"I can't believe that our dear Kyle already has a lover! Erik! Why didn't you say a word about that to me at all?!"

Currently, Zedrick and Erik are at the place where they used to hang out when they were still high school students. Apparently, it's already night time and Zedrick's whole body is aching from moving around too much and it's all because of Kyle.

After Anna left the building, Zedrick was about to go home because he felt an anonymous feeling that Kyle is going to punish him, but the moment made a move, Kyle stopped him.

Kyle said to him that he is going to give him punishment for hugging Anna. He complained that Kyle shouldn't take the hug to seriously because he has no idea that there is something going on between them, to begin with.

Despite his reasons, Kyle wouldn't take it as an excuse. Since it has come to that, Kyle sure to use Zedrick to the fullest. He delivered a handful of papers in every department, and just when he thought that everything is over, Kyle gave another set of a handful of papers. Overall, Kyle treated him like a slave.

"Oh, you already knew about that? I was thinking of introducing her to you without Kyle being around. That guy can too aggressive if any guys come near Anna." Erik said. Even he, the guy who has been with Kyle since childhood, can't even touch Anna without Kyle's permission.

In Erik's opinion, Kyle was being ridiculous. At first, he thought that it's fun to tease Kyle by touching Anna in a friendly way, but soon after Anna leaves or the next day, Kyle immediately makes him experience h.e.l.l.

Just by looking at the tired Zedrick, Erik can tell that he went through h.e.l.l also.

"If I knew that Anna was the girl Kyle is attracted to, I wouldn't have to hug her," Zedrick complained like a baby to Erik, and Erik couldn't care less about it.

"You hugged her? Why would you hug her?" Although he knew that Zedrick is such a flirty guy, Zedrick would never hug a girl, he only flirts with words.

"Anna friends with my cousin and I just met her yesterday. I couldn't say any sweet words to Anna because of what was happening yesterday, and when I saw her earlier, I thought that today is the day I could do it. But who would have thought."

When Zedrick first saw Anna he thought that she is like any other girl, a type of girl who would blush when they saw him or hear his sweet words. But when Anna stared at him, she didn't blush, she looks at him with an ulterior motive, in which he already know what was it.

With the reason that Anna is not looking at him in the way he was expecting, he took an interest in her. However, his interest was completely shattered when he found out who's the person owning her heart.

"That's what you get from being too overly excited," Erik smirked at Zedrick.

"I called you here because I want you to comfort me, brother. Why are being such a meanie." Zedrick has a lot of personalities, sometimes it even confuses Erik. Zedrick never really shows the real him except in front of his family. Ever since his parents died, he decided to be like that.

"I'm being mean because I'm your friend. I'm not gonna say words that you want to hear, Zedrick." Hearing that Zedrick pouted. He understands what Erik said to him, but sometimes he just wants to hear good words from either of his friends.

Both Zedrick and Erik went silent after that. They don't know what else to say anymore. Whenever they call each other, they basically tell every interesting moment that has been happening to them.

As one of the people who can't stand the silence, Zedrick spoke, "I saw Kyle's sister for the first time, and she's quite a beauty." When Zedrick first saw Lannie, his instinct told him that Lannie is the type of person who will tease him whenever he makes a mistake. He will be friends with Lannie, but he will a distance between them, he doesn't want Lannie to tease him because it will not make him feel good.

"What? After Anna, your target now is Lannie? You shouldn't or else, Kyle and I will kill you." Erik threatened Zedrick, but instead of being scared, Zedrick looked slightly surprised.

"I understand that Kyle will me, but how come you're going to take part in it too?" Zedrick sense that someone fishy is going on and his instinct are telling him that he should find out what it is.

"Don't take this the wrong way, Zedrick. For me, Lannie is like a sister. I wouldn't want her to be one of your victims." Hearing Zedrick's question, Erik knew right away that Zedrick is pointing out something. Of course, without stretching out the conversation, Erik immediately made sure that Zedrick understood his intention.

Not believing a word from Erik, Zedrick only smirked at him and said, "Sure. Whatever you say. But she's really pretty though, I can't deny that." Zedrick can't erase the feeling that Erik sees Lannie more than just a little sister, and Erik is trying to deny that fact.

'If he accepts his feelings then, that would mean that between us three friends, I'll be the only one who's single! Oh! How tragic!' Zedrick inwardly said.

"That is true, and there's no denying that some pest are thinking of wanting to have her." As Erik said this, there a hint of irritation in his tone. Even the person himself knew that, and he's also irritated that he feels that way.

"I know I have no right to say this, but if you and Kyle are going to remove every guy who wants to woo Lannie, Lannie will never learn how to handle a relations.h.i.+p in the future." Zedrick didn't mean to say that Lannie should hastily be in a relations.h.i.+p, but experience in that matter really helps. It's like a guide to let you know what's the best way to handle things.

"I'm not, but Kyle is obviously doing that." Erik shares the same idea, but he is not saying his real thoughts out loud.
