Sea of Clouds Prison Heart 雲海囚心 - Chapter 10

After his eyes recovered, he always waited for Ye Qing Yun to fulfill his promise to tell him---his past. But it seemed like Ye Qing Yun already forgot, or else Ye Qing Yun intentionally avoiding this topic....

Actually he didn't give any hope anymore to get the answer from Ye Qing Yun, If Ye Qing Yun wanted to, he would tell, if he didn't want to, no one could force him.

Instead of having high hope from Ye Qing Yun, it would be more realistic if he could regain his memories by himself, but only those pieces of memory that remained in his mind, he tried so hard to flip his memories, but no progress at all.

Today the village got a visit invitation from a guest, that person said he was Second master's friend, after knowing Second Master came back, he hurriedly asked the subordinate to invite the Second master to meet him.

After hearing this news he couldn't help but wondering and got a little excited. This was the first time that there was someone who knew his "old self" came to find him, this has never happened before, was it really no one asking to meet him or they all were being blocked by Ye Qing Yun.

After remembering Ye Qing Yun, he asked the subordinates where Ye Qing Yun was, the subordinate answered, the Big Master and court heads went out to do 'business'. Only then he did realize, because Ye Qing Yun went out, the subordinates couldn't make any decision, that's why they told him this matter.

He stood up and tidied up his clothes," Take me to meet him."

He ordered the subordinates if Ye Qing Yun asked his whereabouts, just said he felt bored and walked around the town, and then he followed the subordinate who sent the message to walk out from the village.

Su Ye village built by the mountain, yet he followed the man to cross the waterway and got to an island.

The island was misty, strange plants and stones were everywhere, like a fairyland.

He was led to an octagonal pavilion, a man sat in front of the stone table in the pavillion, white satin plain robe, long hair, that person was silently preparing and enjoying the tea.

Hearing sound, he turned around, the breeze pa.s.sed through his ears, through the faint mist, that person's face slowly became clear.

He was searching from the memories in his head, but no trace of this person, that person just smiled and no talking, only showing 'please sit' gesture.

He also didn't hesitate, walked over and sat down.

"Mister, the person taking me here was saying that you're my old friend, but months ago i got injured, and have memory lost, please forgive me for the rudeness."

That person showed a slight smile, holding up a purple sopper kettle on the stove, the pose was so elegant, and then put a gla.s.s of tea in front of him.

"Me, Yin Feng and Qing Yun were childhood friends, we have deep bonds, but...." Even though that person was smiling, but the eyes showed coldness," But i never recognize you."

There was a loud sound in his head, he stunned there for a long while. His hand was trembling so hard, he looked straightly at the eyes of the man sitting in front of him," You didn't lie to me?"

"I don't have any reason, why should i lie to you?"

"Luo Yin Feng really is another person?"

"Indeed, even if the last time i met him already a few years ago, but Yin Feng was born with a good body for martial arts, born chic and elegant, it's totally different with your gentle look."

He looked down and thought, then grabbed the edge of the table and leaned slightly," Then do you know who i am?"

That person held the teacup in front of him, removing the tea leaves aside by using the lid, took a sip, then said," I don't know."

He looked a little sad, although he had that doubt, but after he knew the truth, he got a complicated feeling inside his heart.

He felt lost, confused, and a little bit scared.

He pondered for a while, and tried to cheer himself up, he took a sip of the tea from the table, slowly said," Good tea!" When he looked up, he saw that person's face showing some interest in him and started to pay attention to him.

He nodded and smiled," I've been drinking mister's tea, so i can be considered acquaintance already, how do i call you?"

That person's indifferent expression slowly opened up, said," My name is Shang Guan Lan Rong, i am the head of this island.

"Nice to know you." Then he bitterly laughed at himself," But i really don't remember my name, if Mr. Shang Guan doesn't mind, temporarily called me Yin Feng is fine, name is only used for people to call, have no any meaning."

Shang Guan smiled," After talking with you, i probably understand why Qing Yun willingly treat you as 'Yin Feng' and keep you there."

He put down the teacup, sincerely looked at him.

Shang Guan Lan Rong slightly stunned, and then said," When i heard that the Second Master of Su Ye Village came back, i already know that this person must not be the real Luo Yin Feng, because the real Luo Yin Feng absolutely won't come back to Su Ye Village anymore. And i intentionally invite you to come when Ye Qing Yun is not around, because i got curious of this 'Subst.i.tute'...."

"Then why you don't you leak the truth in front of Ye Qing Yun, yet  secretly meeting with me?"

"I think you should already know Qing Yun's temper, actually outside of the village, not many people know your existence, obviously, Qing Yun doesnt's want too many people to know. If i leak the truth in front of him, maybe i can't sit here in peace and talk to you while enjoying the tea."

He examined Shang Guan Lan Rong's words, that's why these few months no one ever came to look for him .... because he was not Luo Yin Feng at all!

But, why did Ye Qing Yun do this? or just like the subordinates said, because Lady Su Ye went crazy, so treat him like 'Luo Yin Feng', that's why he continued to keep him beside for comforting Lady Su Ye.

Yet, Ye Qing Yun seemed to treat him too good for a subst.i.tute like him, heal him, also help to make his eyes recover, even as long as what he said, Ye Qing Yun seemed to almost --- undergoing it.

He was stuck in his thought, being called out 'Yin Feng' for several times by Shang Guan, he suddenly back from his wandering mind. Shang Guan Lan Rong seemed to see that he was wondering something, and said," I also don't know what is Qing Yun's purpose of doing this, you also know, Lady Su Ye went crazy, it's more troublesome when she relapse, if you could comfort her, Ye Qing Yun keeping you is not because no reason at all, anyway you got amnesia, have no effect for the village." After finish talking, he stopped, slightly talked with dignified expression," I think Ye Qing Yun won't hurt you, but i still need to tell you some matters."

"Please tell."

"Although Qing yun and Yin Feng are brothers.....but the way Qing Yun treated his cousin seems not like the way of a normal brotherhood should be...."
