[Host has completed the First Mission - Prepare a survival plan (Mission Accomplished)

"Wh-What is this!?" asked Matt to himself as he saw a blue interface appear in front of his eyes.

[Survival System- A system which is attached to the host and will help him in surviving the apocalypse]

"Survival System!!?? Is this an ability as well!! But I haven't eaten any mutant animals meat so how can I have this!" thought Matt.

[Survival System is a unique ability that came to the host when he traveled to the past, it's job is to help the host to increase his strength so that he could survive the Apocalypse with people he wants to save]

The voice of the system straight away entered in his ears explaining about the system.

"Then how can you help me system!?" asked Matt.

[The Survival System has 4 Main features - Status, Mission, Inventory and Ability Generator.

Status have the following features - Strength, Agility, Vitality, Spirit and Ability which can be increased by training or survival points.

Missions - As the name suggests it allocates missions to host which if the host successfully accomplishes will earn him survival points which can be used to increase any of his features.

Inventory - Self explanatory Allows the host to place goods in a separate s.p.a.ce.

Ability Generator -A special feature of System which has all the abilities in it, which will belong to host after performing the tasks a.s.sign to it]

"My G.o.d!! With this will I have to worry about not being able to survive" said Matt after hearing the explanation from the system, "Let's have look at my Strength and Agility!"

"System show me my Status!" said Matt and his status appeared in front of him.

"I don't know if it's bad or good! What's the average points for human" asked Matt

[All features having 10 is the average of a human] rang the systems voice.

"Ok, then I am stronger then average human in all features except spirit, System! What is the spirit used for!" asked Matt.

[Spirit is needed for the sake of using an Ability, the higher your spirit is the stronger your ability becomes]

"OK, I understand then show me the Ability Generator" stated Matt.

"F*ck!! So many abilities and I can have all of them after performing the tasks a.s.sign to them" Matt couldn't help but curse out loud as in his previous life he had already become a fighter and couldn't have a single ability.

It was only found out later on that after eating the meat of Mutated animal one would be able to gain an ability but those who have already became a fighter after eating the gel which was found in the head of a Zombie couldn't gain an ability, hence Matt also wasn't able to gain an ability as well, on the other hand an ability user can also become a fighter after eating the gel but not the other way around but even then it wasn't necessary that one would have gained an ability as only 1 in a 100 people gains an ability. But now he has the chance to gain not only one but as many abilities as he wants.

[Please keep in mind host that the more abilities you have the harder the task becomes to gain other abilities, but it is only when you have gained the abilities from the system that it would be counted and the ones you gain from eating the meat won't be included. So choose your first ability with caution, if the ability is rare then the task will be appropriately a.s.signed]

"OK, then I will choose Teleportation! With this I will be able to reach anywhere I want. At least i won't be getting ambushed with this ability." said Matt.

"d.a.m.n.... 10 Level 1 mutated animals isn't an easy task, I need to be at least a Soldier Cla.s.s to be able to complete this task" Matt mumbled.

"But the ability of Teleportation is really rare that's why even though it's my first task it's such a difficult one. If I can increase my Status then i would be able to successfully complete the mission." Matt thought, "System show me the Missions"

"The mission about Zombies is currently not possible so I will have to complete the missions of Killing the mutated animals. Who knows I may be able to complete the task with that as well" Matt thought.

"OK, since I have decided to complete the mission to Kill mutated animals, so I need weapons for that" Matt said as he picked up his jacket, his phone and purse to go out of the university to look for a store for edged weapons or any store which sells guns and ammunition.

Making his way out of university, Matt decided to take out some cash first then go to a store he remembered from his past.

Looking at his watch it was still early in the afternoon 12:30 pm so he went to the atm and took out some cash. Almost half an hour later he was standing in front of a big shop which was named as 'Carl's Edge'. Since the guns, rifles and other such weapons made a lot of noise the fighter cla.s.s started using knives, matchets and such cause of which Carl's Edge became famous for them, Matt knew that if he wants a good weapon then it can be found from here only.

Entering the store he walked towards the reception table and pointed at the picture of a Gurkha Kukri shown in their catalogue "I want this Kukri"
