He sometimes wonders why the guys that he overheard accidentally says that girls with this kind of appet.i.te are not good to be with. They are clearly wrong because, from the way he sees it, girls like Anna are fun to be with. 

It is nice to see Anna enjoying herself.

"Yes. How about you?" Since they sometimes go to a restaurant together, eating a lot in front of Kyle is not making Anna feel embarra.s.sed anymore. She is glad that Kyle doesn't mind this side of her.

He is so different from Juan. Back in her past life, when Juan first saw her ate a lot, he told her that she should not do such a thing whenever he is with her. He even called her a pig, and that almost made her cry. It saddened her when Juan doesn't accept that part of her.

Now, it doesn't bother her anymore because there is a guy who accepts this part of her, and she hopes that this guy won't ever leave or betray her just like that way Juan did.

"Same," Kyle replied with a smile.

While they are waiting for their bill, Anna took out a small round mirror from her purse. After taking a look at herself, she said to Kyle, "I need to go to the restroom, will you wait for me?" Anna is not sure whether they are in a hurry or not, but she should at least let him know that it might take her a while to freshen herself up.

"Take all the time that you need. There is no need to rush." If there is no more time for them to visit the other popular places, then there is always a next for them. And by then, he and Anna will an official couple.

Anna smile at him, then she strides her way to the restroom. 

Inside the restroom, two girls entered after Anna. Anna was minding her own business when she suddenly heard the girls talking about one specific person that she didn't expect to hear today.

"What has gotten into Veronica? She suddenly told us to come with her in this country, it's not like her."

"I don't mind it though since this place is really popular among the ladies. But still, she got weird ever since she told us about meeting her childhood friend again."

"Is Kyle Robertson really her childhood friend? I mean, I know she doesn't lie, but still, it's hard to believe that she has that kind of relations.h.i.+p with a Robertson."

"She did show us her childhood picture with Kyle."

"Why are we even here at this restaurant? This is so not hers and our style. People like us are not suited in this damp place."

At first, when Anna heard Veronica's name she thought that it was only a coincidence that someone has the same name as the Veronica that she knows. But after hearing Kyle's name, she thinks that it's not a coincidence anymore.

'That girl is really unbelievable. I can't believe she followed Kyle all the way here. Is she mentally sick or something?' Anna inwardly said.

Anna waited for the girls to leave the restroom, and when they did, she laughs at the situation that she is in now. If Veronica's friends are here, then that means that Veronica is also here. "It seems like you've been following us all the way here, Veronica. You sure are one creepy girl."

Anna somehow tried to imagine the look on Veronica's face when she saw her and Kyle walking together side by side, looking so happy. Despite the fact that Veronica has been following her and Kyle all the way here, Anna laughs at the thought of Veronica's jealous expression.

Anna left the restroom, and just as she guessed, Veronica is already in front of Kyle. From where Anna is standing, she can tell that Kyle is in a very bad mood seeing Veronica.

Veronica's two friends are just beside standing beside her. It seems to Anna that Veronica's friends are trying to get in Kyle's good side. Anna only sighs at how pathetic they look.

Earlier, after Anna left the table, Kyle was only minding his own business when suddenly, someone sat on the seat Anna was sitting on moments ago. He looks up and a frown immediately replaces his nonchalant expression.

"Kyle! It's such a coincidence seeing you here!" Just looking at her face is making Kyle thinks that his day has been ruined. And hearing her say that it was such a coincidence seeing him here in this restaurant, also makes him feel that she's been following him.

At the thought of that, he suddenly felt gooseb.u.mps all over his body.

"Coincidence? Are you kidding me? Do you really think that I will believe that?" Kyle spoke in a cold tone of voice. This restaurant that they are in right now is the type of restaurant that Kyle is sure Veronica won't ever step foot in.

'Is she really that desperate for my attention? How annoying.' Kyle inwardly said. Now he is wis.h.i.+ng that should not be taking her time now because he wants to get out of this place with her immediately.

Veronica's face turned pale when she heard his cold voice. Once again, Kyle is being cold to her, and it is breaking her heart.

She is about to say something, but the friends that Veronica brought all the way here came right next to her. "Veronica, there you are! What are you doing on this table? We've been looking for you."

"Can we find another place to eat? I really don't like this place. It's making me feel icky."

While Veronica's friends were complaining and complaining about the restaurant, the local people were glaring at them, and so is Kyle.

He came from the same high society as them, but he feels ashamed of knowing that because compare to some luxurious restaurants, this place, is the best thing that he ever tried.

When Veronica's friends finally stopped with their complaints, they glance at Kyle, and they were so shock and embarra.s.sed. They are embarra.s.sed because they didn't notice him in the first place and let him see their bad side.

"Oh, my, goodness. I am so sorry if we disturbed you guys." One of them said in an apologetic tone. Then she glances at Veronica, from the way she sees it, Veronica and Kyle are a perfectly matched couple.

She doesn't understand why so many people are focusing more on Anna Coleman and Kyle. The articles say that Anna and Kyle are a couple, but there the people themselves are not even acknowledging it.

'They are talking nonsense! Look at these two! They are perfect for each other!' She inwardly said.

Veronica was pleased when she noticed that look on her friend's face. She knew exactly what she is thinking and she could not help but agree to it.

But her happiness is only momentarily when Kyle suddenly spoke, "Disturbed us? Heh. You're talking nonsense. In fact, Veronica and you two are the ones disturbing me and my date." Veronica's face turned when she heard that while her friends freeze.

"D-Date? I don't see anyone here but us." Kyle said that they are disturbing his date, but she sees n.o.body else but them in this specific table. She then glances at Veronica, she saw the look on her face.

That expression tells her that Veronica knows who is the date Kyle is talking about and is angry about it. 'What is going on?' She confusedly asked herself.

"That date would be me. Now, would you people mind getting out of our way because my date and I have someplace to go to." A sudden voice was heard. Veronica and her friends were startled to hear that. They turn their heads around and saw Anna walking towards them with a smile on her face.

It might look like to others that she is revealing a friendly smile, but Veronica and her friends know that Anna is smirking at them. And for some reason it irritates them.

The other friend of Veronica noticed something and she gasped at her realization, "Isn't she the girl from the restroom? And now that I'm looking at her closely, she's Anna Coleman." She whispered.

Both of them turned pale, they talked about a lot of things while they were in the restroom, and they are afraid that they might have somehow offended Anna. They know how to talk behind other people's back, but when it comes to confrontation, they don't have the guts. They are afraid of offending people who are above them.

"Anna! Y-You're here." Veronica still has not yet moved on from the humiliation that she received from the cafe the other day, and she is thankful that there is no article released about that or else, she is going to live in shame for so many months.

"Yes. I am here, and I'm sure you already know that."
