"Is there anything else you can tell me about your parents?" Anna asked gently as she carried him in her arms.

"Both my dad and mom are very tall! Like this!" The little guy said as he raised his hand up high, indicating the height of his parents. Anna finds his actions very cute. "My mom has blue eyes like mine!"

As the little guy is telling Anna the description of his parents, a certain guy behind them has a look on his face that describes that he is displeased.

He's displeased by the fact that this little guy suddenly appeared and interrupted his alone time with Anna. He has this urge to throw that little guy away, but he knows that if he does that, Anna will get angry at him.

At this moment his only choice is to find the little guy's parents and after that, he will have his alone time with Anna again.

Kyle looks at the little guy, and he is surprised that the little guy is looking right back at him. He is about to say something, but he halted when he saw a smile appeared on the little guy's face.

Kyle is not sure if he is seeing things, but the way his brain functions it is that the little guy is smirking at him. It is more like the little guy is making fun of him.

'Am I imagining it or not?'

"Pretty sister, who's that ugly brother following us from behind?" Kyle heard it loud and clear, and a smile appeared in his face, but it's not his usual gentle smile that he shows to Anna. The worst part of all this is the way the little guy asked. It sounded so innocent that he could not tell if it's intentional or not.

When Anna heard that, she almost stumbled on her feet. She did not expect that question from a kid. She secretly glances back at Kyle, somehow she is hoping that Kyle is not annoyed by the little guy's innocent question.

"Little darling, there is no ugly brother following us from behind. You must be seeing things." Since Anna is not sure whether Kyle is annoyed or not, Anna corrected the little guy. But the little guy frowned at Anna.

"Pretty sister, I'm not seeing things. I see an ugly brother who is following us from behind." No matter what Anna says, in the little guy's perspective, the brother that is following them from behind is ugly. "Pretty sister, if you think that guy is handsome, then something is wrong with your eyes."

Anna wanted to defend Kyle's handsome face, but she can't argue with a child for something as simple as this. Kids at his age, say whatever comes into their mind. Somehow, Anna is glad that little Alexandre is not at that age yet.

"Brat, I think your eyes are at fault here, not hers." Kyle felt really pleased that Anna corrected the little guy, but that little guy sure is stubborn, he kept on saying that he's ugly.

To be fairly honest, Kyle doesn't care if he is ugly or not, but for some reason, every time the little guy says that he is ugly, he feels irritated by it.

"Ugly brother, my eyes are totally fine. Between you and me, I'm the handsome one." The little guy declares with a proud expression on his face.

"This 'ugly brother' has a name and that's 'handsome brother Kyle'. And you're being delusional, brat, the word handsome to describe your appearance is far-fetched."

"Well, this 'brat' has a name too, ugly brother and that's Ray. Also, I am not being delusional, I'm stating facts here." It's clear from Ray's tone that he does not like Kyle. Both Anna and Kyle could not understand why.

From the way Ray talks, it seems that Ray is a smart one and has a sharp tongue. For a moment, Anna would like to see Ray and Kyle argue, she thinks that it would be interesting to watch. But that idea was immediately erased, she needs to find Ray's parents and resume her time alone with Kyle.

"Little brat, I can see that you are a smart one, and you know that I'm bigger and stronger than you, right? I can just throw you in the pond whenever I want to." It's official, Kyle is annoyed by Ray. He hates that way Ray calls him, talks back to him, and worst is that Ray is hugging Anna's neck.

He can't even do that kind of move, so why is it that Ray has the right to do that?

Acting like a frightened kid, Ray looks at Anna and said, "Pretty sister, this ugly brother is scary. We should get away from him, he might hurt you. I don't want this ugly brother to hurt pretty sister."

"What do you mean 'get away from him'? She's with me and she should stay with me. Who do you think you are, little brat? I think you're the who's going to hurt her." Kyle said and it is clear in his tone that he really wants to throw Ray to the pond near them.

If Kyle's family sees him acting like this, they would laugh at him and scold him for having this kind of conversation with a child. The worst thing that could happen if they see him, Lannie would tease her brother nonstop and she might even make friends with Ray and make a deal with him just to annoy her brother.

Ray was about to say something, but someone suddenly calls his name in a worried tone. "Ray!"

Both Ray and Anna looks at where that voice came from, and saw a woman and a man walking towards them. Their appearance fits the description Ray gave earlier. Anna turns her attention towards Ray and somehow she was surprised by the expression in Ray's face. He seemed annoyed and disappointed that these two had found him. But that expression on his face disappeared seconds later.

When the two are in front of them, Anna spoke cautiously, "Are you Ray's parents?" Anna is not going to give Ray to anyone that easily. She has to make sure that they are telling the truth first.

"Pretty sister, there's no need to be cautious. This is my mommy and daddy!" 

"The kid is telling the truth, you should let his parents have him," Kyle said, completely different from how he talked to Ray earlier. Unlike Anna, he does not care whether these people are Ray's parents or not, as long as Ray is far away from Anna, he is fine whoever takes Ray away.

With Kyle's rea.s.surance, Anna let Ray's mother carry him. Ray's parents said their thanks to Anna and Kyle.

They are about to leave, but Ray stopped his parents, then faces Anna again. "Pretty sister, when I'm big and strong, I'm gonna take you away from that ugly brother."
