"I have decided that we will continue the clearing of zombies and won't stop until the hotel is cleared" Matt stated

"What? But we can't go on like this everyone is hungry and exhausted as well" Paul stated.

"I know and that's why I want everyone to continue so that when all of you become fully exhausted than you will be able to gain ability like Ethan and the others after eating the black bears meat that I have" Matt explained.

"That's great idea! But I don't think that father will be able to keep up for the remaining floors" Paul said.

"Hmnp! Speak for yourselves I am not so weak that I would be burden just yet" stated Jonathan.

"That's great then, you won't have to worry about anything else. I will be there if anything goes wrong and you can't keep up to help you through it" Matt said

"Then let's keep going I want to see what exciting ability I could get" Paul said with a smile.

Matt turned to see that everyone was standing up holding their fire axe ready to move on, so without any further waiting they started to move. But unlike before their speed was slow and they weren't able to deal with the zombies as much as before. Most of them were personally taken care of by Ethan, Mike and Matt though they only moved when the lives of others were in danger. Ethan and Mike were still good as they moved before the zombies get to close to others though Matt on the other hand moved only when the zombies were inches away from them and for that Matt even used his ability to teleport few times.

By the time they reached the ground floor everyone except Matt was fully exhausted. Even Ethan and Mike as they had to be extra cautious to make sure that everyone was safe.

All of them were laying or sitting on the floor breathing heavily as sweat dripped from their body. There clothes were damp from sweat but they didn't even cared about it and were busy with inhaling large amount of air.

"I know you all are exhausted so I won't say much just know that I am happy that you all continued till the end. Here eat these pieces of meat, I am sure that you all will be able to gain some ability." Matt stated as he pa.s.ses a chunk of meat to everyone of them including Mike and Ethan.

Matt himself ate a chunk of meat himself even though he knew it won't be any help to him but since he was hungry as well and the meat was really tasty he helped himself.

Matt didn't have to wait for long as the moment he finished the meat, he saw Paul standing up with his eyes sparkling.

"So what ability did you got?" Matt asked

"Hehehe..." Paul laughed and instead of answering he showed his ability to Matt.

The fire axe of Paul that was laying on the ground started to float in front of him twisted in the air with a simple raise of his hand.

"I got telekinesis!" Paul stated with smile and continued to float the axe around himself for sometime before it fell on the ground along with Paul who was holding his head.

"Looks like your limit is same as Ethan a minute. But I think if you control more than a single object with this ability of yours than your effective time will decrease. For now sit cross leg and meditate. It will help in regaining your spirit fast." Matt stated.

Paul who was already on the ground listened to Matt and did as he asked while Jacob, Wade and Jonathan had also stood up. Though none of them looked happy to him.

"What happened? Did the three of you not gained any ability?" asked Matt in surprised after seeing their expression as he didn't think it was possible to that someone would not gain any ability after what they went through.

"No, I did gained an ability" Jonathan said.

"So did I!" Jacob said

"Me too" added Wade

"Then why are you looking like that?" asked Matt

"Because my ability isn't going to be that much helpful" Jacob stated and then stomped his feet on the ground causing the whole hotel to shake a little, "I can create earth quake of this magnitude 5 times but if you want me to increase the magnitude the number of times I can do that will decrease accordingly"

"That is a great ability! Why do you think it's bad?" Matt stated.

"How will it help when we fight against zombies?" asked Jacob

"Well inside the hotel it's not helpful but we won't be staying here permanently and will have to go out and in the outside world this ability of yours will be helpful if your earthquake can go to level 5 Magnitude even once then we won't have to worry about getting caught by zombies" Matt explained

"Level 5 Magnitude!?That's too much I can't do that all I am capable of is 3.5 at most after that I will lose my ability to move just like Paul" stated Jacob.

"That's fine as well. These zombies walk while stumbling so they will fall on the ground after getting the taste of a 3.5 Magnitudes earthquake and it isn't like your abilities won't grow just like mine and Susan, your ability will grow as well" stated Matt

Jacob felt better after hearing Matt's words and finally smiled, seeing which Matt nodded his head then turned to look at Wade and asked "What ability did you got?"

"Healing" replied Wade

"Healing!? That's a great ability why do you look so sad about it. Do you know much helpful your ability to heal will be to us" stated Matt.

"It's not that healing! I can heal myself from any injury" explained Wade as he picked up his fire axe gave a small cut to himself on his finger and showed it to Matt.

Matt saw how the cut was healed and the there wasn't even a scratch left from his earlier cut seeing which Matt couldn't help but smile.

Seeing that brad smile on Matt's face Wade's face started to twitch as he already knew what Matt was thinking about.

"It really suits you!"
