Hearing that sound, Zen and Anna looked at Kyle direction. Looking at Kyle, Anna suddenly felt guilty for some reason. The look on his face is not exactly what everyone says a friend looking person. He looks so scary and intimidating yet despite all that he looks more handsome. 'Ah, no wonder women fall for this guy even if he is scary or not.' Anna said in her mind.

"Oh, there was someone else. Hehe." Zen awkwardly laugh. The glare that Kyle is giving him made Zen wonder, 'What the h.e.l.l did I do?'

"Yes. Someone else was here. The whole time." The tone of his voice was cold that it sends s.h.i.+vers to Zen's spine. The way Kyle delivers his words towards Zen is like wis.h.i.+ng Zen to disappear and leave Anna and him alone.

"I think your boyfriend does not like me," Zen whispered to Anna.

Hearing what Zen just whispered to her, she felt that her face was burning up. "He is not...!" Anna whispered back. Zen did not say anything and just smirk at her. The redness of her face is making him doubt their relations.h.i.+p.

"Are you sure? You are not pretending are you?" He teases.

"I am not pretending," Anna said firmly.

Kyle saw everything from how Zen's words made Anna blush and Anna whispered back that made Zen smirk. From his point of view, it looks like they were flirting in front of him.

How could they flirt in front of him? Can they not do that in front of him, it is such a sore eye.

The glare that Zen is receiving from Kyle is more intense than earlier that he decided to back away before something might happen to him. "I'll contact aunty Mary, you stay here and coax him before he decided to kill me. We don't want that to happen right?" Without giving Anna the chance to reply back, Zen immediately left the kitchen.

After Zen left the air that surrounds them were so awkward that it is too suffocating for Anna. "So... what we were talking about earlier?" She said trying to erase the awkwardness between them.

"We were talking about what happened to your hand."

"And I said that I had so much fun with Zen that I accidentally hurt myself."

Again, silently swallowed them both again. Anna glance at Kyle and he look like he does not mind the silence. 'How can he handle this? Arghh! I can't! He's too quiet!'

As Anna was thinking of a way to start a conversation with Kyle and Kyle, on the other hand, was also thinking the same thing. He wants to start a conversation with Anna but he does not know how to start. What kind of conversation could they have? They barely even know each other.

"Uhh... I should really accompany Zen since I'm the one who invited him here." Anna said. She can't think of any conversation she can make with Kyle so she decided to focus her attention to Zen instead after all they both have matters that must attend first.

Hearing her words the nerve on Kyle suddenly tenses up. She will go and accompany that guy instead of him? That did not sound good in his ear.

"He will be fine. He's old enough to handle himself. Stay beside me instead." Kyle declared. That surprised Anna and so is he; why did he just say that? Normally he would rather be alone so that n.o.body will disturb him.

But the thought of Anna would rather spend her time with that guy did not really make him happy.

"Well..."

Thinking that Anna might refuse to stay with him, Kyle immediately asked her a question. "What is going on? You sounded so anxious when you were talking to him earlier."

His question was only an excuse for him to make Anna stay longer with him but at the same time, he was also curious what is really going that made Anna look so worried.

Anna pauses and looked at Kyle. Should she tell him or not? Isn't better to tell someone like Kyle about what is Elina is planning? After all, Alexandre is Kyle's cousin.

She wants to tell him but she is afraid that the situation might get worse if she tells him or to anybody.

Kyle observed her, she opens and closes her mouth. He noticed that Anna wants to tell him what is really happening but she also does not want to tell him.

He was dissatisfied that Anna is having second thoughts on telling him while she can freely tell Zen without any hesitation. What is the difference between him and Zen? Is Zen better than him that she would rather go to Zen's side? Or is it because Zen is in the same age as her that she gets along with him perfectly?

So what? Even though is a bit older than them he is still much better than that guy. 'I'm more handsome, smarter and in everything he does I'm much better.'

Kyle paused, did he just declared that he is much better than Zen? What has gotten into him? Why is he so bothered on why would Anna rather choose Zen over him?

Before he and Anna had an interaction with each other, he does not care about other people. Whether they are better than him or not he does not care. But right now because of Anna choosing Zen over him he is bothered by it and he does not want Anna to choose that guy over him.

He suddenly thought that what's happening to him this whole day revolves around Anna. She is the main core why is he thinking and acting differently from what he usually does.

Kyle intently stared at Anna and Anna felt that something was wrong by the way he stares at her, 'What have you done to me?'
