Anna puts down her book, then looks at Tess.  "No. I don't feel like cooking anything today." It's clear as day that Anna is in no mood to do anything.

Seeing Anna like that is making Tess worry about her. "Why? Are you in bad terms with Kyle?" Inside the mansion, it's no secret to everyone that Anna is making food just for Kyle, and for her not to make anything must mean that something bad had happened.

Before Anna could even say a word, her brother, Aaron interrupted her. "Nanny Tess, they're not on a bad term. She just felt discouraged because of what Zen to her earlier." Aaron can't believe that his sister actually believes the words that came out of Zen's mouth. "If I were you, dear sister, I will not let that guy's words get into my head."

"What did he said to her?" Seeing that Zen's words really affected Anna, Tess is not curious about what did Zen said to her.

After hearing that question, Aaron gladly told Tess everything that happened earlier. Tess could not help but sigh after hearing Aaron's story. Just like Aaron, Tess is having a time believing that Zen's silly words really affected her this much.

"Anna, Zen is like his father. They both like to say nonsense things. So please, don't let Zen's words affect you. Besides, don't act out on impulse without confirming it with Kyle." Before Zack got himself married, Tess really wished for Zack to have a kid that does not have his exact personality. Unfortunately, her wish didn't come true.

Zen is also the same as his father. 'Even his son is giving me headaches now.' Tess inwardly complained.

"That's right. You should really listen to what Nanny Tess is saying to you." As soon as possible, he wants his sister to be in a good mood for them to properly do their mission. "And also, get rid of that dark aura of yours, we have to do our work later, remember?."

If his sister keeps on her negative att.i.tude for later, then it will gonna be a problem for him because it's going to bother him. Besides, he wants his sister's other personality to come out. They both have plans to make that man talk tonight.

"You're right! I shouldn't let Zen's words get to me! But I am seriously in no mood to make anything for Kyle." Despite saying that, Aaron and Tess can tell that Anna is not letting it go anytime soon.

Aaron sighed before saying anything else, "Anna, you do what you have to do, but I hope that you have your game face on for later because we both want our uncle James to know his place, right? And if we don't do this properly, our dear father will steal the limelight from us."

"Brother, I know how to prioritize things in certain situations. You don't have to worry about me. I won't let my emotions get in the way of our goal." Anna is different from the person she was before. The person she was once, is the type of person who always lets her emotion gets the best of her.

Her uncontrollable emotions are one of the reasons why she got herself fooled by the bad people around her. 'I know better now.' Anna inwardly said.

"Son, are you waiting for something to arrive?" Stan asked his son in a teasing way. He knows exactly what his son is waiting for, but he just couldn't help himself. He just loves to tease his son on every chance he gets.

Kyle looks at his father and didn't say a word. Ever since Anna decided to send him the dishes that she made, his father always teases him. At first, he is annoyed by him, but eventually, he got used to it. However, he is in no mood to entertain his father today.

"My dear brother, don't expect anything today because someone just messaged me that Anna is not making anything for you today." Lannie who decided to visit her father and brother suddenly got a message from a certain someone that Anna won't be able to make anything for her brother.

When Lannie first heard from Anna that she's been making food for her brother, Lannie got sulky at Kyle. She asked him why didn't tell her about it, but her brother's reply only annoyed her. The reason why she wants to know if something good has happened between her brother and Anna is that she wants to be the first one to know the new things that are going on between them.

'I want to tell my future niece or nephew about their parents' love story! And yet! Brother is being too selfis.h.!.+ He won't tell me anything!' Lannie inwardly complained.

"Who told you that?" In Kyle's mind, he doesn't a word that came out of his sister's mouth. But there is a part of him that says that he should believe and ask who gave her that information.

"Anna's best friend, Nathalia. Well, to be exact, she said that Anna might not cook for you anymore because someone said to Anna that you only like her cooking because you like her and you don't want to hurt her feelings." What Lannie is trying to say, which Kyle understands very well is that Kyle actually did not like the food Anna made for him.

"What? What nonsense talk is that?" Kyle spoke with a frown. "I liked her food. I genuinely like every food that she made for me." It might be harsh for Anna to hear, but if he didn't like it in the first place, then he would say it to her face to face. There is no need for him to hide something like that from her.

"Well, maybe she's not convinced that you liked her food since she believed someone else's words." Kyle's father said in a matter of fact tone. "If you want Anna to only believe in you, you really start asking me for advice, son. I can promise you that everything that I will tell you is going to work." Every now and then, Stan always tries to convince his son to come looking for him for romantic advice.

However, no matter many times he offers his advice to him, his son always turns him down. It really saddens him every time he says he does not want any help from him. 'This might be my chance to finally show off my skills!'

"Daddy, stop. I'm sure that dear brother over here doesn't need your cheesy romantic advice." Lannie immediately said something on her father's statement. In her opinion, her big brother is a cool guy, and what her brother should do is not follow their father's over the top advice.

She knows this well because the last time that she did follow her father's advice, she was embarra.s.sed by herself. Even now, she still can't believe that she did such a shameful act. Just thinking about is giving her the s.h.i.+vers.

"My dear daughter, you should be on my side! Besides, I have experience of pursuing a girl." Stan is trying to say that his son has no experience when it comes to girls, and the only person his son can ask when it comes to romantic advice is him. He has a great experience with it.

Kyle rubs his forehead before saying a word to his father. "Dad, no offense, but Anna and Mom are two different people, different ways to approach them. And I'm sure whatever advice you'll give me, it's not gonna work on Anna."

Kyle appreciates his father's effort on trying to help him, but his father's way of helping him is not very helpful at all. So it's better to give his father a straight forward answer. It may be harsh, but it is what it is.

"Anyways, who told Anna that I'm only pretending to like the food she makes for me?" Clearly, Kyle is upset at the person who poisoned Anna's mind. He has been working so hard for Anna's trust and love, and yet, one person only said a few words and his hard work is slowly starting to crumble.

"You know, one of Anna's best buddies. The fun one, the happy go lucky one?"

"Lannie, can you just give a direct name instead of riddles?" Aside from Leon and Nathalia, Kyle no idea who is Anna's other friends and also, Anna never mentioned any one of them to him. But then again, he didn't ask Anna of who are the people around her.

'Maybe I should start learning about them, then this way, I might learn something new about her.'

"Big brother, you know how to search up people's information. Just a few hits on the keyboard, you can easily know who are the people that surrounds Anna." Since Zen is a guy, her brother might ask her a lot of questions about Zen.

She never saw her brother get jealous personally, but she has this feeling that she does not want to see it.
