While he's carefully looking at his left and right, a small ball of light emerged out of thin air before his face, and a red glowing sword rushed to him, which greatly surprised him. Then, without a second thought, he immediately activated his speed booster.

Then, he hastily leaped backward, dodging the thrusting sword that also brought a strong shockwave, hitting his face, forcing him to close his eyes, as his hair flapped wildly with the strong wind.

Victor who's far behind Kim s.h.i.+n also began to feel the seriousness of the situation. Since the opponent's ability is unknown to them, and he might die at any moment if he didn't stay vigilant.

Then, while he's cautiously observing his surroundings, he suddenly heard a familiar voice in his head. 'Old man, take care of yourself and be prepared to shoot any skill under your sleeves.'

'EH?! Kim s.h.i.+n?!' Victor exclaimed in his mind.

Then, while they are conversing in their minds, the ball of white light suddenly appeared behind Kim s.h.i.+n with the same red glowing sword thrusting forward.

'Let's see if you can run this time!' Kim s.h.i.+n thought when he felt the incoming sword attack directing to his head. Alas, before the sword could pierce him, he slightly bent his knees and tilted his head to the left, causing the glowing sword to missed and pa.s.sed him.

Then, without any hesitation, Kim s.h.i.+n grabbed the arm of the white-haired man that also appeared out of the ball of white light, and without any effort, he forcefully pulled the white-haired man's right hand, and then mightily slammed the surprised man on the ground.

"Ugh!" The white-haired man groaned in pain, after being slammed on the ground, causing a loud sound and crater around him with dust clouds.

The white-haired man coughed a mouthful of blood and smiled to Kim s.h.i.+n who's looking down on him. Then, he said. "Hehehe. You're truly powerful!"

"Psycho!" Kim s.h.i.+n uttered as he gripped his sword with both hands, raising it over his head, and furiously slash down on the lying white-haired man.

Seeing this, the white-haired man hurriedly rolled over to dodge Kim s.h.i.+n's attack.

BOOM! Crack~

The ground shook, as Kim s.h.i.+n's sword pierced deeply in the ground, making him clicked his tongue in frustration. "Tsk!"

"Hohoho. You're impatient huh?!" The white-haired man smugly said. Then, he continued. "Don't be full of yourself yet! You can't kill me with this little damage. Hehehehe"

Kim s.h.i.+n kept his mouth shut, and instead of replying, he began to dash forward with amazing speed.

Kim s.h.i.+n instantly appeared before the crazy man, causing the man to raise his eyebrows in shock. 'Too fast!'

As, he reached the white-haired man, Kim s.h.i.+n, didn't think twice and slashed down his sword, slas.h.i.+ng his opponent from left shoulder to the right flank without any difficulty.

"Yes! You did it, young man!" Victor exclaimed happily after witnessing Kim s.h.i.+n able to slice the white-haired man easily.

However, despite successfully slas.h.i.+ng his opponent, Kim s.h.i.+n felt something wrong. As if, he cut the air.

Then, the slashed man at his front suddenly dispersed in the air, causing Kim s.h.i.+n to knit his brows as he scrutinized his surroundings.

"Hehehe. You almost got me there." A creepy laughed filled the surrounding. Causing Victor who's celebrating to s.h.i.+dder in fear.

"H-How?" Victor stutteringly exclaimed. He couldn't believe in the situation. He thought that Kim s.h.i.+n already got the white-haired man. However, he was utterly mistaken.

"Since you guys wanted to play with me that bad. Then, I won't hold back. Hehehehe"

After saying those words, the white-haired man materialized 10-meters before Kim s.h.i.+n. He then pointed his left index finger to Kim s.h.i.+n and said as he laughed. "I will kill you first! Hehehe."

Kim s.h.i.+n didn't care about the man's words. He just kept his poker face. However, deep inside, he is actually quite wary about the white-haired man's abilities. He didn't know what kind of skills does this man have.

Then, after that, electrifying light aura appeared out of the white-haired man's entire body, causing his white hair blew up and down.

Shockwaves occurred as the white-haired man aura erupted, causing a wide crater around him.

"Hahaha! Witness the power that my uncles gave to me before they pa.s.sed away!" The white-haired man c.o.c.kily said as his sword also engulfed by the electrifying light aura.

"I, Clay Dawson, will kill you all criminals in the name of justice!!! Hehehehe"

'Clay Dawson?' Kim s.h.i.+n thought after he heard the white-haired man declaration.

Clay immediately bolted towards Kim s.h.i.+n, with amazing speed, causing Kim s.h.i.+n to stared in amazement.

'He became faster…' He thought when he found that Clay's speed is faster compared earlier. Then, Clay eventually appeared before Kim s.h.i.+n and said with a smile. "Die!" He then powerfully swung down his sword towards Kim s.h.i.+n's head.

Alas, even with Clay's current speed, Kim s.h.i.+n agility was still on another level, with just a simple maneuver, Kim s.h.i.+n instantly appeared behind Clay. Then, without hesitation, Kim s.h.i.+n thrust his sword to the left side of Clay's back.

However, before his sword could land a hit, Clay suddenly turned to a ball of light, dodging Kim s.h.i.+n's strike.

'd.a.m.n!' Kim s.h.i.+n swore in his mind in frustration, seeing his attack missed his target once again,

"Hehehe…" A creepy laughed resound behind him, causing Kim s.h.i.+n to hastily spun around as he swung his sword.

However, Clay wasn't there and Kim s.h.i.+n hit nothing but empty air.

"Hehehe. I was scared for a few moments there. Hehehehe." Clay's creepy voice filled the surroundings once again.

'This can't continue! I need to find a way to interrupt or cancel this man's skill…' Kim s.h.i.+n thought, realizing that he wouldn't be able to kill this man if this continued.

'I need something that could stop that man from turning to a ball of light…'

While he's thinking a way to kill his opponent, his enemy didn't idle anymore. Clay appeared once again before Kim s.h.i.+n,

"Don't try to run from your crime! Hehehe!" Clay said hysterically while his red eyes glowed sharply as he swung his sword down to Kim s.h.i.+n's left shoulder.

However, Kim s.h.i.+n already predicted this, without any hesitation, he strongly jumped backward, creating a large distance between them. Even so, Clay didn't stop his a.s.sault, he suddenly emerged out behind Kim s.h.i.+n.

's.h.i.+t!' Kim s.h.i.+n cursed internally when he felt Clay's presence behind him.

"You can't dodge this time! Hehehehehe." Clay spoke and wickedly laughed. He then took the opportunity to thrust Kim s.h.i.+n's back to the heart.

Clay vomited blood as he looked with wide eyes on the sword that pierced out of his chest.

"N-No way! I-I can't die… Cough!" Clay weakly uttered as he coughed in pain and dropped his knees on the ground, causing another pain when the sword pulled out of his chest.

Hearing Clay's words, Kim s.h.i.+n couldn't stop saying. "Yes, you can!" He then didn't give Clay any more chance to fight, he immediately cut the white-haired man's neck.

Slas.h.!.+

Thud! Clang!

Blood sprayed out as Clay's body lifelessly fell on the ground, followed up by the clanging sound of the sword.

Seeing this, Victor carefully asked Kim s.h.i.+n. "Did we got it this time?"

Afraid to another false hope, like what happened earlier,

"Hey, young man!" Victor called out once again, feeling confused. He didn't know why Kim s.h.i.+n is still looking at Clay's corpse.

Kim s.h.i.+n actually hear Victor's call. However, he felt that this wasn't the end since the system didn't announce that he successfully killed the person. Receiving KP should come quickly after killing Clay. However, it still not coming yet.

Then, while he's intently observing Clay's corpse, a blinding white light erupted out of Clay's body forcing Kim s.h.i.+n to close his eyes.

Victor also closed his eyes while thinking. 'What's happening?'

Cracking sounds of bones could be heard, followed up with eerie but familiar voice. "I thought I was a goner that time! HEHEHEHE!"

's.h.i.+t! He's still alive!' Kim s.h.i.+n thought as he hurriedly jumped backward without a second thought at all.

Then, when the white light fades away, Kim s.h.i.+n and Victor finally managed to open their eyes again and saw a 4-meter tall white light human figure in a worn-out robe with a giant scythe as it floats in the air.

"What is that?!" Victor exclaimed in terror.

"Light Reaper!" Kim s.h.i.+n yelled out, utterly surprised at the light figure before them.
