"What are you doing?"

Anna was startled by the sudden voice behind her and afraid that person might see what she's doing at this time, Anna immediately closes her laptop and faces that person nervously .

Looking at the person in front of her is Kyle she sighs a relief . It's a good thing that its not her uncle Fonso or else her uncle Fonso will definitely tell her mother what she's doing in the middle of the night . And once her mother knows what she's doing her mother might interfere with this case that she's fixated on . Anna does not want anyone interfering this case until she is sure that it's serious enough to tell anyone .

Anna snapped back from her worries and calmly answered Kyle question, "I was just doing my homework . I forgot to do it and the deadline was tomorrow so I'm staying up late . " Kyle only nodded in response and Anna again breathed a sigh in relief, 'Thank goodness he's buying that lie . '

Kyle might look like he is believing Anna's word but in truth, he does not believe a single word she uttered . While Anna was talking Kyle look directly in her eyes and he saw that Anna was nervous about something or rather she was nervous about other people finding out what she is doing this late at night .

Like a curious cat, Kyle slowly strides his way towards the empty spot beside Anna . Once he reached the spot, he sat down next to her; Anna was confused and p.i.s.sed by his action, why did he sit beside her? If Kyle is gonna be with her for a long time she cannot finish the work that she wants to be done . Anna wants to find that stranger immediately; there must have some kind of motive why that stranger showed himself to Elina and why did the message her when she was trying to hack some information about him . She cannot find the answers that she wants if Kyle is gonna keep her accompany .

While Anna was in her confused state, Kyle swiftly took her laptop and opened it . Anna was surprised and immediately want to s.n.a.t.c.h her laptop away from him but Kyle was able to stop her from s.n.a.t.c.hing the laptop away from him with just one hand while the other hand was fiddling in her laptop .

Anna was cursing in her mind, 'Why did I not put a pa.s.sword on that d.a.m.n laptop!' . Kyle successfully saw everything she opened and his forehead wrinkled as he watches the security camera's video clip . He saw a familiar woman and a guy talking to each other .

After Kyle watched the video and read every info that's on the screen, he faces Anna with an obvious question mark on his face . "That woman on the video . . . Was that uncle Alfonso's a.s.sistant?"

Now that it has come to this, Anna reluctantly answers his question, "Yes . . . and before you ask if I know that guy, my answer is no . So it's useless to ask me . Now, can you please give me back my laptop?" Anna was quite worried that Kyle might drop her laptop and it might break . She's not worried about the information in that laptop will be gone because she can always recover it; she's worried because that laptop was given by Josh's dad . It's one of a kind and the only one in the world, it was made personally for her . If that laptop gets broken she doesn't know how to face her uncle Mike in the future .

Kyle did not listen to her and place her laptop further away from her . After doing that, he held Anna's shoulders using both of his hands and made her face him properly . He has a lot of question regarding what he just saw from her laptop .

"Why are you stalking uncle Alfonso's a.s.sistant? What's your motive?" Kyle's voice was serious and at the same time, it was terrifying to hear . It looks like the rumors from Anna's past life was true, whenever Kyle Robertson is serious he can also be so scary that other people do not want to face him whenever he is serious .

Kyle does not want to doubt Anna because he felt that it's not gonna be good for him . It's all gonna depends on what kind of answer will she reply to his question . If her answer has a pure reason then the doubt in his mind might fade away and if not . . . He does not even want to think about it .

"Tsk! Jesus! Do you really think that every woman has motives for every person?! I don't have any motives towards uncle Fonso, FYI, he's like family to me! I want the best for him, I'm doing this for him! Just like what I said before at the hospital, don't ever! Ever! Compare me to those kinds of people!" For the first time in such a long while, Anna was so angry at the person who's holding her shoulders very tightly . From time to time Anna winced at the pain he's giving to her .

As for Kyle, this is the first time that he had to experience someone is shouting at him full of rage in its eyes . Sure his family shouts at him from time to time but when Anna shouted at him angrily it felt so different and with the knowledge that she's angry at him does not make him feel good inside .

This is the second time he asks her about her real motive and this is also the second time that she stared at him with anger . He felt guilty now, he can totally see that she is telling the truth; whatever is inside her laptop it's all for his uncle Alfonso's well-being . There are no other motives other than that .

Kyle wants to say that he is sorry for accusation towards her but she immediately stood up, took her laptop, and went to her room while stomping her feet like an angry child . Kyle was left all alone in the silent living room, feeling guilty towards what he had done towards the person who wants the best thing for her loved ones .
