"What do you mean 'what is this?'" Layla scoffed at her son's question. "It's so obvious that we are celebrating your first ever relations.h.i.+p?" This kind of development with her son is something that is worth celebrating.

"Mom, I don't think that all of this is necessary," Kyle said with a big sigh in the end. All he wants is for everyone to accept his relations.h.i.+p with Anna. He doesn't want this so-called celebration.

He gets that they are happy for him, but this does not suit him at all. He would rather accept their congratulations than this.

"What do you mean by that? Son, you don't understand it, do you? This is necessary! Don't ever think that it is not!" Stan said firmly. Ever since that his son started high school, he noticed that Kyle does not have any interest in the people around him, especially towards girls.

He was worried to the point that he sometimes arrange blind dates for Kyle. But unfortunately, all the dates that he sets for his son, ended up as a failure. Since then, he sometimes thinks that his son might not be interested in girls at all.

The movement that he heard that Kyle took an interest in Anna, he was so surprised and happy. Adding to the fact that Anna came from a good family and is a nice educated girl, Stan is more than happy to support Anna to become Kyle's partner.

Whenever he thinks about his son, he always prays to that G.o.ds above that they should help Anna and Kyle to be together. After all the prayers that he has done, he is so happy that everything went to the way he wanted.

"Dad, I know that you are happy for me and all, but this is just too much." Kyle can't even stand staying here anymore. He wants to walk out of the door and go to his apartment for tonight. But glancing at the butler behind him, he thinks that it's impossible for him to escape this h.e.l.l. "Grandfather, please say some sense to my mother and father." He said looking straight at his grandfather, who is currently leisurely drinking tea.

"Why would I?" Kyle was surprised to hear that response from him. "I also think that this is worth celebrating. I see no harm in it, Kyle." Elijah added.

That response was something that Kyle is not expecting to hear, especially from his grandfather. Out of all people, his grandfather is actually agreeing to this kind of nonsense his father and mother pulled? What on earth is going on?!

"Brother, it's alright. Everyone in our family is happy that Anna is your girlfriend, and none of us is willing to forgive you if you ever break up with her." Lannie straightforwardly said to Kyle. Anna is the only partner that she will recognize for her brother. And if her brother brings another girl other than, she will not forgive him.

Kyle only stared at his sister. He didn't even know what to say to that. His sister actually chooses another person than her own brother. 'What kind of a joke are they playing?' He inwardly asked.

"I'm tired. I going to my room now." Since he is already speechless from what is happening, Kyle thinks that it is best for him to rest now before his fuse blows up.

"W-What? It's not time for you to do that-" Stand shouted, but Kyle already decided not to listen to any word they are going to say to him. They drained all of the energy he saved from earlier.

On Anna's side, she just got home. The first person that she saw the moment she entered the mansion was her brother with a black eye. She was so shocked at her brother's appearance that she screamed.

"Goodness! What on earth happened to you?" She was only gone for only a few days and yet, her brother is already like this? As far as she knows, her brother went with Nathalia to visit their uncle Leonardo's mother.

'What happened while I was gone?' She inwardly asked.

"I got punched by Nathalia's father." He said. Though in his tone, he somewhat sounds like he is proud of the fact that he got punch.

His comment made a big question mark in Anna's mind. She doesn't understand why her brother is acting like getting a black eye is something he should be proud of.

"Why would he punch you?" Anna asked. The Leonardo that she knows is a cool-headed man, he won't ever throw a punch on someone unless it is required. And as far as she knows, her brother won't do anything stupid in front of Leonardo, he is too scared to do that.

However, Anna still can't help but think that her brother might have done something so stupid in front of Leonardo that is why he got a black eye.

Arion who overheard Anna's question answered it instead of Aaron. "It's because your brother made a hasty decision and just blurted out loud that he would like to court Nathalia. And Leonardo being an overprotective father, got enraged by your brother's outburst, punch him in the face."

Arion heard everything that happened from his wife, and all he can do is shake his head in his son's carelessness. Before Aaron left the mansion with Leonardo, he kept telling him that he should not say anything that might enrage Leonardo. But despite his warnings, his son didn't listen to him.

The only thing that Arion is grateful for right now is that Leonardo didn't decide on killing his son.

Hearing that from her father, Anna smacks her brother's shoulder. "Are you being stupid or what? Didn't I remind you before not do anything stupid? You know d.a.m.ned well what kind of a person uncle Leonardo is, brother." 

For some reason, Anna felt like she wants to give up on defending her brother from their uncle Leonardo. Blurting out that he wants to court Nathalia at that time and place is not appropriate. For him to do that, it seems to Anna that her brother has a death wish.

"Come on, don't be like that to me too. Our parents and grandfather are already scolding me for what I did." Aaron said with a frown. He expected his sister to comfort him when she gets back home, but to think that she would smack him in the shoulder and also calls him stupid is kind of breaking his heart.

"Don't tell me what to say and what not to say. It's only right that they said that to you! You're being way too hasty. Good thing you're not dead yet." It may sound harsh for her to say that to Aaron, but it is what it is. Her brother did not listen to anything that she and the rest of their family said to him.

Is he that hard-headed or what?

"I know what I did was stupid, but I have to say, it was worth it." Although he got a black eye from Leonardo, there was some good in what happened that day. If he is able to go back in time, then he wouldn't change a thing.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Anna was somewhat expected her brother to look on a positive side in his situation, but looking at him now, it seems like the 'positive side' she was thinking has already happened to him.

"Nathalia's grandmother heard what I said to uncle Leonardo, and guess what? She managed to convince uncle Leonardo to allow me to court Nathalia." Although Leonardo was forced to allow him to do what he wants, Aaron is still happy. However, it does not mean that he will stop asking Leonardo.

He wants Leonardo to accept him willingly. It doesn't matter how long will it takes because he is willing to do any challenge that Leonardo might throw at him as long as the result of it is his goal.

[A few days ago]

After Anna left for Alfonso's runway show, it is now Aaron's turn to go to the place where Nathalia's grandmother is. But before he got on Leonardo's car, his parents and grandfather kept on reminding him of something that he should always keep in mind at all times during this trip.

"Aaron, I'm telling you this over and over again because I love you. That is why you must never forget what we just said to you, you hear me?" Mary said in a worried tone.

"Mom, I'm already tired of hearing this. Can I please go now? Uncle Leo is already inside the car waiting for me."
