From the way Alfonso is asking her, she is thankful that she listened to her brother. She knew that the Ricci family has a big impact on her family, but she never that the impact would this great. Her uncle Alfonso's reaction is making her more curious about that family.

"That good. If you two had been snooping around to get information about those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds, then it would be bad for all of us. Remember, what they really need is you and your brother. As for what reason, I am in no right to tell you that." Alfonso said with full of seriousness in his tone. Since Alfonso rarely talks to her with this kind of tone, Anna understood that she should listen to the people who have already faced the Ricci family before.

After hearing all that from Anna and Alfonso, Kyle frowns. He got a feeling that there is some trouble going on within the Coleman family's organization, but he never thought that it would be this bad.

Now, he getting worried about what will happen to Anna. He wishes that he could just take Anna and put her somewhere safe, far away from any danger lurking around, but he knows that Anna will not accept it if he is going to do that.

She cares too much for her family and she is not willing to leave them just for her own sake. That part of hers is one of the many things that he likes about her.

"If there is going to be a war between the Colemans and the Riccis, are you and your friends going to take part in it, Uncle?" Kyle asked out of curiosity. From what he is hearing so far, he thinks that the feud is only happening between the Coleman family and the Ricci family. Other than that, his uncle and his uncle's friends have nothing to do with it.

"Yes, of course."

"There is no doubt about that."

Both Alfonso and Mike said at the same time. They didn't even hesitate on answering his question. From the very moment they became close to Mary, they already swore that they will always be by her side, even if the path is dangerous.

No matter what kind of persuasion other people might throw at them, they will never betray or leave Mary all alone. Their loyalty towards her is unbreakable.

"How about the Robertsons?" Kyle asked again and Alfonso fell in silence for seconds. 

His question was unexpected. He knew what kind of point Kyle is trying to get at, but he is unable to answer Kyle straightforwardly.

"Kyle, I know that you care, and most likely you might want to talk about this to your parents, but it's not worth it. Your family and Anna's family never swore an alliance to each other, that means what you are thinking is not possible to happen." Mike replied instead of Alfonso. He is now taking a liking to Kyle.

Kyle is a bold young man, he is willing to go that far just for Anna, but that effort is just going to be a waste since when it comes to going against the Ricci family.

Kyle frowns at Mike's answer, then he said, "How would you know? Did my grandfather or my father say something about that?" All he wants is to aid Anna and her family against that Ricci family. What does Mike mean about what he just said?

"Neither of them said anything, however, both of them are not stupid to just aid the Coleman family against the Ricci family just because of your affection towards Anna. Both of them know what kind of a foe the Ricci family is." Mike coldly said to Kyle. He wants to tell Kyle straightforwardly that everything that he does should not be all about Anna. Sometimes, he just has to think without concerning his feelings.

"If you want to go that far, involving the Robertson family, then you should become the head of the Robertson family. Everything that you say will be absolute, no one will dare to go against that hasty decision of yours." Alfonso said.

Alfonso hit the right spot on Kyle. He wants Kyle to understand that he can't get whatever he wants, even if he is the son of the current head of the family.

The matter with the Ricci family is not as easy as whatever he has already overcome. The power that he currently has is not enough to make the decision.

Harsh as it is, Alfonso wants Kyle to learn to be more mature.

Kyle didn't respond to that. His uncle is right, he has no power at all. He is currently training and trying to overcome everything that is handed to him to gain the power that he needs. So far, he is getting what he wants, but this time, it's for sure that no matter what he does, there is no chance that he gets the power that he wants to protect Anna.

Sensing how frustrated Kyle is, Anna reached out to his hand. It's her way to say that it is okay and that he can protect her in his own way without having the power that he wants to have.

Kyle calmed down, but the uneasy feeling inside of him is not letting him go. He is afraid. Afraid that the moment he turns his back on her, he will lose her. Now, he understands why his father is so overprotective of his mother from time to time. It was because his father is afraid of losing his mother.

'I guess it really does runs in the family.' He inwardly commented.

Currently, on their way home, Mike and Alfonso are having their private talk while Anna and Kyle are playing with Alexandre.

"Your nephew is going to be quite troublesome in the near future. You better warn your sister." Mike commented as he watched Kyle interact with Anna and Alexandre. This young man has not yet matured at the way he expects him to be, but there is no rush. Kyle is still young and has a lot of time to think about everything that they discussed last night.

"I know. But before, I told my sister about the good news between Anna and Kyle. Haha! I can't wait to see Kyle's face when he discovered that my sister prepared a celebration party for him." Kyle might want to keep it hidden to everyone, but Alfonso, on the other hand, has other plans in mind.

Mike sighed, then he said, "Didn't you heard what Kyle said to Anna that day, he wants their relations.h.i.+p to be a secret first because he wants to tell Arion first and get the blessing that he wants. Why can't you just respect your nephew's wishes?"

Mike is so glad that his son and Alfonso are not that close or else, his son would be expecting this kind of torture from Alfonso. 'Josh, you are so d.a.m.n lucky.' He inwardly said.

"Don't worry," Alfonso spoke with a smile on his face. "I told my sister what Kyle wants, and she promised that the news will be kept within Kyle's family until the time is right." 

In fact, when Layla heard that was her son is planning, she was so proud. She never thought that Kyle will be that thoughtful of the relations.h.i.+p that he has with Anna. She even said that Kyle is way better than Stan.

"I wonder what kind of reaction Arion will have once he learned that his only princess is in a relations.h.i.+p now." Knowing what kind of overprotective father Arion is, Mike is somehow worried about Kyle's future.

"I bet he will have the same reaction as Leo." Alfonso suddenly mentioned Leonardo's name that it made Mike turn his head around as if his attention was caught by that name.

"What do you mean by that?" If he guesses it correctly, then Leonardo's daughter, Nathalia, must have a suitor and it enrages the overprotective father within Leonardo. That kind of news is quite interesting and Mike would like to learn more about it.

"The other night, after I told Mary about what happened between me and Johan, Mary shared a piece of news about what happened to her son and Leonardo. And I'm telling you now, I regret not being able to see Leo's reaction." As Alfonso is saying this, it was clear in his face that he is upset that everything went down when he wasn't around.

"Color me surprised, I didn't think that Aaron would be making a move on Nathalia," Mike said in a surprised tone.
