A little while later, a knock from the half-opened door was heard and Daniel Cho appeared with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.

"May I come in?", he said with a smile as he stepped inside. He was still wearing his business suit and he looked like he came straight from the other city which was about an hour of plane ride away.

Samantha lifted her head when he heard her man's voice, "You're here... I thought you were in City S tonight?", Samantha spoke with a surprised expression.

Alexander stood up from his chair, "It's late, let's call it a day. I'll see you on Monday, Samantha.", he said to her in which she agreed and a.s.sistant Chen also excused herself.

Daniel nodded to Alexander and said a faint 'Thank You' when he pa.s.sed by him, in which he also nodded with a smile in return.

When they left, Daniel walked over to Samantha and pulled her into his embrace. "I'm sorry I couldn't be with you tonight."

Samantha snuggled onto his chest, missing his body warmth and inhaled his s.e.xy scent. "It's okay... but I miss you, though"

"Me too.", Daniel pulled back, "This is for you, CEO Kim.", he handed her the bouquet before giving her a long kiss.

Holding her hand, they went out of the room and exited the hotel. With Samantha's car, Daniel drove them to his penthouse which was not far from the hotel compared to her house.

As soon as they entered his pad, he turned to her and asked, "Are you hungry? I can make you some food."

"Not really, I'm more exhausted than hungry. I just wanna curl up in bed.", she said as she leaned onto him.

"Okay, then I'll bring you to bed.", right after he said those words, Daniel scooped her up and brought her to his bedroom. Samantha giggled, she thought it was funny that he was like that. Thinking that he was going to ravish her right after he sets her down on his bed, she blushed but to her surprise, he didn't. He just laid next to her.

"You look very beautiful.", he said while looking at her. "I heard you did great."

Samantha then talked about what happened earlier and both of them laughed, she found it hilarious how she was very nervous before appearing in front of her people. It was the first time that she did that so she really didn't how to deal with it.

They talked about the previous days while Daniel was out on a trip and she asked about how his work was going. The night was calm and the two of them just lay there next to each other as they talked about a lot of things.

Ever since they returned, their relations.h.i.+p had improved. They were more open to each other now and were more comfortable about sharing their thoughts. Daniel found this to be satisfying, how he wished that they could always be like this.

The next day, the entire country was shaken with the news about Trident's mysterious CEO who appeared in their company's 4th anniversary the night before. It was all over the tabloids, internet, and social media. The articles were about how surprising it was that everyone thought the CEO to be a man but as it turns out, it was actually a beautiful woman in her mid-20s.

"Trident's mysterious CEO, Samantha Bella Kim." and some other words were the common t.i.tles of the articles that were trending online. In it was the history of their company and some of its achievements since they've started, with a clear photo of Samantha in her red s.e.xy gown.

There were some pictures of her getting out of her 'Taz' Bugatti Chiron were also included in the articles online. When the media took photos of her arrival, they didn't know who she was at first but how could they pa.s.s up the opportunity of snapping pictures of someone gorgeous, what's more, with the luxurious super sports car.

So when they found out that she was actually the CEO whom they've all been itching to find out, they were ecstatic to do their write-ups. They wanted to ask her for an interview but were declined by Samantha's security detail. Nevertheless, the news still stirred up the industry especially those who looked up to the astounding software company.

Soon, people who saw the online photos of the Chiron the day before was shocked to know that it belongs to the CEO of Trident. There were a lot of people who were excited and were feeling jealous of her car. Some said harsh words like she was just a show off and that she wasted money.

But the shock that the people experienced wasn't as huge as the shock that a certain someone had when he found out the news.

Nancy was sitting on the sofa with Andrew beside her, they were watching the tv when the news about Trident's CEO came on.

As soon as Andrew saw Samantha's face on the screen, his expression changed. He froze on the spot as he listened intently on the report, his eyes fixated on the TV.

'WHAT THE?! Samantha?', his thoughts have gone wild.

"How is this possible?", he muttered.

Nancy caught on. She looked at the man beside her and studied his expression. She actually had read about an article on her way to the agency, she was also a bit surprised but since she knew that Samantha was smart and was already rich, it wasn't totally shocking for her.

However she was bothered that Samantha was now known to the public, though they didn't belong in the same industry, she still didn't like the thought that Samantha was getting famous. She certainly was somewhere in hiding like she always did for the past 12 years. Why did she suddenly decide to appear in the public now?

Looking at Andrew next to her, Nancy wondered if Andrew knew Samantha so she tried to probe.

"Babe? What's wrong? Do you know her?"

Andrew didn't respond as he continued to look at the TV in front of them. He was listening to every word that the reporter was saying that he didn't even notice Nancy's question.

He felt the urge to see her, so he stood up and walked towards the door, leaving Nancy with a puzzled expression on the sofa. "Where are you going? Andrew?"

"I have to be somewhere.", he said before he left his office.
