4.5 Their Story

The golden-haired kid stared atme with a grin onhis face.

Normally, Id just have killed actually, no. Normally, Id just have beat him up really badly.

ButI cant do anything. Was it becausehe was a descendant of the Emperor? No. Not eventhe emperors sons would dare do anything to me. The problem lies inthe fact thatthis kid is supposed to kill the demon king.

Im not talking about any normal demon king either. Im talking about the one thats an actual danger to the world.

See, this world actually has three different types of demon kings.

First, the demon king.

The king of the demon race.

Of course, there arent many demon tribes thatgot together to form an actual country, butthere are several demon nations out there.

Second, the demon king.

The spelling andpronunciation of it is no different from the first one, butthis is supposed to be the ruler of demons sent by the Evil God.

These demon kings are bestowed with major blessings from the Evil God. The ones thatmanage to survive the blessings go onto become the demon king.

Unlike the excalibur, whereyou could just leave ifyou failed, the blessing would kill you ifyou failed. Ifyou didnt die, youd become king.

Third, the demon king.

Again, written andpronounced the same.

Butits different from the other two.

This demon king fights humans, buttrades with them aswell.

This is the same forhumans. They fight each other, then trade with each other.

Inother words, the this demon king isnt friendly orevil, butneutral. The only thing different about the demon king compared to the human king would be his race.

The second kind of demon kings are mythical beings, just like the excalibur.

The one thatwould unite all the demons inthe world. It might aswell be called an emperor.

This is actually a bad thing forus humans. Why? Becausein the myths regarding this demon king, it is said thatthis particular one would bring humans to ruin.

Butthe last kind of demon king is different.

Its basically a final boss thatwould take inall the evil inthe world, andbring the world to ruin.

Ifthe last demon king was the king of the demon race, this one is the king of all demonic evils. Many say thatthis thing is just a myth, butI know fora fact thatit is real. I know thatit would appear inthis world soon aswell.

I also happen to know thatthe annoying kid infront of me would have to fight the demon king aswell.

Im actually a proph actually, no. The reason whyI know this is I read about it.

Mm, I read it. I read it from a novel. From a different world.

I can still remember thattime whenI bought the novel. I thought it was a romance novel andgot all excited about it, butit turned out to be a fantasy novel. I was still pretty excited about reading it, butthe main character turned out to be an extremely kind idiot with super chuuni skills. I actually named it asone of the forbidden texts a long time ago, andonly read it wheneverI got really bored.

The main character of thatnovel activated a forbidden skill whilefighting the demon king, swore athis author, whohadnt been writing anything forover two years, then died.

So by making use of the tidbits of information the author put inthe novel, I managed to get all the mystical treasures the villains were supposed to get. Then, I beat up the previous Sword Saint with a Orihalcon Sword, andbecame the current Sword Saint thoughI thought I was helping the world become peaceful by doing that

I lost my status asa great Sword Saint becauseof thatdisgusting weapon, soI tried to take out some of my stress butthat damn kid suddenly got inmy way!

The strange thing is, Raina Rel Swin isnt supposed to be such an arrogant bastard. Hes doing this precisely becausehe knows I cant kill him.

Come to think of it, theres quite a lot of strange points inthe current storyline. First, theres the imperial princess whosent me here beforeanyone else did. She was supposed to have died already inthe battle forthe throne.

Butshes alive. The person whokilled her was supposed to have died already aswell, butbecausethe imperial princess is alive, hes alive aswell. Infact, he somehow managed to enter a strange evil organization forsome reason.

No, beforethat, this Nermia kid right here should be inthe Mages Tower right nowbeing lauded asa genius around this time, according to the normal storyline.

No, beforethat, a weapon thats capable of neutralizing a Sword Saint like me destroys the balance of the novel completely! Ive never seen anything like thatinthe novel!

The main character flinched whenI glared athim, buthe doesnt lose his smile Isnt this thing supposed to be a novel? The main character was supposed to be a kind idiot whodidnt evenseem to have a penis He wasnt like this inthe novel!

Somethings wrong with the story. All the things inthis world matches up with the things inthe novel, butsomething seems to have changed recently. I thought thatsomeone else had read the novel like me, but things are too quiet. No one else other thanme touched items thatappeared inthe novel asof yet.

Everythings going along according to the plot, butall the main characters are a little strange.

Take this.

I threw an envelope atthe old man whobeat me mercilessly. Thatenvelope was something the princess wrote, andits currently taking over the entire imperial court.

Shes not really doing anything out inthe open asof yet, butshes raising the crown prince really well. By the time thatman becomes king, shed have quite a bit of power inher hands.

The people whoare supposed to have died are taking over the country

I tried to imitate the person whowas actually supposed to be the sword saint asmuchaspossible to keep the story consistent. Sowhat went wrong? The story isnt flowing right. Andbecauseof that, I have to suffer

Ha, just look athis cold voice. Thatkind of a voice only looks cool whena handsome boy ina reverse harem does it ifan old man like thatdoes it mm it actually fits. He looks like a type of guy whobeats the main character to hell, butsecretly cares about the main character. Kind of like a person whod appear ina book genre thatstarts with a B andends with an L?

Im actually not into stuff like that, solets just sweep what I said under the rug.

Looking athow his face scrunched up afteropening the envelope, Im guessing the princess wrote a bunch of offensive stuff again. Shes pretty crazy, you see. Come to think of it, the crown prince is pretty weird too Asexpected talented people are all weird. Except me, of course.
