"Now, now, there is no need for you to call my model like that. I'm only saying what I see and hear. And from my point of view, you are bullying her." She purposely said those words out loud. She wanted to make Alfonso looked like the bad guy here.

For years, she always has been behind Alfonso's shadow. She started her designing career way before Alfonso, and when her work is starting to get its attention that it deserves, Alfonso suddenly came into the picture and took her limelight in an instant.

Every time that she thinks she is rising, it is always Alfonso who took the top spot before she could even reach it. Since the routine has always been like that, she thinks that Alfonso is stealing everything that belongs to her in purpose.

Tomorrow, she swears that Alfonso will get what he deserves, humiliation. Everything that she had planned is going smoothly, but when she heard and saw that this little guy is Alfonso's son, she was very delighted because it's going to make her plan more entertaining.

"Your point of view with no stated facts." Alfonso stepped forward and look at this woman in the eyes. "For all the years that you have known me, woman, it seems like you have forgotten what kind of a person I am. If you want to make me look like the bad guy here, you better make sure you have a solid proof to prove that claim." Everyone in this place knows what kind of person Alfonso is. He is harsh, cold, and blunt to his words.

He won't hesitate about what is on his mind. They also know that Alfonso is not the type of person who would like to bully the weaker ones. And with this kind of accusing throwing at Alfonso, no one would believe her, and they would most likely think that she is trying to frame Alfonso.

The woman got nothing to say. Everyone knows the type of person Alfonso is, and yet she ignored that fact.

Anna stated at the woman, then she thought of her as someone stupid. 'How can she throw an attack to uncle Alfonso is she doesn't even know how to finish it into her own favor?'

"Not saying anything? Thought so." Alfonso turned his back on her, but before he leaves his spot, he said few more words to her. "Until tomorrow, don't ever try and talk to me, woman. I don't want my precious time to be wasting on you."

On their way to where Alfonso's models are, Anna suddenly asked a question. "Uncle, who was that woman?" 

Having an idea of who Anna is talking about Alfonso immediately answered her question. "That person's name is Catherine Rider, she's one of the influential designers in the world. She thinks of me as her rival, but I don't really pay much attention to what she thinks." 

It may sound like he's arrogant about his influence, Alfonso genuinely does not care about the range of his influence in the fas.h.i.+on industry. All he cares about is his work getting the attention that it deserves.

Apparently, Catherine does not share the same perspective as he is. What Catherine cares about is her popularity, that is why Alfonso doesn't like her.

"I don't know what kind of a person she is, but I can tell that she's going to cause you trouble, Uncle." Kyle honestly shared his opinion. From the moment his eyes landed of Catherine, Kyle can already tell that she is brewing some trouble for his uncle Alfonso. And he can't shake off that feeling.

"Don't worry, Kyle. No matter what kind of trouble she is going to give me, I can take and will counter-attack on her. She won't get away that easily." Alfonso replied with a mischievous smirk plastered on his face.

On an empty, Catherine is currently scolding the model who made a scene with Alfonso.

"What were you thinking spouting nonsense like that? Have I not told you to be careful with what you say? You're one of my models in this event, and everything that you might do will have an effect on me." She knows that this model had a rich family background, but she also knows that this model is not being supported by that family, so she is not worried about getting hit back by this model.

After all, she is the one who approached this model to wear her designs.

"Miss Rider, I am terribly sorry." The model said in a sincere tone. Although the person in front of her does not have the same influence Alfonso Dreyar has, there is no mistake that there some strings that she can do. This woman can still damage her, and if she does that there is no more chance for her to rise in the modeling industry.

"Terribly sorry?" Catherine scoffed when she heard that from her. "Apologizing to me is not gonna take you to the top, Allisa. Because of the ruckus that you made with those teenagers, you are banned from partic.i.p.ating in this event next year. Do you know what kind of headache you've given to me?" Because Allisa has a nice body curve, her designs can only be worn by someone like Allisa.

If Allisa can't partic.i.p.ate in next year's event, Catherine doesn't think that there will be time for her to search for a new one that has the same body as Allisa's.

Allisa didn't know what to say back. She stayed silent. Even if she does have some to say back to her, Allisa does not have enough courage to say it because she is indebted to Catherine after all.

Catherine is the one who introduced her to the current agency she is in contract now, and if she ever offends Catherine, there is high possibility Catherine can take everything away from her. So for now, all she can do is follow Catherine's words.

Seeing that Allisa is not saying a word, Catherina felt satisfaction that Allisa is being submissive. But the anger inside of her has not yet subsided. "Find a way to make Alfonso change his mind about you partic.i.p.ating next year. You are useful to me, Allisa, remember that. If I don't have you next year, I can promise you that you will have nothing left for you."

As soon as Catherine said that, she left the room, leaving Allisa's fear for her future.

"Boss, who is that?" One of the models asked Alfonso with a curious tone.

The moment Alfonso and the others arrived at their designated spot, all the models who are working alongside Alfonso were curious at the baby in Anna's arms. Apart from being an adorable baby, they all have one thing in mind that made them very intrigue, the baby looks a lot like Alfonso.

"That's my son," Alfonso replied nonchalantly. Even with the models that he trusted, Alfonso is still cold. He doesn't act like the way he acts towards his friends and family. "And before you ask, it was a long story and I don't want to tell any of you about it."

Hearing that, the models all sulk at how selfish Alfonso is. It is such a great shock for them to hear that their favorite designer has a son, and it is normal for them to want to know what happened.

Among all the models, there is one person who is way too friendly towards Alfonso and for some reason, she has not yet gotten herself in trouble because of it. "Out of curiosity, are you really gay or you're just pretending to be one because if you are pretending, I will definitely flirt with you." 

Bold. That the one word Anna and Kyle can say to that woman. They have never seen one person who can approach Alfonso like that.

The other models who heard that can't help but shake their heads at how bold she is. They knew for the fact that she has a big crush on Alfonso, and sometimes, whenever they see her being way too friendly towards Alfonso, they can't help but pity her. 

'Even if he is pretending, it's clear that you don't have a chance.' The models inwardly said.

With a frown on his face, Alfonso replied, "I am not pretending. And as I said, it's a long story." After saying that, Alfonso turned around, then walks towards the table where his list of things is.

The model pouted when she heard that response, then her eyes landed on Anna, Kyle, and the baby. She walks towards them, then she introduces herself, "h.e.l.lo! I'm May Jones!"

'Jones...' Anna inwardly repeated that May's last name in her mind.
