After storing every gem in his inventory Matt and ethan walked back towards the elevator and reached back to their floor.

When the two of them came out of the elevator, they say every dead zombies head was split opened. Seeing which Matt was happy as he knew that Mike completed the task that he gave to him.

"Just a minute" said Matt to Ethan as he walked towards his Grizzly bear who was lying on the floor as his stomach was full after eating many zombies meat.

"I will be saving these zombies bodies for you, so do't worry and take a rest" said Matt as he scratched behind the Grizzly bear's ear.

"Gggrraa..." came the noise from the Grizzly bears mouth which matt uderstood was the Ok from the bear.

Matt stored the dead bodies of the zombies and ther heads in his inventory but even so the foul toxic smell didn't stopped and Matt knew that it won't go and that they would need to find a different room on a different floor to live.

*knock knock* Ethan knocked on the door as Matt stored all the bodies in the inventory annd came back.

"Ethan! Why are you knocking? We have the master card of the hotel so instead of knocking we can just open the door to enter" Matt said as he took out the Mster card, swiped it on the door handle and opened the door.

"When the door was opened the two of them saw Mike standing in front of them with his axe in his hand raised above his head.

"What the-" Ethan was surprised and almost cursed when he saw Mike raising hs axe in front of them but then controlled himself as he stood behind Matt.

"What's with that reaction!?" asked Matt.

"You tell me! First someone knocks at your door and when you reach the door to check on that person, the door opened on its own. For a second I thought that some zombie entered the door" Mike said.

"Oh! That was me just trying the master card that's all" Matt said as he showed the master card to Mike.

"That's great now we can go and start searching for room! I have tpo tell you that the smell has already started to spread and the others are trying really hard to not let it affect them" Mike said.

"Yeah we can!By the way I am proud of you. I saw that you splitted open the head of all the zombies in the floor" Matt said.

"I had to as I didn't thought for a second that it was becoming easy anytime soon" Mike said.

"OK! Let's go inside and tell everyoe the good news." Matt said as they waled into the living room.

"'Matt's back"" said Sarah and Susan at once when they saw him walk in with Mike and Ethan.

"Oh son" Maria called as she ran and hugged him tightly, "I am so happy that you are safe"

"Mom, you worry too much nothigs gnna happen to me! If something happened then who will take care of you and dad, I don't trust Mary with you" Matt joked a litte so that his mom would lose the tension.

"What!? You little-" Mary heard what Matt said and wanted to argue when Paul stopped him as he pointed at her Mom who was smiling right now.

Ethan seeing that they were having a family moment stepped away from them and started to walk towards the washroom to wash himself when someone grabbed his hand.

Ethan turned his head to see it was Matt's mom who was looking at him while smiling, "I am glad that you came back safe and sound as well"

Ethan was surprised to hear that as he never thought someone here would care if he died or stayed alive as no one here knew him.

Ethan felt a little bit emotional and said "Thank you" before he ran into the washroom to clean his face as well.

"So, if there is nothing else that after Mike and Ethan are ready we are going to start searching a room for everyone" Matt said.

"Matt! Before that I wanted to tell you something!" Mike said.

"Yeah! what is it?" asked Matt.

"While I was outside someone was crying for help from Room no. 110 and your bear reacted to it and was ready to attack but then he stopped and just stood there while glaring at the door. He didn't even let me come close to it." Mike said

"Room 110! Are you sure?" Matt questioned

"Yes I am" Mike said nodding his head.

'Room 110 belongs to those two old men who entered back to there room the moment I warned about zombies and I know that none of two of them transformed so why cry for help now. Even if they had their family inside and some of them became zombies then they shouldn't be asking for help right now' thought Matt.

"Should we take a look!" Mike said.

"What will we even do by taking a look!? They most probably dead- no zombified by now" Matt said

"Matt!" Mary exclaimed, "Is there a need to be so negative!"

"I am not being negative sis it's just reality. In the apocalypse you won't find many people who go out of their way to save others as the most important thing for them is there safety and thier families safety. Why would they care about some strangers?" Matt said

Matt's words were right but Sarah knew that he wasn't among those who wouldn't help a strager if he could, she and her dauther were the living proof that he was one of the mens who will try to save others.

The others after hearing Matt's words returned back to reality that they weren't living in the same system anymore. The moment the apocalypse started it became a lawless world were everyone cared about themselves. It was only because of Matt that they haven't seen that horror for themselves.

"*sigh* Though after saying all that I will still check on that room to see if anyone is alive there or not"
