's hot.

"Actually, a.s.shole, I'm intrigued how she works. I've never worked with a photographer like her before, and don't even tell me you have, because I know you haven't," I comment.

He laughs and slaps my back. "All right, brother, keep telling yourself that." I simply raise my eyebrows and take a sip of my water. He holds up his hands and steps back. "I know that look. I'll shut up."

I don't even say anything because he's right, he does know it. I beat his a.s.s once for trying to hook up with a close friend when we were in high school. He knows I'd do it again. He changes the subject to what we'll have for lunch.

"f.u.c.k, Blake, you just ate breakfast two hours ago," I say. He shrugs his shoulders, looking at me like a man-child. "You're an idiot. I don't know. Maybe we can go grab a burger or something when it's time, all right?"

I turn from him to go talk with the other guys, and before I know it, Kallie is back calling each of us individually for shots. I'm glad I'm not the first to go. I want to get a feel for what she's doing, although she could very well have something different planned for each of us. What the f.u.c.k do I know?

After doing individual shots for everyone except for me, Brinley, and another girl, Kallie finally calls me. I follow her down to the water, and once we're there, it's straight to work.

"Take your shirt off, cross your arms, and give me a serious expression." I toss my shirt behind her and do exactly as she says. "Perfect, now I want you on your knees, hands in your hair, staring up at the sky." Shot after shot, she tells me exactly what she wants, but it's the last two that really intrigue me. "I want you on your stomach, arms stretched out right where the waves lap onto the beach." The waves lapping on my hot body are a much-needed relief from the hot sun and photographer. "Now flip onto your back, and put your arms under your head, and close your eyes." Once I do that, I can hear the clicking of the camera, and then I feel her legs straddle me as she stands over me. I've never been more grateful in my life to have my eyes closed. "d.a.m.n, Jax, these are amazing. You can rinse off now."

I sit up and she smiles at me. I'm so caught off guard that I don't notice the sound of the wave, and it smacks me in the face, knocking me backward. I stand up quickly and look at her. She has her hand over her mouth, and her eyes are the size of half dollars. "Holy s.h.i.t, are you all right?" she asks.

I laugh through my embarra.s.sment. "I'm fine." I walk into the water and go under with the next wave, getting as much sand off me as possible. I turn to walk back up and there's Kallie, snapping away. "You never let an opportunity pa.s.s you by, do you?" She laughs and continues to snap more even as I wipe the dripping water from my face.

"Honestly, Jax, no...I never let an opportunity pa.s.s me. We just met, so you don't know that, but ask Brinley. We've been friends since college. She'll tell you how I am." She laughs while shaking her head.

"Kallie, I have to say I've never met anyone like you." She smiles, but I can tell she's not sure if that's a compliment or not. "That's a good thing, believe me. I've never seen a photographer more pa.s.sionate before. It's been amazing to watch, honestly."

I'm rewarded with that genuine smile again. "That means more to me than you could ever imagine. All right, let's head back so I can finish up these shots. I'm f.u.c.king starving. You can go grab lunch now if you want. After I finish with Brinley and Melanie, we'll have an hour or so break. So go enjoy*just be back here at three o'clock," she says as she turns to walk away.

I stop walking, reach out, and touch her arm. She stops and looks at me. "Do you like burgers?" She just stares at me. I laugh and ask again, "Do you like burgers?"

"Umm, yes?" she mumbles, searching my face.

I smirk at her confusion. "I'm going to grab some burgers with Blake and the guys. I'll bring you back one. How do you like it?" I ask.

"Oh no, you don't need to do that," she rushes out.

I stand in front of her and realize just how much taller I am. "If you don't tell me how you like it, I'll bring it back the way I like it."

It doesn't take her long to tell me just how she likes her burger. I give her a wink, and we walk back up to everyone. She calls Brinley down for her shoot, while the rest of us go grab some lunch. I made sure to ask Brinley and Melanie what they wanted to eat as well. I'm not an a.s.shole; I couldn't bring Kallie back food and not the other girls.

It takes us a good half hour to get the food before we head back to the beach. Some of them stay and eat there, but most of us go back.

"What are you trying to be, cla.s.s pet or some s.h.i.t?" Blake asks.

I glance at him before looking back at the road. "What the f.u.c.k is that supposed to mean?"

He switches the radio station and drums his fingers on his lap. "You know exactly what I mean," he says.

He's right. I've never gone out of my way to make sure a photog gets lunch, but in my defense, we've never done a shoot like this.

"Think it through all you want, brother, but you've got a hard-on for Kallie." Douche bag is right, I do.

"I'll admit she is f.u.c.king stunning, and I am intrigued by her, but I'm not stupid enough to f.u.c.k up the chance at working with an amazing photographer," I say.

He chuckles as I park the car. "Jax, sometimes I think you forget just how well I know you."

I get out and slam the door because son of a b.i.t.c.h, he's right.

Chapter Five.

Kallie This day so far has surpa.s.sed my expectations. The weather is perfect, the setting is breathtaking, and the models are awe-inspiring. The chemistry with all of them as a whole is amazing. When I was eating the lunch that Jax so generously got for me, I flipped through some of the photos and I'll admit I'm proud of myself. I can't wait to get home and get them all on my computer to start editing.

"Kallie, did you say I was shooting next with Jax?" Melanie asks and I smile. Everyone wants to shoot with Jax; h.e.l.l, I was taken back when I first saw him. Of course, I knew who he was; you'd have to live under a rock not to know, but holy f.u.c.k, in person, I can honestly say I've never met a s.e.xier man. His blue eyes hold such intensity and mystery, his body...s.h.i.t, let's be honest here, makes you want to rip off the rest of his clothes. He's muscular, and the way the tattoos wrap around his arms, d.a.m.n, it just makes him that much hotter. "Kallie?" I snap my head up to Melanie. f.u.c.k, I forgot she was talking.

"Sorry, sweetie, it's been a long day. Yes, I want a few shots of you with Jax. Then I'll finish off with Jax and Brinley. That way everyone has been photographed with everyone," I say.

She gives me a huge smile as she walks away, and my stomach tightens a bit. Well, what the f.u.c.k is that? I see models hooking up all the time, why should it bother me now? I shake my head to clear it of these unnecessary thoughts and pick up my camera.

"We're almost done, guys. I need Jax and Melanie for a few shots, then I'll finish up with Brinley and Jax. I want to get a few shots of all of you at sunset, so don't go too far." They're all just laughing and having a great time, which makes me happy, because I want them to enjoy working with me. I make my way down to the water once Jax and Melanie head down.

When I get down there, they're talking, and Melanie is definitely bringing out the full flirt-laughing, light touching, pushing her t.i.ts out. Yep, she's full flirting.

"All right, guys, just a few shots, I know it's been a long-a.s.s day. I want these to be intimate. Jax, I want you to hold Melanie close to you, maybe run your fingers down her face or touch her hair, but I want you both staring into each other's eyes." I change lenses on the camera before putting the camera strap around my neck. "I'm ready when you are."

Jax wraps one of his strong, tattooed arms around her waist, resting his hand low on her hip. He gently pulls her close and drags his thumb down her cheek. I actually witness her gasp. I can't stop snapping; it is stunning. They're both so amazing at what they do; no further instructions are needed. He rests his forehead on hers and cups her face with both hands, and he kisses her forehead before moving down and pressing his lips to hers. I'm not going to lie; it's f.u.c.king sensual and one h.e.l.l of a turn on.

"What the f.u.c.k!" Jax growls.

I pull the camera away and see him step away, staring angrily at Melanie. "What's wrong?" I ask, looking at both of them, completely lost. Jax just continues to stare down Melanie, and her face reads of complete embarra.s.sment.

"I'm sorry. I guess I was just in the moment," she mumbles.

He shakes his head and finally looks over at me. "Sorry, Kallie. I didn't intend to f.u.c.k up the shoot. I've just never had a woman grab my c.o.c.k before while shooting."

I whip my head to Melanie. "Melanie, what the f.u.c.k? You know better than to pull some s.h.i.t like that. We're done. Go get Brinley," I hiss. I'm so f.u.c.king p.i.s.sed. The pictures were stunning, and she had to go f.u.c.k it all up.

"Kallie, please. I'm sorry, I just let the moment sweep me away," she pleads.

I shake my head in disgust. What the models do on their own time is their business, but when I am shooting them, I will never allow one to be uncomfortable, and Jax is now. I can see it on his face. Not to mention, she grabbed his c.o.c.k. What the f.u.c.k!

"Melanie, we are done. Go," I say. She shakes her head and walks up the beach. "Jax, I am so sorry. I don't know what the f.u.c.k to say."

He takes two steps closer to me, putting him pretty much as close to me as they just were. "I'm sorry. I should have just continued, but it shocked me. I feel like an a.s.shole for ruining the shot," he says.

I'm overcome with his body heat and the intensity in his eyes. I feel my nipples getting hard when he rubs my arm. I can't even speak; I'm so mesmerized with this man. I know I need to back away to break this trance, but I can't, I'm glued in place. He moves his hand down to mine and grabs it, squeezing lightly, never once breaking eye contact. He pokes out his tongue the slightest bit, wetting his lips, and I realize I'm biting mine.

"s.h.i.t, what the f.u.c.k happened?" Boom! That's the bursting of this s.e.xual bubble. I pull my hand away from Jax as quickly as possible and spin around to Brinley.

"What the f.u.c.k is that supposed to mean? Nothing happened," I rush out. Guilt, that right there is guilt talking. Never, ever have I been so f.u.c.king stupid as to let my guard down with one of my models. I am disgusted with myself for even thinking for a moment what it would be like to be f.u.c.ked by this G.o.d of men.

"Nothing happened? Then why the f.u.c.k is Melanie up there freaking out?" Oh, f.u.c.k, s.h.i.t, right, Melanie. Oh my G.o.d, she was talking about Melanie, not me. "Jax, here. I figured with this drama you could use a cigarette."

He grabs it from her and lights right up. "d.a.m.n, thanks," he says and walks a bit away from us, and Brinley raises her eyebrows at me.

"I was shooting and Jax yelled. Turns out Grabby up there got a hold of his c.o.c.k and decided to give it a nice squeeze," I say.

She opens her eyes so wide I can't even see her lids. "Holy s.h.i.t." I nod my head, agreeing with her. "So what, you told her to take a hike?" she asks, looking up to Melanie and back to me.

I blow out a breath, trying to regain complete control of my body still. "Pretty much. She said she was caught up in the moment, but I'm not about to have a model uncomfortable."

She laughs and peeks behind me, I'm a.s.suming to see where Jax is. "Kallie, I've been b.u.t.t a.s.s naked with a model in a bed, shower, tub, you name it, and never have c.o.c.k grabbed, no matter how in the moment I am. She's full of s.h.i.t and you know it. She wants in his pants. It's as simple as that," she says.

"I know that, I'm not a f.u.c.king idiot," I mumble.

I glance at Jax, who is blowing smoke out of his mouth, staring out at the ocean. He appears in deep thought, and I really hope that's because of Melanie. I just need to finish this up. It's been a long day, and we all need to get home.

Turning back to Brinley, I smile. "I want a few shots of you and Jax, and then we'll do a couple of everyone again at sunset. I know everyone is exhausted. It's been a long day."

"Always right back to work. You don't stop for a minute," she says, shaking her head.

I lift my shoulders and adjust my camera around my neck. "You know me." Just as I turn to get Jax, he walks over to us. He gives me an almost shy smile when he reaches us. "You better now? Ready to do a few shots with Brinley?" I ask. I just need to finish this shoot because I'm extremely frustrated with myself at this point.

"I'm fine. Are you all right?" he asks, searching my eyes.

Please, stop being so sweet; stop staring at me with those telling eyes.

"I'm great. Let's do this before we lose light, all right?" I turn away from him. "Brin, let's go."

She pulls off her sundress, revealing a black-and-white striped bikini that shows off her amazing body. These two work perfectly together. I tell them to be s.e.xy and just let them at it. The photos I've gotten are spectacular. I especially love this last one I'm shooting of them. He's on top of her, pinning her hands above her head. She has an innocent look, and he has a hard expression. Stunning.

"Perfect, guys, seriously amazing," I say.

Jax stands up and puts out his hand to help Brinley up. Of course he does. I just want to get these final shots and rest my overactive mind. I turn and wave everyone down so I can do just that. They all make their way, and I tell everyone to make these last few photos serious, not goofy. Melanie, thankfully, stays at one end and Jax at the other. They all get together in the perfect arrangement and face me completely serious while I snap away. The sun is setting behind them, giving me the most brilliant pink backdrop.
