Chapter 1425 1425: Meeting Aois Family

After collecting the cores, they took some rest. Yu Qi took out all of the cores that had been collected already. She was smiling while humming when calculating the cores. After recording the number of cores, they decided to walk again.

Long Hui was happy to be walking around like this. It felt like they were on a date. He ignored the presence of Yu Qi's pets.

"Master." Aoi suddenly called Yu Qi.

"What?" Yu Qi asked.

They became highly guarded because they thought Aoi must have sensed something. Aoi's sense must pick up something.

"I think I am familiar with this place," Aoi stated.

"This place is similar to where I used to live before becoming your contracted beast," Aoi said.

He led them. The more Aoi walked the more he felt that this place was the same as his hometown. Aoi led them until they stopped at the cliff.

"You live here?" s.h.i.+no asked.

"Yeah. We need to go down. There is a big cave down here if I am correct." Aoi said.

"Down this cliff? How do you climb down? This cliff looks very dangerous. One wrong step, and we will end up dying down there." Long Hui looked down.

"I know the way. Follow me." Aoi was confident about this.

They followed Aoi. Aoi did show them the safest path to go down the cliff. The surroundings began to fog. They walked very carefully because they were afraid to fall down.

Then, Aoi stopped. Long Hui and Yu Qi became alerted because they sensed that something was in front of them. They took out their weapon and was ready to fight back if that 'something' tried to attack them.

Aoi seemed to be trembling. He could not believe what he felt right now. The aura in front of him was the aura that he really knew. He decided to ask it.

Aoi made a sound. Yu Qi, Long Hui, and s.h.i.+no looked at Aoi and wondered what he was doing. After he made the sound, that 'something' moved forward, approaching their group.

The two monsters which had the same features as Aoi appeared but they were slightly different from Aoi. What Yu Qi could say, they seemed a bit older than Aoi.

The monster also made the same sound as Aoi. After that, Aoi rushed to the monster while crying. One of them kissed Aoi and also cried while another one looked at Aoi with sad eyes.

Yu Qi had a hunch. It seemed these two monsters were Aoi's parents. The hunch was right. It was indeed Aoi's parents. Aoi turned to them.

"Master, come here," Aoi called Yu Qi to approach them.

Yu Qi and Long Hui walked slowly to Aoi.

"Master, They are my parent. This is my father and mother." Aoi introduced his parent to Yu Qi.

Yu Qi bowed respectfully and smiled. "h.e.l.lo, there. I am Aoi's master."

Aoi's mother looked at Aoi and said something. Aoi replied excitedly. The mother nodded when his son answered. Aoi turned back to Yu Qi.

"My mother asked if the Aoi name is given by you, I answer yes and tell her the meaning of the name," Aoi stated.

"What is your previous name?" Yu Qi asked.

"I don't have one. Usually, I need to wait until I grow up." Aoi explained.

"I see... That's why you seemed happy when I named you." Yu Qi nodded.

Then, Aoi's father said something.

"Master, my father invites you to go to our house," Aoi said.

"Sure. Why not?" Yu Qi agreed.

She was kind of curious about Aoi's previous house. Not to mention, she also wanted to know how Aoi managed to appear in her s.p.a.ce. Aoi's parents could have answered that question.

So, they walked through the fog. Once they pa.s.sed the fog, they could see there was a large cave. The fog helped to hide the cave. It was a perfect place to hide.

When they entered the cave, they could see others the same as Aoi as well. There were small and big ones. Yu Qi could a.s.sume the number should be 90 to 120 monsters in the cave.

The small ones looked at Yu Qi and Long Hui with curiosity. While the bigger ones looked at them with guarded expressions. Well, Yu Qi could understand the feeling. When a stranger came into their house, they were obviously on guard.

Yu Qi could a.s.sume that the small ones were the younger generation while the bigger ones were the older generation. Some of the older generations came and talked to Aoi's father. Aoi's father explained and pointed to Aoi.

The older generations were shocked to see Aoi. They began to ask Aoi several questions. Aoi answered while pointing to Yu Qi.

Yu Qi could guess that they were asking about Aoi and where Aoi went for the past few years. Aoi answered by saying that he was staying with her.

"Master, meet my family," Aoi said proudly.

"h.e.l.lo everyone." Yu Qi smiled.

Aoi's family looked at the human girl. They could not believe someone like Aoi could perform a blood contract with a human.
