Samantha and Hannah both called his name.

"Hey… I heard about what happened.", he spoke as he walked towards them

During this time, Hannah broke out in a cold sweat as she had not told Samantha about her and Seo Joon yet, 'What if he slips up and exposes our relations.h.i.+p?', she worried in her mind.

Without much thought, Hannah blurted out, "S, Joon… your brother... is here to see you!"

Samantha raised her brows as she observed her brother and her best friend.

Seo Joon looked at Hannah and had a puzzled expression on his face, he wasn't sure why Hannah said that. "I am?", he questioned his girlfriend who sounded nervous.

She frantically nodded her head like a bobble head toy on a dashboard. Looking at Samantha, she confirmed, "Yes, he called me earlier to ask if you were still here. And yes you're still here… so that's why he's here… your brother.", she babbled awkwardly.

Seo Joon raised a brow, 'I did call but you didn't pick up… when did we talk?', he pondered.

"I did?", he questioned.

At this point, Hannah widened her eyes and shot daggers at him, signaling him to just go with the flow.

Threatened by his girlfriend's glare, Seo Joon corrected himself. "I did. Yes, I did call."

While Hannah and Seo Joon exchanged stares, Samantha pursed her lips as she tried so hard not to laugh at the two of them.

"Ahh… Thanks for checking on me, Joon. I'm fine though…", she told her brother.

Seo Joon sighed in relief, "That's good. You two sure know how to cause trouble."

"What do you mean cause trouble? It wasn't me who started it!", Hannah protested.

He walked towards them and sat on the bench opposite to Hannah, "Even so, you were still involved."

Hannah crossed her brows to show her disagreement but didn't say anything else.

Samantha found the two of them cute. She lifted her head and met Daniel's eyes and as if they knew each other's thoughts, Daniel nodded at her subtly and Samantha did the same to agree with him.

She and Daniel had already noticed the way Hannah and Seo Joon were acting but they didn't expose them. They thought that it was fun to watch the new couple as they tried to hide their relations.h.i.+p.

Samantha lifted her hand and stroked Daniel's upper arm, and with a smile, she hinted, "Honey, aren't we going somewhere today? You said that you were bringing me to that place?"

Daniel, like the smart guy that he is, caught on what his fiancee meant right away so he played along, "Mhmm, we need to leave now."

Hannah turned her head towards them, "The entrance is packed, it will be difficult for the both of you to leave together. Use the back door."

There were still a lot of people outside. And because of Samantha's current situation and Daniel's ident.i.ty, it wasn't such a good idea to be seen leaving the cafe together. If the people will see them, for sure, there will be another story for them to feast on. Daniel and Samantha aren't ready for that to happen yet.

They both nodded their heads. Seo Joon walked up to his sister and gave her a side hug before he ruffled her hair, "You two be careful. Text me when you're home, okay?"

"I will. You too… you both ummm... take care…", Samantha added before she and Daniel turned around to leave with smiles on their faces.

When Seo Joon and Hannah were left alone on the roof garden, it suddenly became very quiet; it was deafening. Hannah sheepishly touched her nape when she found the situation a bit awkward.

Seo Joon was still standing by Hannah's side as if he was waiting for her to say something. She was sitting on the bench looking in front of her trying to avoid looking at the man beside her because she suddenly felt guilty for what she just did earlier. She started to fiddle with her hands and bit her lip as she thought of what to say to him.

Growing up, Hannah never had the difficulty in talking to Seo Joon with just about anything since they were friends. But now that they were dating and especially because their relations.h.i.+p was still very new, she found that she had gotten very shy in expressing her thoughts to him and even admitting to her best friend was also making her nervous.

When she finally found the courage to speak, she swallowed, afraid that Seo Joon might be mad because of what she did. Turning her body to face him, she opened her mouth to speak, "Joon… I- I'm so- Aaaah!!", she yelped in surprise because just as she started talking, Seo Joon had reached his hand out, grabbed hers and then quickly, he pulled her up to bring her towards him in an embrace with one liquid movement.

Hannah was unable to move because she was shocked by his sudden action.

Moving his mouth close to her ear, he whispered in a low voice making Hannah's heart thump wildly, "You were very silly, do you know that?"
