After Elizabeth let go of her hand and walk away from her, Rebecca curled her hands into a fist and is trembling from anger. She hates the fact that Elizabeth is looking down at her, and also the fact that Elizabeth is not treating as an equal.

Just because she is not on the same level of social standing like the others in this school, that doesn't mean that Elizabeth should look down on her. Despite her background, her skills are just as good as theirs, maybe much better than theirs.

"She and Anna are just the same! Do they think they are better than me? Heh! Well, they're being delusional!" Rebecca mumbled to herself.

Once she is done with Anna, Rebecca promised herself that she will make Elizabeth regret looking down on her. Once she and Juan have all the resources and powers that they need, they both don't have to worry about Anna or Elizabeth getting in their way.

As she is thinking about Juan, she wonders why Juan has not been responding to messages and calls.

"I never knew that you can be so aggressive," Aaron was amazed at the show Nathalia was giving to everyone earlier. He never knew that Nathalia can be as cold as her father is.

Aaron now sees Nathalia in a brand new light. He would like to more of that side of her in the future, but he likes that sweet and gentle side of Nathalia more. Her sweet and gentle side is what caught his attention.

Then again, whatever side Nathalia shows to him, his att.i.tude and his way of interacting with her will never change.

"Aggressive? I don't think I was being aggressive towards her."

"If you're not being aggressive with her, then what is it?" No matter what Nathalia says, everyone who saw what happened would think that she is being aggressive with that girl.

In what way did Nathalia think that she was not being aggressive?

"I don't know, but all I can say is that I'm only telling her the truth about what Elizabeth really sees her as." Even though Nathalia won't say it, Aaron can tell that in some ways Nathalia is helping that girl to not fall to any of Elizabeth's words that are full of lies.

Nathalia doesn't want the girl to go on the same path as her. That kind of heart that Nathalia shows is one of the aspects why he is mesmerized by her.

"Whatever you say, Nathalia." As they are walking around the school, the bell of their first-period cla.s.s has rung which means they have to go. However, Aaron is not in the mood to go to their cla.s.s. Looking around, Aaron found saw an empty laboratory room and an idea suddenly came into his mind. "Let's go there. n.o.body will notice if we go there."

"You want to skip cla.s.s?" Nathalia asked with a frown plastered on her face while she is being dragged by Aaron towards the laboratory room.

"Yes."

"You can skip cla.s.s alone. Don't get me involved." Nathalia tried to get out of Aaron's grip, but her strength is not enough to go against his.

"Come on! You said that I needed someone to talk to, and this is the chance for that." Aaron said in a matter of fact tone, and Nathalia only looks at him as he had said something so stupid.

"Yes. I did say that. But I didn't mean it for me to skip cla.s.s. Goodness gracious, Aaron." Skipping a cla.s.s is something Nathalia would never do because the last time she did skip a cla.s.s with Josh and Zen, they got in big trouble with their mothers. 

They took their devices and was grounded for a month. For the whole month, they were bored to death. They could not handle it. Since then, the three of them decided not to skip their cla.s.ses ever again.

"Geez, Nathalia. Don't be such stuck up. If you keep doing that, you're going to be like Josh." In their group of friends, Josh is the only person who always has to say negative words about everything that is happening to them.

Josh rarely initiates doing fun things, and sometimes people would say that Josh is the boring person to be with. However, the part that they say that Josh is boring is not quite true. He might be like that in a way, but when Josh opens his mouth to comment, one should ready itself for an upcoming harsh comment.

Every comment that Josh makes, even though it is harsh, it has never been a dull moment. Well, that's what Aaron thinks.

"Whether you like it or not, you're gonna stay with me." Whether Nathalia agreed to skip cla.s.s with him or not, Aaron is not really giving her a choice because right now all he wants to spend time with Nathalia.

While the teacher is preparing his things to start the cla.s.s, Anna who is sitting quietly was approached by someone. Someone who she doesn't want to talk to today.

"You're alone. That's rare."

"Go away, Leon. I don't want to talk to you today." Anna understood that Leon was only doing what he did base on her father's orders. But she still feels betrayed that Leon didn't tell her anything or even give a hint about the truth.

"Anna, if you think that I was not being true to you, then you are wrong. The Leon that you know is still the same Leon that is standing in front of you." From the moment he started to talk to Anna, Leon decided to stay true to her. He has no reason to pretend in front of Anna, and he will never do it.

Anna looks at him, then groaned. "Stop making that face! You're annoying as always!" Anna would like to push Leon away, but how can she reject a sincere guy like Leon?

Even she can feel that Leon has been true to her since the beginning of their friends.h.i.+p. He gave off a vibe that is so different from the people around her. It's a good vibe instead of a bad one. Amongst the people that surround her, Leon has always been the unique one, and she likes it very much.

A smile appeared on Leon's face, then he sat next to Anna. As soon as he does that, the teacher finally started the lesson for the day.

As they were listening to the teacher, a question suddenly pops into Leon's mind. "Hey Anna, are you angry at Kyle?"
