Gaping with fear, Zhang Zhongji felt a sudden intense pressure from Chen. His heart sank as the words the came out of Chen’s mouth were as real as the floor he was standing on. Chen’s words were sharp and cold, like a blizzard that came out of the blue which froze both his body and soul.

‘Such power! This little brat is too powerful!’

At that moment, Zhang Zhongji knew that he was a fool to challenge Chen. For his strength was far beyond Zhang Zhongji’s.

The short standoff earlier was only executed for the sake of the movie! However, just when Zhang Zhongji had enough of fighting, Chen’s sudden words meant that things will unfold not the way he wanted.

Zhang Zhongji screamed in his heart for his own stupidity yet his unheard screams were futile as everything was already too late.

Blood was dripping from his arm while beads of sweat dotted his forehead. Though the blood was fake, his wounds were real. There was no faking that.

Even though Chen’s sword was a prop, it was still made of metal. The slash from Chen was so strong that it shattered Zhang Zhongji’s bones and tore his tendons. That pain was different than being slashed open with a sharp blade. From Zhang Zhongji’s perspective, it was at least a thousand times more excruciating. No wonder he was screaming like a deranged mental patient.

“Don’t talk to me about the plot! And don’t talk to me about the script! All of these – all these perfect scenes are all possible because of Chen Xiaobei! Let him lead the scenes!” Feng Yaolun’s eyes burned with a blinding fervor.

He was excited that he discovered Chen Xiaobei – the star of stars!

Suddenly, loud explosions could be heard from the building.

Of course, these were the small directional blasts placed outside the wooden building. It was only for a visual effect of the flames, not to cause the entire building to collapse for real.

“Oh no! The building is going to cave in! We can’t get away!” Tang Mengwan shrieked, her expression so authentic.

“I’m here. Nothing’s going to happen to you!”

Chen Xiaobei focused on the explosion. A dominant aura exuded from him.

The next scene would be an emotional one focused around Tang Mengwan.

Now all Chen Xiaobei had to do was follow the safety exit route and leave the building.

Once he had left, the next step was crucial – the crumbling of the entire building and bringing the entire scene to a close.
