"Bro.." Liam spoke.

"Not now." Daniel replied firmly.

"But bro, aren't you going to introdu-"

"I said not now.. My girlfriend's waiting for me in my office." Daniel said as the corners of his mouth lifted upwards.

Liam blinked and gaped as his brother makes his way towards his office. 'My brother has a girlfriend? My brother has a girlfriend!! Hallelujah! This is big news!' Liam covered his mouth and tried to suppress himself from screaming. He tried to catch up with his brother but Daniel already had entered his office and closed the door. Liam knocked and twisted the k.n.o.b but his evil brother has already locked it!! 'Is he.. Is he going to? OHHHHH' He knocked a few times and said "Bro, wait. Let me see her!"

Daniel on the other side of the door "Go away or I'll make you go on a business trip for a month."

When Liam heard this, he stopped and turned as he walked towards his office and sulked. "So stingy."

Samantha sat on the sofa like nothing happened as she flipped the pages of a Forbes Magazine. The truth is, she's too nervous to look at Daniel at the moment so she sucked it up and pretended that what she did earlier was just normal.

"Hey, darling, what do you want to drink?" Daniel asked as he walked towards her.

"I'm not thirsty."

Looks like Daniel isn't the only one who gets jealous easily.

Daniel tried to contain his smugness, "So.. what are you doing?"

Samantha swallowed and said, "Just reading."

"Huh, but you don't like reading Forbes.", He said as he sat beside her.

"What? That's nonsense... I.. I read it sometimes."

Daniel doesn't let it go, he can see right through her act; he finds it amusing.

"Really... but you said before, you don't like reading it because it gives you a headache. The only magazines you read are Baking Heaven, Bon Appét.i.t and Cosmo."

Samantha cursed herself, 'Why!! I did tell him all about that, but he didn't have to remember!'

Samantha.. that just means he remembers everything about you.

"Don't make me confess. Even if you're right, Let me go and give me face." Samantha said shamelessly.

Daniel chuckled. Samantha is just too cute.

"Okay, I won't. Only because you're my girlfriend.", he said with a teasing tone on the last word and Samantha's cheeks burned.

"Don't you miss me? Why aren't you looking at me?" Daniel smirked.

"Why would I miss you? We talk on the phone every day."

"Ah, is that right? Okay, I'll just go back to j.a.pan then.", he said as he attempted to stand up.

Samantha was startled and quickly grabbed Daniel's hand preventing him from standing up. "I.. I.. I miss you.", she said while she gazed at him tenderly.

He grinned and right after the words left Samantha's lips, he pushed her down on the sofa. She gasped in surprise as Daniel had already pinned her down.

Samantha's heart beats rapidly as Daniel's scent invaded her senses. She stared at his warm gaze while he was looking at her as if he wanted to consume her. They stared into each other's eyes for a good amount of time without saying anything; but even though they're silent, their eyes communicated and both of them felt at ease.

Samantha's heart calmed down when she saw Daniel s.h.i.+fted his gaze from her eyes to her lips and it lingered there for a bit before he looked at her again. Samantha knew what he wanted and so she slowly closed her eyes in response, giving Daniel permission.

Seeing that Samantha also wanted him, he leaned forward.. and then his lips met hers. Daniel's kiss was gentle and slow.. Samantha tightened her grasp on Daniel's s.h.i.+rt as she stiffened beneath him. She couldn't resist but respond to his kisses. This was their first kiss and it was sweet; Samantha's lips were sweet and Daniel's were cool.

She hooked her arms around his neck and Samantha tried but failed to contain her excitement when a faint moan escaped her lips and desire kicked through Daniel's senses when he heard her weak moan, so he deepened the kiss while he tries to steady himself on top of her. He missed her. He hadn't seen her for more than a week and he missed her. He's already kissing her and yet he still misses her, he just couldn't get enough of her.

Daniel tried all his might to slow down and with small kisses in between, he whispered, "I missed you so much."

They stayed in each other's arms for a few more minutes before Daniel got up and grabbed a gift bag from his desk.

He returned to Samantha's side and gave it to her... Here, I got this for you.

Samantha recalled Andrew's lingerie gifts and she suddenly felt a little scared, 'That's not lingerie, right?' she thought to herself... She seemed to be traumatized by that unsightly piece.

Shaking the nightmare off her mind, she beamed as she received the bag, "Aww, You shouldn't have... What's this?"

"They're something I'm pretty sure you'd enjoy." he smiled.

Samantha opened the bag and saw different goodies inside, like mochi, dorayaki, daif.u.ku, castella and a few more little bits of every popular dessert in j.a.pan. Samantha giggled as she exclaimed oohs and ahhs..

"Oh! You even got the Tokyo Milk Cheese Factory cookies! You remembered!" It was one of her favorite snacks from j.a.pan and she just mentioned it in pa.s.sing while they chatted on the phone during his stay there; she's really touched not because he got her food but because he remembers little details of what she said.

Daniel's heart is filled with warmth, Samantha's happy even with just simple things like these gifts. "I'm glad you're happy."

"Did you behave while I was gone?", he asked as he glanced at her hand, he was checking if there were bruises. Probably because it had been more than a week that it had already faded.

"I always behave!" She said as she munched on the cookies like a squirrel.

He scoffed. "Call me honey and I'll believe you."

Samantha was in such a good mood because of her delicious cookies, she didn't mind at all, " HONEY ", she proudly said.

Daniel choked and coughed. 'She's really unique.'

Samantha seemed to remember something, "Earlier, that woman, who is she?"

"She's the Project Management Director, Leah Tan." He answered indifferently.

"I see."

"Are you jealous?" Daniel smugly asked.

"Do I have a reason to be?"

"No. She's irrelevant."

"She seems to want to get close to you, literally."

"You're jealous." Yup, she is. And Daniel's liking the attention.

"I have the right to be, don't I?"

"Yes, you do."

"Was I too much earlier? I didn't mean to cause trouble."

"Nope. You were perfect. I loved how possessive you are of me. Keep at it." he paused, "Plus you look great when you're seducing me, keep it comin' darling."

Samantha coughed and cleared her throat. Sometimes, she surprises herself of the things she does. She's not usually like this. She stood up and walked towards the tall window in an attempt to hide her embarra.s.sment. Daniel followed her and they watched the crowd below them.

"Ohh, you have such an amazing view in your office. You can even see the beach over there."

"Do you like the waters?"

"Yeah, I like how the waves give me serenity."

Daniel walked behind her and he wrapped his arms around Samantha, trapping her arms. Samantha felt Daniel's firm chest on her back and she sensed security and belongingness; she didn't feel awkward at all, it felt natural. "I'll bring you there next time."

Samantha's mother had called her and when Mrs. Kim heard that Daniel has returned, she invited the couple over for dinner.

When they arrived at the Kim Family's estate, Samantha was nervous; 'Meeting the parents? Aren't we too early for that?' Daniel had met her mom but she was actually worried about her dad.

"We can cancel, you know. You don't have to do this."

"Samantha, it's rude to decline your parents' invitation. Take it easy, it'll be fine."

"How can you be so calm about this? Aren't you nervous at all??" Samantha thought, 'Are you a robot or something?' she looked at him strangely.

"Why should I be nervous? I have nothing to hide."

Why does Samantha feel so uneasy? She feels like something's going to happen tonight.

Samantha inhaled deeply before they entered the foyer, her mom greeted them but something was weird about the way her mom looked at the couple. When they entered the living room, Samantha tensed up beside Daniel.

Sitting on the sofa was her brother, Seo Joon and sitting across her brother was none other than, Nathan Yun.

Why was her ex-boyfriend there today? At this hour? At this minute? Are the G.o.ds punis.h.i.+ng her for being naughty? This is so awkward.

When Seo Joon noticed his sister, he brightened up, "Hey Dopey, you're here!" and then his gaze s.h.i.+fted to the man beside his sister and he was... bewildered.

"Uhh.. mother, why is the President of Cho Corporation in our house?" he asked.

Nathan turned his head towards them and smiled, "It's nice to see you again, Samantha.".

Is Nathan Yun psychic perhaps? He seems to appear whenever Daniel Cho is also there. Samantha didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She looked at Daniel beside her and she felt the temperature in the room getting colder.
