660 The Battle is Over

The battle with Miia over, we move outside the tower. I bury the thanatos body, and carve Miias name on a stone to make a small grave marker.

Sorry for the ugly grave, Miia. Theres a lot of dangerous monsters around here, so it might get destroyed soon. But we need to hurry.

I bow to Miias grave. Aro and treant bow too.

You told me not to inherit your hatred and conviction. But, at the start, you were fighting to create a peaceful world safe from Gods Voice, right? Ive inherited that desire alongside your divine skill. My wish might be just to protect those I know. But, if necessary, Ill defeat Gods Voice and free the world in the process. So please rest in peace, Miia.

I dont know whether I have any chance of winning. But, Ive fought similar battles that seemed unwinnable several times before. I can probably No, I will defeat the self-proclaimed god.

Gods Voices objective is apparently to produce a monster with the maximum [Laplace Interference Authority], in order to free Foren. I dont know exactly why Gods Voice wants to free Foren.

But, Im pretty sure Gods Voice exists within this worlds system. At the very least, they use the same skills that we use. Gods Voice used [Spirit Servant], and mentioned having [Laplace Interference Authority]. In other words, theyll die when their HP is reduced to zero, and if Gods Voice treated as a monster theyll even have a rank.

I dont know what the deciding factor is, whether its the number of divine skills, the rank, or stats, but it seems [Laplace Interference Authority] wont level up unless the user gets stronger. I know that Gods Voice doesnt have [Laplace Interference Authority: LvMAX].

Gods Voices objective is to create a monster that is stronger than themself. In the case of a non-obedient monster like me, theyll strengthen me as close as possible to the limit in order to collect data. In other words, its possible that I could possess the potential to surpass Gods Voice.

If Gods Voice mistakes that line, my fangs should be able to reach their throat. Of course, I dont know how much potential I have. But its always been like this. The scale of the enemy has jumped up a bit, but I cant falter now.

From the battle with Miia, Aros level increased from 106 to 109, and treants from 107 to 116. Aros rate of increase is impressive for after level 100, but treants is incredible. He went up nine whole levels, despite being high level already. The damage he did with [Fairy Hex] was huge after all.

Aros magic is insanely strong now. Shes easily cleared the 2000 mark.

Even the ruins magic stat didnt reach that high. Of course, the ruin had the long range and wide-scale [Ruin] skill, but in terms of just destructive power, Aros [Dark Sphere] should deal similar damage now. On top of that, as long as she has MP to spare, she can use [Darkness Kaleidoscope] to multiply her damage output.

Its easy to overlook because those around me are so strong, but Aros gotten super strong too Her firepower probably is abnormally strong compared to others of the same rank. If hit with a barrage from [Darkness Kaleidoscope], Eldia or Beelzebub probably would have been killed without any chance for a counterattack. I wonder if the battle junkie Beelzebub would have been happy about that?

Hes in tree spirit form right now, so most of his stats are modified. I think this every time I see it, but his stats really are min-maxed. His HP and defence are almost as high as mine, and taking [Bark of the World Tree] into account, his defensive ability might actually be greater than mine.

Though, hes big and slow, and cant really make any proactive attacks, so even as tanky as he is, its easy to imagine he could be killed easily by an opponent of the same rank if hes by himself. Unfortunately, even though it can be a bit of a slog, hes the type of monster thats easily to deal with as long as you know what to do.

Of course, hes not alone. Aro and I are with him. As a result, were able to cover for his lack of mobility and offensive ability, and bring out the best of his strengths. His power in a team has been confirmed through our battles with the origin matter and Miia.

Also known as the [Dream Dragon]. According to legend, it is said to be the dragon that rules over the world of dreams.

Freely wielding light, gravity, and space, it fights through powerful magic.

The [Oneiros]s magic is said to transform the area around it into another world.

It excels at changing its appearance to hide and toy with its opponents, while also blasting them apart with immensely powerful magic skills.

As the [Dream Dragon], the oneiros is supposed to rule over the world of dreams. Considering the name of the [Butterfly Dream] skill, and bearing in mind the skills Ive gained so far as an oneiros, its probably got something to do with dreams or illusions. Since I got it from reaching the maximum level as a Legendary, its probably incredibly powerful.

However, theres something more important. My [Final Evolution] title has disappeared.

In other words I can evolve again. This will probably be the last time I evolve.
