197 Fluff Despite The Chaos

Back when she was still a teenager, although she mostly kept to herself, she also had dreamt of meeting the guy that she would one day marry. She used to think that her future husband must have been somewhere far and how nice it would be if they suddenly just meet by chance. And what are the odds? She had actually met Daniel even before she knew it was him. She met him when she wasn't expecting, she met him again under a different circ.u.mstance wherein she wasn't looking for him and she had met him again when he found her after she ran away.

The problem of being labeled as the third party online had indeed made her sad.

She stretched her right arm and touched the side of his head. She stroked it and moved towards him. She leaned her head his shoulder while she hugged his arm, "Do you know that I feel so lucky and blessed that I have you?"

Daniel touched her face, lifted her chin up and pressed his lips to hers ever so gently. "And I am the happiest man because you are with me." He laid his head on hers and hugged her, "Don't worry about those things, I know they're very bothersome but just continue what you want to do. No matter what it is, I will always be right behind you."

"You are so sweet. And you feel so warm…" she snuggled and smelled him, "And you smell really good." She commented.

He chuckled and his laugh made Samantha blush, "Is this your way of telling me that you want us to go home now so that you can take advantage of me?"

She sat up straight and looked surprised, "Wh Excuse me?" She laughed as she said, "Well, as long as you let me take advantage of you… you wouldn't mind right?" She went back to snuggle on his arm and smiled.

"I would let you take advantage of me as much as you want. It would be both your pleasure and mine."

Samantha laughed heartily at his statement. "Mr. Cho, you are very cunning! Is 'taking me to bed' what you only think about?"

"Well of course not, honey." He answered and a smirk appeared on his face as he thought of how to answer her silly question. "I would first take you out for dinner and then take you to bed."

She let out a laugh again and Daniel laughed with her. He was pretty happy that despite the chaos, they were still able to laugh like this.

Which is actually what they usually do even when there's a pressing matter out there. Everyone has been bas.h.i.+ng and insulting them from left and right. But here they are, inside Daniel's car and in each other's arms as they enjoy the afternoon view of the sea in front of them as if they aren't even the slightest bit bothered.

While they were trying to forget what was happening out there, the comment sections of the articles have blown up.

"And here I was, thinking that the most eligible bachelor was actually a righteous man."

"I thought that Ms. Kim and Mr. Cho were a good pair! Look at those photos of them together, aren't they cute? They look in love!"

"The commenter above ^^ how could you say that? What about Ms. Qin?"

"What about her? Of all the pictures in here, they only have one where they were together and they weren't even doing anything. They were just standing and they were not even close! Do we just believe what the writer in here is saying?"

"Hey! CEO Cho! How could you do that to other bidders! They worked so hard to get your partners.h.i.+p but you played them!"

"^^ another idiot who believes whatever he reads on the internet right away. Try to get your facts right! Trident won the bidding because they are very capable!"

" ^^ You're the idiot!"

The commenters were split and they have their own opinions about the news. Meanwhile, a certain woman was laying on her bed, reading the article and comments over and over again. She was enjoying what her uncle had done this time. Melissa Qin had a smile on her face as she touched the screen of her phone, stroking the picture of Daniel Cho. Even if these were just baseless or made up stories, she was relis.h.i.+ng the idea that other people think of them as a couple. She was delusional.

Back in Country F when she and Daniel had just started dating, the Cho and Qin's family business' were already compet.i.tors in some industries. But during that time, Melissa's Uncle wasn't the CEO yet and both Daniel and Melissa didn't really care about how their relations.h.i.+p will have any effect with their family's businesses. They were both young and they were both just enjoying their youth at that time.

But many years later, after Daniel graduated from university and while he was studying his master's degree, his father had already placed him in the CEO's seat. His first year as the president of the Cho Corporation wasn't easy because the board had doubted his capabilities and even their compet.i.tors laughed at the Cho's decision to make him be in charge of such a large corporation.

But within only a year, Daniel proved them wrong, shocked them to the core and made them s.h.i.+ver in fear. He was definitely a man born as a leader as he made everyone who worked under him, respect him and his achievements. Cho Corporation rose up to the ladder year after year, there were expansions after expansions and developments everywhere. He was simply a genius and that made the compet.i.tors envy him so much.

And of course, one of which was Melissa Qin's uncle which is the current CEO of Qin Corporation. He got so jealous because he had invested a lot but he failed and only gained a few. He had some successful projects but it was still not on par with Daniel's achievements since he started. People had started to talk behind his back saying that his skills weren't that good and had started to question his capabilities compared to how a young man like Daniel Cho was on a higher level than him. He couldn't take the criticisms, he was very much envious.

And just as he thought that there was nothing else he could do but just accept that he was always just second to the young man, he received a mysterious phone call from someone. Mr. Qin was surprised to know that there was another person, lurking from afar, who had held a deep grudge against Daniel Cho.
