Chapter 3.1: Fairies of the World

In his sleep, Tang Qing had a dream. In the dream, he was lying on his back on a chair, enjoying the sunlight as he bathed under the warm rays of sun while drinking wine and listening to a small tune. This had always been his dream, and now that he had awoken, he was ready to realize it.

Opening his hazy eyes, he saw a face as beautiful as the autumn moon, a face that oppresses others. Only on such a perfect face was a pair of beautiful eyes filled with anger. Seeing Tang Qing awaken the anger that had instantly disappeared from her face was replaced with a mischievous and evil smile.

Tang Qing was surprised. He could see that this was a cave dwelling, and the cave dwelling was enveloped in an array formation that encompa.s.sed everything. “Hey! Tang Qing, on the way here, I originally wanted to ask you where you want to go, but unfortunately, you fell asleep and I didn't have the heart to wake you up, so I brought you to this place first.” Shangguan Ling explained naturally, just like he had.

Tang Qing casually took a glance and discovered that there were a few scrolls of ancient books inside which should be the study. He was not interested in these things, but a painting on the desk caught his attention.

It was a picture of a starry sky outlined with black lines. In the night sky, the stars were bright, the mysterious Three Houses of the Stars, the mysterious might of the four elephants, the mysterious constellations… This painting seemed ordinary, but the concept within it was hard for an ordinary person to understand.

The reason this painting attracted Tang Qing's attention was not because it was incomplete, nor was it a profound concept, but because it looked very familiar. When he walked in and carefully examined it, he was almost certain that this painting was the one he had drawn back then. He still vaguely remembered when he played chess with his old friend and lost, so he chose this painting as a wager and lost it to his old friend. However, why was this painting here? And it was broken into two?

“Was that the painting you touched just now?”

“Do you know that this is Sister Mo's most beloved and treasured painting? Do you know how precious this painting is? You actually dare to touch it on your own, I think you must be tired of living! ”

“It's just a painting,” Tang Qing explained, “I won't touch it.”

You actually said that it's just a painting, you truly do not know what's good for you! ”
