I decide to check their levels right away.

As I look up, I see the petit nightmare clinging to the base of the chimera lichs throat, held in place by a red thread. Theres no way it hasnt noticed me, but it ignores me and continues to focus on sucking up the chimeras body fluids. Does it not taste rotten?

It doesnt really look like its very interested in evolution. Well, anyway, Ill start with the petit nightmare.

I use [Status Inspection] on its back as it greedily devours.

I would be bad if it got too big for me to handle Theres no way I can release it to the wild. Now that I think about it, Im not sure raising its level was for the best. There are various downsides. If I take my eyes off it, I get the feeling it might attack travellers.

I dont really need any attack magic other than [Wind Slash], but if I had [Telepathy] I could send my intentions to Aro and the others more precisely, and, depending on the circumstances, I could avoid some fights with monsters or even get their cooperation. Now then, Aro She fought hard from the front, so she should easily be at MAX level. She put up such a good fight against a B rank opponent. If anything, since she was so close to the maximum already, a lot of the experience might have been wasted.

Ihave my experience doubling skill, so I might have been underestimating it a bit. Certainly, after passing level 50, raising your level suddenly becomes a lot harder.
