"Don't act as you have forgotten about that!" Gloria screamed. She can't stand the fact that everything that she has been suspicious about is the truth and every evidence that she needs is already in front of her. Yet, her husband is acting as if he is clueless about everything.

'What kind of game is he playing at?!' Gloria inwardly asked. Everything is already placed in front of them, and yet her husband is playing games with her. 

She doesn't have the time to play games with him. She wants James to be straight with her. If he could just tell her the name of the woman who is endangering her position as James' wife, then she will make her move immediately.

She can't have herself in any tight position. There is still hope for her to go back to high society. And as long as she knows that, she is not letting go of James no matter what.

If her current appearance is not what it is now today, then she won't be hesitating to leave James and find another man that can provide her a better life. If only she has been born with the same face as Mary, she could have gotten whatever that she needs.

As Gloria is about to touch James, James avoided her touch and said, "I have to go." 

Without saying a word to either to his daughter and wife, he left in a hurry.

His mind is all over the place. He can't believe that he was unconscious for more than a whole day.

From what he can remember is that the nurse told him that he was only unconscious for ten hours straights. Before he's at the hospital, what was he doing and where was he? 

So many questions running around his mind, but he is not able to answer them all when he has no clue about what really happened to him. As much as he wants to find the answer right at this moment, he can't because he has to seek that person he missed to meet yesterday.

He needs to explain himself or else, that person is going to leave behind and all of his efforts are all for naught.

Back at where Gloria and her daughter are, Gloria is cras.h.i.+ng everything that is on sight. She is so mad to the point that she wants to kill James. He just left without saying anything, not even to his daughter.

James is the type of person who never explains himself, but when the atmosphere is not right, he usually gives her a bit of information about what is going on. Her hope on wanting to believe that there was no other woman has crumbled seeing the way James acted.

"Mom! Just stop!" Sharon shouted. She already hated the house that she is living in, but if her mother keeps on rampaging and dirtying the entire house, she might think of finding a way to escape this place.

She can't stand being in the same place as her crazy mother. And as for her father, she is somewhat disappointed in him. She knew there is no love between her parents, but she has never imagined that either of them could have an affair.

At the very least, she actually thought that it would be her mother who would go on that path. Her father was the last person she could ever think of doing that.

"Stop? You want me to stop? Your father just left us to go meet his other woman without saying a word and yet, you didn't stop him! You just stood there and watch your father leave!" Gloria has this urge to slap her daughter, but she can't do it because of James.

If there is a bruise in any parts of Sharon's body, the first person that James will pour his anger on is her. 'Calm down, Gloria. This girl is stupid. She can't do anything right. Even the common sense of stopping her father, she didn't ever tried of doing it.' 

"Why would I ever try to do that? Even if I did, he wouldn't stop and listen to me. There is no point in doing it in the first place." Sharon replied in a matter-of-fact tone.

"You're unbelievable," Gloria replied with a scowl and left her daughter alone. She can't deal with Sharon at the moment. It's better for her to leave right away before she could do something so stupid.

On Arion's side, Alfonso and Zack are currently discussing the sudden development between James and his family.

"Wow. That was an unexpected development between them." Zack said in astonishment. He never thought that he will hear such a conversation between James and Gloria. His initial thought was that the conversation between them will be something related to evil schemes. But who would have known that this so-called affair will be the first news he would hear from James.

"To think that Gloria would actually run her imagination that wild," Alfonso said. From the moment his eyes landed on Gloria, he immediately knew that she is the type of person who would run its imagination to its fullest, and an annoying schemer.

The conversation that she just had with James, did not exactly surprise him. There was always a part of him that says that Gloria will have that kind of imagination and take that to her advantage.

"You two, stop doing what you're doing." The voice from behind startled Alfonso and Zack.

Zack turned around and said, "I thought that point of putting that device on James' body is to eavesdrop on him? Isn't that what Alfonso and I are doing?" From what Zack can tell, he and Alfonso are doing the job Arion a.s.signed them to do. So why is he having a feeling that he will get scolded for doing his job?

"Yes. That the point. However, that doesn't mean that it includes eavesdropping in whatever kind of drama James is having." Arion said in a serious tone. What he is trying to say is that the main for the device is to only get information that is related to any bad scheme Jame is planning.

Whatever is going on between James and his family has nothing to do with their current goal. And he expects everyone who knows about this plan to keep that in mind.

"What's this? Since when did you even become so boring?" Alfonso asked with a frown on his face. Usually, whenever Arion hears this kind of drama, he would definitely find more information about it and use it to satisfy his fun.

However, now, it is definitely not the case. 'I can clearly tell that Arion is extremely angry at James even without asking about it.' Alfonso inwardly commented.

"I don't have the time to have fun. The safety of the people that we know is at stake here. And listening and gathering information about that guy's drama life is only going to waste my time and your time." Arion half-lied.

"Fine. We're not gonna waste any more time." Zack said in a bored tone. All of his fun has drained because of Arion's seriousness. He gets why Arion is like that, but Arion shouldn't be draining his fun. 

Having fun is the only thing that he can do while doing such a boring job.

With a satisfied expression, Arion is about to turn around and focus on his paperwork, but then, he suddenly heard an unfamiliar, yet at the same time very familiar voice that he and the others have been waiting for. "So, mind telling me why you dared to keep me pointlessly waiting for you here yesterday, hmm, James?"

"Ohh, the man that we've been expecting to appear has is finally here," Zack said with a smirk.

"Zack, turn the volume up. I was to hear everything." Arion can hear loud and clear without ever turning the volume up. But he was to hear it loudly as much as possible. He doesn't want any tiny detail of their conversation to be unheard of.

"Roget that." Zack promptly followed Arion's order.

"I don't have any good excuse," James said in a nervous tone. "I was on my way to meet you yesterday, but then suddenly everything went black. I woke up two hours ago at a hospital, I was confused about how I got there and who took me there. I went home wondering about that, then I realized that a day has already pa.s.sed and that got me overwhelmingly confused…"

"Confused? What do you mean by that?"

"The nurse at the hospital said that I was only there for only ten hours, and before that, I have no other information about my whereabouts and what was I doing."

While listening a sudden question popped in Alfonso's mind. "This guy, who James is talking to right now seems like he is not easily convinced. The effort that we put on James will be pointless if this guy suddenly pushed James away. If that happens, what are we gonna do, Arion?"
