"Yup. I got suspended for a slapping a girl in the face." Josh spoke as if what happened did not affect him at all.

"And instead of going home, you came here. Why is that?"

"Does my dear girlfriend doesn't like me spending time with her?" Josh spoke sweetly which is very different from his usual character. If someone else were to see him like this, they will have a hard time believing it.

They might even think that this Josh who is talking sweetly to a girl is a whole different person who has the same face of the Josh that Nathalia and the others know very well.

"Stop talking like that, you're creeping me out, babe." The first time that she and Josh met, Josh was indifferent towards her. Usually, she would have avoided unfriendly people like Josh, but there is something about Josh that lures her towards him.

She bravely approached and every time that she sees him, she tried very hard to his friend. To where they are now, both of them did not expect they would be in a relations.h.i.+p other than friends.h.i.+p. She won't say that she's regretting it, instead, she would say that she was grateful that they ended up together.

"Anyways, answer my question. Why did you come here instead of going home? I'm sure that your mother is looking for you." Although she has yet to meet Josh's parents, there is one thing that she knows about that she kept hearing from other social ladies and that would be, Josh's mother is a doting parent.

"She sure is looking for me. I mean look at this missed calls from her." Josh said as he showed the missed calls on his phone to his girl. "I don't want to go home just yet because I know what will I get once I get home. Besides, I want to spend time with you."

"Babe, I know you want to spend time with me, but I'm sure the main reason that you're here is that you want to sleep. Unfortunately, my apartment is not a place for you to sleep in when you are hiding from your mother." If the situation were different, she would let Josh sleep in her place as much as he wants to. Too bad, it's not.

"Fine. But you can also come with me since you don't have school today. This might be the time for you to meet my mother, Sylvia." Since his precious Sylvia goes into an all-girls school, they can only meet after school or during the weekends. Their schedule rarely matches that's why Josh never had the time to let Sylvia meet one of his friends of his parents.

Sylvia stared at Josh, and she sighed. "Are you seriously using me now so that your mother won't do anything to you when you get home?" Sylvia knows what kind of a man Josh is. Despite being quiet all the time and most people have no idea what he is thinking, she knows very well that Josh has a scheming mind. And truth to be told, she likes that part of him.

"You could say that. But I do want you to meet my mother. She's been wanting me to bring a girl over since I don't know when." Josh didn't even try to lie and just told Sylvia that is what he is planning. But when he said that he wants Sylvia to meet his mother, he was serious about it.

Lately, his mother kept on showing him pictures of some random girls, also telling him to meet one of them. He already told his mother that he is already in a relations.h.i.+p, however, she did not believe him. She thinks that he was lying.

"Fine." Suddenly, Sylvia feels nervous at the thought that she's going to meet Josh's mother. "Should I bring something as a gift to her?"

"Babe, your presence is already a gift. You don't have to worry too much about my mother. All you need to do is to look pretty and have a conversation with her." Although Josh said that, his words are not helping Sylvia at all.

'You're telling me to look pretty in front of her?' Sylvia inwardly asked. In her mind, if she does that, Josh's mother might think that she's like any other rich girl who only wants to look pretty. Sylvia doesn't want to leave a mark like that to Josh's mother.

In a room full of books, there was a woman sitting near the fireplace reading a book. She looks so elegant and fragile, but despite that, she also looks like someone who a person shouldn't be messing with.

A few moments later an old man wearing a full black suit came to bring news to this certain woman. "Madame, young master Josh has arrived home."

"Is that so?"

"Yes." Without waiting for his Madame to reply back to him, the old man made a way for her.

"Are you sure that it's a great idea to let me meet your mother? What if she doesn't like me?" What worries Sylvia the most is what if Josh's parents don't like her and they might force her to stay away from their son.

Just the thought of that is not making Sylvia happy and also she felt like she wants to cry right at this moment.

Noticing that the talkative Sylvia is way too silent, Josh looks at her and was surprised that she's about to see a tear in her eyes. "Sylvia, what's wrong?" He asked.

"I'm having the jitters."  Slyvia's voice shook. "What if your mother doesn't like me? What if she forces us not to see each other anymore?" Ever since she realized her feelings for Josh, Sylvia is determined to have a future with Josh. And even though, Josh doesn't say it, she knows that Josh also feels the same way as her.

"If she doesn't approve of us, then I will just have to disobey her and just be with you." Josh just couldn't understand why Sylvia has worry about such nonsense, he knows his mother very well and he is sure that his mother will approve of Sylvia right away.

Though seeing how she really cares about their relations.h.i.+p does make him feel very happy. Now he understands why his father is happy being right next to his mother. He also understands why his father sometimes says that he is scared of losing his mother.

'I never knew I could be like this.' Josh inwardly said.

While Josh and Sylvia are having their talk, the workers who are watching them are in shock. They are having a hard time believing that their young master Josh actually brought a girl, and on top of that, their young master Josh is being gentle towards her.

"Am I dreaming?" Said one of the maids.

"No. You're not dreaming. G.o.d. I feel like I wanna cry. I so happy."

"What are all you doing here doing nothing?" The old man asked as soon as he noticed that the maids are standing at one place doing nothing and only gossiping with each other.

The maids turn around and saw the old man climbing down the stairs along with the Madame of this mansion. "Madame butler Dojo." The maids lower their heads as they say that.

"M-Madame Agatha, the young master brought a girl home." As soon as she heard that from the maid, Agatha immediately searched for her son.

The moment she saw his son being so gentle towards a girl she has never met before, she somehow forgot the anger she had on her son earlier. Excitement immediately filled her up inside. She is about to take her first step towards her son, but butler Dojo stopped her.

"Madame Agather, please don't scare the girl." Knowing Agatha, the butler is worried that she might scare the girl Josh brought with him. "You're too excited."

"You don't have to worry, I know how to act in front of our most precious guest today." In an instant, Agatha turned into a person that the public knows best.

From not so far away from them, Sylvia noticed someone approaching them. She took a glance at who it is, and she was surprised to see such a beautiful woman. Without a doubt, she can tell who is this woman, Josh's mother.

There are five women that are well-known in high society. Those five are the Madames of their family, the Robertsons, the Colemans, the Vendallins, the Fischers, and lastly the Vissers. In high society, no one could ever compare to how they handle themselves, that is why so many missuses are jealous of them.

"Josh, my dear son, would mind telling me who's this young lady is?" Agatha sounded like a sweet mother, but for some reason, Sylvia felt that Josh's mother is interrogating Josh for bringing a girl like her over.

"Mother, this is Sylvia Monique, my girlfriend."
