Alexandre just woke. And he isn't exactly the type to act like a well-behaved boy when he just woke up. He gets cranky and won't stop crying for at least ten minutes. Since that is the case, Alexandre started to cry and it startled Lannie.

"Lannie, you should really need to learn how to restrain yourself when it comes to your cousin." Layla understands how much her daughter adores Alexandre, however, sometimes it is just too much. For a baby like Alexandre, who is somewhat the same as Alfonso, Layla first hand knew that Alexandre is a hard one to handle.

"I-I didn't know." Lannie defended herself." Lannie is afraid that his favorite angel will not heed any attention to her because of what she just did. Just thinking that her plan to have her favorite angel playing with her has failed is making Lannie's heart breaks into two. If she had known in the first place, she would not have done that.

"Even if you didn't know, you should at least restrain yourself." Sometimes, Layla wished that her daughter should be a little similar to Kyle. She wants her daughter to know how to be calm and collected in every situation. But no matter how many times she wishes for it, her wish won't ever come true.

"Sister, you shouldn't be like that to Lannie. You know how much she loves Alexandre. It's not like she knew that this little angel just woke up." This trait that his son has is reminding how Pia was like.

He clearly remembers that there was a time that Pia just woke up and he told her that he wants to cancel one of his meetings because he was not in the mood, and that really ticked off Pia. Alfonso was surprised at the way she acted. She scolded him nonstop and had no choice but to not cancel his meeting.

Just remembering that piece of memory is making Alfonso sad. There is no else other than Pia to scold him like that ever again. And he has no plans on letting any to scold him like that either. Thinking like this, it made Alfonso realize that Pia did hold a special place in his life.

Layla sighed and didn't say a word to Alfonso's comment. She gave the baby back to Alfonso's hand and gave Lannie a big bad that contains clothing that Lannie needs for a three-day stay. "Anyways, I'll get going now. I have still had some business matters that I need to attend to." Layla said, then she drove off in her car.

Not a moment too soon, Anna's personal driving just came carrying her things that are packed by her mother. Just like Lannie, she is also staying over.

"Thank you, and please tell my mother that my brother needs another round of her scolding." Since Aaron didn't do what he was supposed to do today, Anna would be happy to let her mother know that Aaron needs another round of their mother's special words.

"Understood." He said, then he left.

"Wait. You're staying over too? Why didn't you tell me?" Lannie pouted. She thought that Anna was only staying over until dinner, but who would have thought that Anna will also be under the same roof as her.

Suddenly, a mischievous thought struck her mind. 'Hehe. My brother will definitely get jealous if I stay in the same bed as Anna.' She inwardly said.

Seeing that mischievous look on his niece's face, Alfonso got a feeling that Lannie will only bring trouble for herself. Since his guts are telling him that, he warned Lannie. "Lannie, whatever you are thinking, you better stop it now. It's not gonna do you any good at all."

"Whatever do you mean by that, Uncle?" Lannie pretended to act innocently. She can't let her uncle see through her plans. She's afraid that Alfonso might snitch on her.

"Do I really need to explain myself?" Alfonso spoke in a matter-of-fact tone. "It's getting darker. Let's go inside." He said. He's not even letting Lannie have the chance to reply back to him.

"Lannie, don't even think about provoking your brother," Anna said with a smile. By now, she is already used to Lannie's tactics. It was not too long ago when Anna accidentally saw Lannie sending a picture of her to Kyle.

Ever since she saw it, she has been very careful whenever Lannie is holding her phone. She doesn't want to take pictures of her not knowing, then send it to Kyle. If Lannie wants to do that, she has to at least let her know.

She wouldn't mind letting Kyle see pictures of her not stolen.

"So, you are not going to train under your father anymore?" Lannie asked out of curiosity.

"It's not like that. You can say that I'm going to start late since I'm going to help out uncle Alfonso, and I want to take a break away from that matter." Even if Anna would not want to help out her uncle Alfonso, her brother won't let her take part in the training. And since she doesn't want to have an argument with Aaron, Anna decided to agree with him.

"How about one of the elders of your family? Didn't you say that you're gonna have an undergo training with one of them?" From time to time Anna tells Lannie about what is happening inside of her family.

Though at first, Lannie is sure if it's okay for Anna to share all that has been happening inside the Coleman family to her. But after a few minutes of talking about it, Anna showed no sign of nervousness, so it made Lannie think that it was okay.

'Normally, it's not okay to talk about this matter to outsiders of the family, and if that is the case with Anna, it seems like she trusts me so much.' Lannie said inwardly. She has the urge to bragged to her brother, but she is restraining herself. 

"Well, I can start training under her tomorrow. For sure, I will be scolded tomorrow for not showing up today. But it doesn't really matter because it's about the family business, not the organization." The organization and Coleman's family business are two different things. And in Anna's case, she would come right away if it is about the organization.

"Shouldn't you be afraid of that elder?" Alfonso who happened to listen to the girls' conversation suddenly commented.

Alfonso felt gooseb.u.mps all over his body when he heard the name of the person who's going to teach Anna and Aaron. Even though he is not part of the Coleman family, he knows quite a lot of what is happening and knew the names of ever influential elders in the Coleman family.

One of the elders that he knows is Martha Cole, and that same woman made him go through h.e.l.l. Just remembering his experience with Martha Cole is making him depressed.

"I am, but there is no point if I keep myself hovering in fear right now." Since Martha is known for being strict and her punishment must not be taking so lightly, Anna is scared. She can't deny that. However, she is not letting her get through her.

The only thing that she can do is finish the training and free herself away from Martha.

"Hmmm... I wish I was just as courageous as you back then." Alfonso said in a low voice, but Anna and Lannie heard that.

"You were training under Elder Martha back then? How?" As far as she knows, Martha Cole doesn't like to share her life experiences and wisdom from people who are not part of the Coleman family, and it is surely surprising to know that Alfonso got some experience under that strict woman.

"Well, it all started when I said something so stupid and it angers her. And I'm not gonna go into details, that's all I'm gonna say to you." Alfonso would love to give Anna some advice, but he thinks that he should not.

Anna should learn how to deal with Martha Cole in her own way without anyone's help.

"Boo! You're no fun, Uncle." Lannie said, then she stood up and stretched her hands towards Anna. "Let's go to bed now, Anna. It's already late and we have school tomorrow."

Hearing that, Anna is quite surprised that it has gotten very late. She felt like time went by so fast. She's not even feeling the drowsiness inside her.

Anna and Lannie are now currently in their designated room. They both decided to sleep on the same bed.

While Anna is busy fixing her things, Lannie suddenly asks her a favor, "Anna can you please take a look inside my bag and see if my phone is in there." Anna didn't ask and just went to search for Lannie's phoned.

Anna's back is facing Nathalia, and since Anna can't see what Nathalia is doing behind her, Anna didn't notice that Lannie already has her phone in her hand.

Secretly, Lannie took a picture of Anna, then send it to her brother. "Sorry brother. I just want to provoke you tonight." Lannie mischievous said in a low tone.
