After the three of them got their food, Yu Hao still felt a little incredulous as he said, “Zhou Sheng, you're actually so willing to help him?”

Zhou Sheng said, “I actually admire him quite a bit. Why? Jealous? If you're jealous, we won't go.”

Yu Hao quickly said no. He wasn't jealous at all, but Zhou Sheng's decision made Yu Hao understand him a bit better. Zhou Sheng thought about it a bit more and continued, “He taught me some things.”

Chen Yekai said, “Regarding justice?”

“No.” Zhou Sheng said, “This can be considered as a very small favour.”

Yu Hao eyed Zhou Sheng suspiciously, while Zhou Sheng made eyes at Yu Hao mischievously. A bunch of question marks appeared above Yu Hao's head, so Zhou Sheng could only answer with, “Why are you so stupid? That kid's our catalyst.”

Yu Hao, “……”

Yu Hao remembered that if it hadn't been because Ou Qihang was wooing him, Zhou Sheng might have wanted to drag out his confession until after he defeated Medusa. He didn't know what to say for a moment, so he just lowered his head and continued eating with a flushed face. Chen Yekai's HP dropped by quite a bit, and he could only pretend to not have heard anything.

“You can call me if you need help.” Chen Yekai said.

Zhou Sheng said, “You can't cross through, there's no use even if we call you.”

Chen Yekai said, “If you really need the help, there's always a way.”

Zhou Sheng, “You just want to go, right?”

Chen Yekai said, “There's really no such thing, I was just wondering if I could help you guys. Zhou Sheng, you've been corrupted by Huang Ting!”

Zhou Sheng, “Okay okay, I understand what you're thinking. I'll help you think of something okay? Kaikai don't get too anxious.”

Chen Yekai, “You're too annoying Zhou Sheng, if you keep harping on it I'll deduct Yu Hao's coursework score.”

Yu Hao, “………………………………”

In the afternoon.

“Do you have a very good relationship with Chen Laoshi?” Li Yangming asked Yu Hao.

Yu Hao, “It's not that good.”

Li Yangming, “But I saw you guys having lunch together in the afternoon. I sneaked a shot today and printed it out, could you help me get his autograph on it?”

Yu Hao, “He'll deduct my coursework scores until there's none left, don't think about it anymore.”

Li Yangming chuckled. Yu Hao said patiently, “If Zhou Sheng had broken Chen Laoshi's hand, do you think we would have eaten lunch together this afternoon?”

Li Yangmin said, “You never know.”

Yu Hao realised that Li Yangming really had a talent for killing conversations. Li Yangming continued, “Chen Laoshi's so outstanding, yet you chose Zhou Sheng. Zhou Sheng must feel very fortunate ba.”

Yu Hao looked at Li Yangming. This was the first time someone had so indirectly evaluated Zhou Sheng, and it made him feel quite complicated.

“Zhou Sheng's very outstanding,” Yu Hao said earnestly, “He's the most outstanding person I've ever met. You've just never seen him shine before. I don't want to compare them, but I admire Zhou Sheng a lot. Didn't you realise? Everyone who becomes his friend admires him from the bottom of their hearts, who else could do that?”

Li Yangming said, “I think he's too fierce, but he does listen to you. Only you can rein him in.”

“Also, Chen Laoshi doesn't like me.” Yu Hao said, “Don't listen to the nonsense of the people in cla.s.s.”

Li Yangming said, “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, I understand. Didn't you notice that in cla.s.s, Chen Laoshi would always pay attention to whether you arrived, and he would only start roll call after finding you?”

“He's just afraid of me oversleeping.” Yu Hao thought that Chen Yekai was probably just worried about some accident occurring ba, but now that he thought about it, Chen Yekai does seem to care about them a lot.

When night fell, Zhou Sheng and Yu Hao looked up in the dream and gazed at the Golden Crow Wheel.

“Do we call him?” Zhou Sheng said.

Yu Hao answered, “How? He didn't pa.s.s his totem to either of us, he can't come to our dreams.”

Zhou Sheng was clad in armour today and sidestepped his question. He thought about it for a bit and said, “I s.n.a.t.c.hed something from him, so I should find a way to act as his matchmaker, shouldn't I?”

Yu Hao, “What did you s.n.a.t.c.h from him?”

“You.” Zhou Sheng laughed.

Yu Hao suddenly understood, “Why are you always mentioning that, we already said that it's not true! It's not! Even you're saying that, I'm gonna get angry. And even if it is true, this was my own choice.”

Zhou Sheng quickly said, “Ok ok ok, don't get angry, I was wrong. I won't mention it anymore.”

Yu Hao frowned as he looked at him, but Zhou Sheng motioned for him to look at the Golden Crow Wheel, “Kaikai's dreaming of you.”

A lush tropical rainforest appeared in the projection within the Golden Crow Wheel. Yu Hao glanced at it, but Zhou Sheng held his hand and said, “Go.”

Yu Hao, “Wait……”

Zhou Sheng held Yu Hao's hand and they crossed through the Golden Crow Wheel together, then fell from the sun in Chen Yekai's dream. Yu Hao subconsciously held onto Zhou Sheng tightly; Zhou Sheng whistled, and his jindouyun flew over. He carried his jingubang and took Yu Hao along as they flew to the top of Chichén Itzá.

Chen Yekai was sitting on the throne, appearing a little lonely as he looked up at the sky. He casually raised his hand, wielding a silver pistol, and fired a shot. The jindouyun flew over and stopped. Chen Yekai was dressed in the attire of a great chieftain, “I knew that you guys would come tonight.”

Zhou Sheng got off the jindouyun while Yu Hao went to the apex of Chichén Itzá. Ever since he left this dream, he has never taken a proper look at Chen Yekai's dream world. On the platform at the apex of the pyramid was an open room, and it was decorated in the style of the old room he shared with Ryuusei.

The previous time he entered 'next life', Yu Hao's only feeling was warmth and comfort — he knew that it was the memory Ryuusei and Chen Yekai shared. Yet, it was only after he rented a place with Zhou Sheng outside before Yu Hao fully understood what such a home meant.

It was a promise representing their commitment to stay together and hold each other's hand for the rest of their life.

There was only one dining table, and the dining room was just a place for eating. The sofa, gaming consoles, TV, one bed, decorations, and everything inside all seemed ordinary, and didn't seem any different from the layout of any other one bedroom flats. Yet, once it became a 'home', it was as if an enchantment was cast on it, such that all vitality thrived within this boundary.

Yu Hao sat down at the dining table in the open room. He brewed his own cup of coffee and stared into the distance in a daze. When he sat here, he could see the chapel on Mt. Tianqing.

“Looks like you're really boring in dreams too.” Zhou Sheng said.

Chen Yekai got up and said, “Life has always been boring in the first place, it's not as energetic as yours. Great Sage, do you plan on taking your bros out tonight to have fun?”

Zhou Sheng said, “If it's about having fun then forget it. I suddenly remembered that I haven't erased your memories.”

“Don't ba.” Chen Yekai said, “Can't you be magnanimous about this?”

Yu Hao, “……”

“It's just a joke.” Zhou Sheng said, “What are you so nervous for?”

“But you do need to erase that kid's memories.” Chen Yekai said, “If he does spill, it won't be a joke anymore.”

“I know.” Zhou Sheng said indifferently, “Remember what we did for Liang Laoshi's dream?”

Chen Yekai said, “I remember, but Ou Qihang might not necessarily dream of me.”

“Try again?” Zhou Sheng said casually.

Yu Hao looked at the two of them curiously. Since they managed to enter Liang Jinmin's subconscious, it proved that Chen Yekai and Zhou Sheng had discovered some kind of law that the Golden Crow Wheel operated on, but neither of them had ever told him. If they want to unlock the secrets of the Golden Crow Wheel in the future, Chen Yekai may be of great help to them.

Yu Hao didn't say anything as he watched them operate.

“I've always thought that I was the only one who could operate it, but Yu Hao managed to obtain its approval later on. Maybe……wu.”

“From the developmental trajectory of the ancient Shu civilisation, we can deduce that the priests who used the Golden Crow Wheel did it in pairs, so that shouldn't be wrong. Chen Yekai walked to the edge of the platform at the apex of the pyramid and said, “But I'm not familiar with him, so it won't be like the time with Liang Laoshi. There's no key 'token'.”

“There's a Rubik's cube,” Zhou Sheng said, “He gave it to Yu Hao.”

“That's of no use.” Chen Yekai said, “Yu Hao can enter using the 'token', but I can't. However, since he liked Yu Hao before, perhaps Yu Hao has already obtained the right to enter his dream in the first place.”

Chen Yekai and Zhou Sheng were both thinking about it. Yu Hao said, “Come in for a cup of coffee ba.” So the two of them went over and sat on both sides of the table, silently watching Yu Hao brew coffee.

“Why don't you guys enter first?” Chen Yekai said, “I'll keep thinking about it.”

“Wait.” Zhou Sheng accepted the coffee that Yu Hao handed over and seemed to have thought of something, “What did Ou Qihang get Huang Ting to deliver to us? A seal!”

Chen Yekai immediately got up and walked quickly to the platform. Yu Hao said, “Would that be useful? This represents that his totem was……”

A glimmering wooden seal was suspended in mid air in his palm, then the seal turned into flickering light particles that elongated. Chen Yekai made a gesture with both his hands like he was holding something, emulating the posture of holding elephant tusks like the Sanxingdui bronze man when it was offering a sacrifice.

In the next moment, right in his hands, countless light particles shot towards the scorching sun in the sky! A strange connection was established!
