On the other hand, while Mary and Layla are having their 'sweet' time, Anna's phone suddenly rang . Taking out her phone to see who's calling; when she saw the name in her screen her face turned serious . Without telling anybody else she went outside Pia's ward and answered the call .

"Did you got the information that I need?" She asked .

"Yeah, but there's no suspicious thing to worry about . " A sweet gentle voice was heard on the other end of the line .

"Are you sure about that, Nathalia?" Anna asked again wanting to make sure that Nathalia is not messing with her .

"Yes . I am sure, I'm my father's daughter after all . Why are you so fixated with that a.s.sistant anyway?" Nathalia asked in curiosity . Earlier, Aaron called her for a favor to get some information about Alfonso's a.s.sistant and she did it right away since she's bored and has nothing to do . Aaron also told her that if she got the information that he needed she should call Anna and report it to her .

In disappointment, Anna said, "It's nothing . " Anna would not believe that her uncle Alfonso's a.s.sistant is not doing anything bad because she kept having this bad feeling about her since the moment she saw that a.s.sistants expression earlier . Before hanging up the phone Anna said to Nathalia, "Keep me updated if there's something suspicious about her . "

"Okay, I'll keep in touch if anything changes . " After that, the call ended .

After the call ended Anna sighed very deeply . Debating on whether she should believe that Elina is planning on something or not . But no matter how much she debates on her mind the conclusion she got is always the option of not to trust that woman and must keep an eye on her .

While deep on her thoughts, Anna didn't notice a certain young man behind watching her every move since the very beginning she left Pia's ward . Kyle wonders who did she talk to in the phone that made her acted so serious and having a hard time deciding on a matter .

Without any warning, he got near Anna and fake a cough two times just to get her attention . He succeeded in doing so; Anna was startled and looked at the young man in front of her . She did not expect Kyle would approach and appear in front of her all of the sudden .

A deafening silence surrounded between the both of them, both don't know how to start a conversation and as time pa.s.ses by the more awkward it is for the both of them to start a conversation .

Kyle spoke first and the word he said shocked and startled Anna, "Thanks . " He said . But seeing that Anna doesn't know why he is thanking her, he then added: "For the cake, it was delectable . "

Realizing what he means by thanking her, Anna snaps out of her surprised state and then said, "No, no, no . I'm supposed to be the one thanking you! I made that cake to thank you . I intended to thank you personally but when I visited your family's villa you were not there . So I can only leave the cake . " For some reason as Anna speak all these words, she felt embarra.s.sed just to explain herself and her face was flus.h.i.+ng red .

Kyle was somewhat amused to see Anna acting like that but he didn't show it in his face and just stared at her . "Thank me for what exactly?" Truthfully in Kyle's perspective, there is nothing for Anna to thank him and because of this, he is quite suspicious that the reason for Anna on this is just to get close to him and some other motives besides that .

Base on the tone of Kyle's voice Anna could guess that he is having suspicion on her . The suspicion of trying to get close to him, well, why wouldn't he think like that? Anna thinks that it's a natural reaction coming from Kyle . After all, all woman young or old wants to get close to him with big plans on their minds and this reaction of being wary of those kinds of people is only natural for Kyle, in a way of Anna's perspective .

"On the cultural event in my school a few days ago . You helped me from those old men . Well if you don't remember it's fine, you don't have to waste your time on me and have suspicion on why am I thanking you and baking you a cake . " Anna somewhat felt insulted by him . She is not like those leeches with some ulterior and being compared with those leeches, does not make her feel good about it .

Hearing the slight of displeasure in Anna's voice, Kyle kind of felt bad . He was about to say something but someone behind them interrupted him, "Anna we're going home, don't waste any more time 'cause I'm tired already and want to lay on my bed . "

After hearing her brother's words, Anna faces Kyle properly and sweetly said, "Well, have a good rest of the day young master Robertson . It was nice to see you again . " After saying those words Anna pa.s.ses by Kyle without looking back and went with her brother .

When Anna pa.s.ses by him he had the urge to stop her from going with her mother and brother but remembering the word she spouted earlier: ' . . . don't have to waste your time on me . . . ', he stopped himself from doing what he was about to do . He sighs, 'What am I thinking?'
