Naruan looked over the group ashe thought this, andmade a serious face.

The school will participate inseveral events inthe near future, starting from the empires festival, to the sports competition andthe cultural competition.

And a whileago, the schools decided thatwe would hold all of these events inone day.

So thats what ended up happening.

Naruan nodded asifhe had expected this. Normally, the sports competition began a few weeks afterthe festival, andthe cultural competition would start a few months afterthe sports competition.

Sincethese were events hosted by the four biggest schools inthe empire, many people attended, butdue to the dates inwhich these events happen, there were lots of complaints about how spread apart these dates were. Using this, Naruan managed to persuade the other schools to host the competitions all inone day.

Honestly though, its becauseof the money

Asmentioned before, the budget of the school was running low. Especially last time, whenprofessor Maroon decided to go berserk onthe first floor, the school actually came close to becoming bankrupt.

Naruan, whomanaged to see this illusion due to the energy these students were giving off infront of him, realized thatperhaps a miracle would happen.

It was an impossible to win all three competitions.

There were schools thatwere traditionally strong incertain competitions. Mercaria was overbearing inthe cultural competition, Marcis overtook everyone inthe festival, andArucia dominated inthe sports competition.

The sports competition was usually won by Arucia, asthe students there were all muscle-brains. Andthe second place goes to Yugrasia well, thatwas what was supposed to happen, butthe summoners school was being overtaken by Marcis forsome strange reason.

Normally, one would think thatwizards were frail little people whoexperimented all day long intheir towers. Afterall, these were the people whocrafted things like potions andexperimented with alchemy.

Then how do they make potions, andhow do they experiment?! They create magic formations! is not what actually happens. Inreality, they put inall the ingredients into a pot, andthey stir it. They stir it good. Theyd finish in5 minutes ifit was short, butthis stirring process could take up to half a day.

Stir stir stir stir. This stirring was what characterized these beings called wizards! Plus, there was their staff aswell! People often think staves would be pretty light,since it was made of wood, butwood actually weighs quite a bit. Not only that, the kind of wood thatare used to make staves out of are evenweightier thannormal wood.

Expensive staves usually have formations onit thatlighten the load, butthose really are expensive. It seems like a lot of rich families would buy these staves, butthat isnt the case atall. This is becausealot of wizards actually came from peasant families!

It was impossible to win against a noble knight whotrained sincea young age, butit was possible to overtake a noble wizard asa peasant to earn a huge amount of cash.

Butof course, it was impossible forthese peasant wizards to start earning right from the start. Becauseof this, these students train with cheap, heavy staves, andwhen they become high-class wizards, they dont bother getting a lighter staff sincethey already got used to the heavy weight.

Therefor, due to the fact thatthese student wizards train their strength whetherthey like it ornot, they become able to overtake students from Yugrasia.

Andsecond, there was the festival. Many of the powerful individuals come to watch, andit is said thateventhe imperial family comes to enjoy the event aswell. Becauseof this, all of the schools focus onmaking themselves look dazzling infront of these people.

They had to dazzle the imperial family, whosaw amazing things almost daily! Becauseof this, Marcis usually took first place inthese competitions, and the second place unexpectedly went to Arucia.

One would think thatYugrasia would be able to take second place easily using their summons, butthe summoners school was never able to defeat Arucias sword fights.

Arucia just showed several students fighting ona training field, butforsome reason, this got people extremely excited. Andthe death matches the school hosted onthe last day was quite a sight to see! It was said thatevenMarcis got almost shaken off their throne ona day like this.

The school would host a survival match using all the students inthe school. This event wherethe students got teleported into the dark forest to fight showcased a fight more intense thanany other. The winning student was evensaid to be scouted by the imperial knights.

Andlastly, there was the cultural competition. This was a competition to show what the school was like better thanany other. Mercaria took the top spot inthis all the time. Ifit wasnt forthe fact thatArucia was full of idiots, Yugrasia wouldve failed to eventake the third place. This was becausemany people thought thattheyd much rather take a look atMarcia instead of looking atYugrasia.

Precisely becauseof this, Yugrasia always aimed to get second place inthese competitions. They were satisfied with getting third place. Afterall, this was typical, andthis was logical.

Butin the auditorium, these students responded like hungry wolves towards Nerkias speech.

These are just maggots thatstay inschool for5-6 hours. Marcia? They just live andexperiment intheir school? Its like home there, isnt it? They just study forlike two hours each day? Andthey live like they do nowwhenthey get into the magic towers? Mercaria? Studying forthe longest time out of all the schools? Dont kid me. How many of them come to school during vacation? And. Arucia? Ha. Ha. Ha. Dont evenget me started onthose faggots inheaven. Now, I ask of you, comrades. How many idiots are there here whothinks thatwe cant win?

Nerkia listened to these shouts fora bit, then silenced the entire crowd just by saying quiet.

Onceagain, cries like thatof wolves came out. It was a cry thatmostly came from the third years. Butthis cry of determination andconfidence instilled a feeling of victory over the first, andthe second years.

Because of this, we will nowstart training forthe rest of vacation. Andthis training will help us get to know our strengths andweaknesses better!
