When Alfonso was reporting to her about Johan's sudden appearance at the event, Mary admits that she was shocked to hear that, but she does not want Alfonso to know about it. The reason why she is shocked by that because Johan was not looking for a fight, but instead he was intentionally looking for Alfonso.

That kind of sign is very weird, even for Johan. Even before Johan betrayed the group, he and Alfonso were never close in the first place. If Johan would talk to someone like that, he would most likely go to Mike, but why didn't he go to him?

He and Mike were best buddies, just like Mary and Leonardo are. Mary wants to know the answer, but she got no one to ask about it. There is another option, but it is impossible to do. She can't ask Johan the answer when there is most likely a fight going to happen, and Mary can't risk having a fight with Johan with the Ricci family problem is going on.

Alfonso took a deep breath before saying anything further to Mary. "He's wearing a symbol that indicates that he allianced with the Ricci family." Through the screen of his computer, Alfonso is carefully observing Mary's face. He is afraid that what he just said might blow a fuse in Mary's system.

Expecting Mary's anger, Alfonso was surprised that what he feared for didn't happen. "I see. He sure does know how to play his game. That cunning b.a.s.t.a.r.d." Mary sounded so calm. So calm that he is even more afraid than earlier.

She is not showing any signs of anger, and it worries him. He would rather have her blow her fuse than seeing her so calm, it is if that the news that he just said to her is nothing. But he knows that it's just nothing, it's more than anything at all.

"You're not expressing your anger. Why?" He asked.

"Why? It's simple really." Mary, on the other side of the screen, took a bottle of scotch out of her drawer, then she drank from it. "He made an alliance with that good-for-nothing family of mine, and there is nothing I can do about it since it's already in the past."

Through the screen, Alfonso can somehow feel the sadness in Mary's voice. Although the relations.h.i.+p between Mary and Johan are not the same between Mary and Leonardo, Mary does see Johan like her real brother.

However, she was betrayed by the person she called her brother. Alfonso saw how hurt Mary was back then. It was unbearable for Mary to the point she made herself disappear for a whole fifteen days straight.

During those days, Mary was grieving at the loss of her trust in the person she once called her brother.

"So, there is nothing you can do at all?" He asked.

"Of course, there is." Mary puts down the scotch that she was drinking, then she said to Alfonso in a serious tone, "I will make sure that whatever he may be planning right now, will not go at the way he wanted."

Both Mary and Alfonso talked about Johan for a couple of minutes, then they decided to change the topic. They talked about random things, and their screen time talk lasted for hours. In such a long time, Mary and Alfonso felt a bit relaxed after their talk.

In this life of theirs, they sometimes hate it. Also, sometimes they wish they had a life that none of the violence that they have experienced never happened.

Currently, Anna, Alexandre, Kyle, and Alfonso, are having their breakfast together. And from time to time, Alfonso is glancing at Kyle. That glances that Alfonso is giving to Kyle is making Kyle thinks that there is something that his uncle wants to ask him.

"Spit it out, Uncle. Is there something that you want to know?" Kyle spoke in a grumpy tone. His morning started in a very good mood, but because of his uncle's glances, his mood somehow dropped quickly.

"So Kyle, I heard from Anna that you are taking her somewhere special today? What kind of a place is that, hmm?" Alfonso asked with a meaningful smirk on his face. Though he is asking this question, Alfonso already knows where that place is. So Alfonso is not a bit worried that his nephew will not share it with him.

"It's none of your business, Uncle," Kyle replied firmly to Alfonso, and Alfonso snickered at the way Kyle is being way too secretive. Without even saying anything, Alfonso knows that Kyle is afraid that if he knew where Kyle is taking Anna, he might appear and ruin the surprise.

Unfortunately for Kyle, he already knew the location. His sister told him about it years ago. That was the place where Stan asked his sister to be his girlfriend and wife. That place has been a traditional one for the Robertson family.

That is the place where they ask the woman that they love to marry him. And since it is a very romantic place, Alfonso has no intention of ruining his nephew's plans. But instead, he would like to watch every moment of it whilst hiding from them.

"Boo! You're too much, Kyle. How can you be so selfish against me? If it weren't for me, do you really think that you will have the chance to come here?" Alfonso said. He is practically saying to Kyle that he owes him.

However, Kyle doesn't see it that way. "Uncle, you needed me to showcase your designs, and if you are going to put it like that, then I say that we are even." His uncle brought him and he helped his uncle yesterday. They both used each other, and there is no need to say that they owe each other.

Alfonso only glared at his nephew. He is very displeased at his nephew's reasoning. He just hates it when Kyle replies to him with that kind of logic, and to add more, with that kind of logic, he can't say anything back. It frustrates him.

"Anna! Look at this guy! Are you sure that you want to be with him for the whole day? He is so rude to me! I can't stand it!" Alfonso knows there is no slight chance that Anna will listen to him, but it is worth of chance. He wants to at least ruin bits of Kyle's plan.

While Alfonso and Kyle were having their talk, Anna was focusing on Alexandre. She didn't want to get involved in their conversation, but her uncle Alfonso have other things in mind.

Anna sighed before replying. "Uncle Alfonso, you know that I have been looking forward to this day with Kyle, and I think that you also know that I won't listen to a word you just said." Overall, what Anna is trying to say to Alfonso is that there is no need for Alfonso to try and convince her to ditch her plans with Kyle because she has already made up her mind.

Hearing that, Alfonso acted as if he is about to cry. "My dear Anna, you have been corrupted by that bad nephew of mine. You are actually not listening to me? I'm your favorite uncle!"

Whilst it is true that Anna seems to be closer to Alfonso, but the truth is that Anna's favorite uncle is actually Leonardo. But she is not gonna say that to Alfonso because it might actually make Alfonso cry for real.

"I'm done eating. If you're done, Anna, then let's go." Kyle said. He doesn't want to waste much more time with his dramatic uncle much longer or else, he might just lose his mind from watching him being way too dramatic.

"Let's get going then!" Without saying anything else, Anna pulled Kyle, then they walked away together, leaving Alfonso and Alexandre on the table.

Anna and Kyle are now currently in front of the hotel they are staying in. They looked like they are waiting for someone to arrive.

While thinking that they are waiting, Anna asked, "Are we going to the place you mentioned yesterday first?"

"Nope. We're going to the place that you want to go to first before going to mine." Kyle said with a smile.

"Wait. If you're saying that, then we're going to use my plan and not yours?" Since Kyle wanted to visit this unknown specific place, she thought that she will go be going along with Kyle's plan. But after hearing what Kyle just said, it seems like that only plan he has is for later.

"Silly girl, of course. Besides, ever since the plane took off to here, I know that you've been planning real hard for this day. How can I ever ruin yours, then put mine first?"
