Chapter 261 - Revenge 262: I Would Never Cheat On Her!

"You wouldn't fool around," Leonardo replied. No matter how much he hates Arion right now,  he knew that the number one thing that Arion really care for is family.

Risking the life of his family is the least thing Arion would like to do. "So, do you believe me now?" Arion can't have Leonardo kept on doubting and gets angry at him at the same time. He needs Leonardo to make his plan work. His long-time plan should be on the move now that someone has shown itself as a threat.

"I believe that you care for your family, but what you said earlier is something impossible for me to believe." When he first heard what Arion has been doing all these years, Leonardo finds it hard to believe.

"Come on Leo! I am being serious here! Can't we just get on the same page for once?!" From the moment he met Leonardo, they have never been on the same page. The only person Leonardo listened to is Mary and Crona; Leonardo won't listen to anyone other than them.

Sighing, Leonardo spoke, "Let's say I'm believing every word that you said..." As Leonardo is saying this he looks at Arion in the eye, "Out of all the people that you've known, why did you contact me and not Mary?"

As Arion was thinking earlier, Leonardo knows that he and Arion never been on the same page, and it seems that they will never be on the same page. It makes Leonardo wonder why did Arion contacted him first when Arion already knew that he will doubt him.

"First of all, Mary is not going to be involved in this until the plan works, and secondly, even though our relations.h.i.+p is not good, you are the only person who I can trust with this matter." Zack and Mike can be reliable in any situation, but in this particular case, Leonardo is the only one Arion can work along with.

Leonardo was about to reply back to Arion, but a cure little sneeze was heard in the room. Looking at the direction where it came from, Leonardo frowns when he saw the young lad who is with Arion. Because of his anger with Arion, he had forgotten about that little lad.

"Please tell me that this kid is not your child and you were not cheating on Mary—"

"Leo! Seriously?! Can't you at least trust my love for Mary? I would never cheat on her!" Arion felt really offended that Leonardo can't even trust him on his love for Mary.

Arion at Leon and gave the little lad a glare. It is because of Leon that Leonardo accused him of cheating on Mary. If Leo had not played the role of being his son as part of their disguise, then Leonardo won't be accusing him of something so ridiculous. But then again, he also played along with Leon, so in the end, he and Leon are at fault for making Leonardo think that way.

Seeing the reaction that Arion is making right now, Leonardo sees that Arion is telling him the truth. For a moment, Leonardo felt that he wanted to beat the h.e.l.l out of Arion. But thankfully he won't have to do such tiring thing.

"You better not be cheating on her," Leonardo said in a warning tone. Although Leonardo already believed that Arion is not cheating on Mary, he still has to make Arion take note that if he ever cheats on Mary, there will be a grave consequence that he will have to face.

In the midst of warning, Arion about cheating on Mary, a burst of sudden laughter was heard in the room. Both Leonardo and Arion glared at the owner of that laughter.

"What are you laughing at, you brat?" Arion asked.

Before answering to Arion's question, Leon wiped the tear at the corner of his eyes. "I'm sorry. It's just too funny to listen to you guys."

Leon did not expect Leonardo Vendallin to react that way at the thought of his boss cheating on Mary Coleman. If this is how Leonardo reacted, Leon wonders if the others will also react the same way as Leonardo.

"Brat, it's not funny." Arion could not understand why Leon find this very funny. Leonardo just accused him of cheating on his wife, and now his subordinate is laughing at the situation that he is in.

Shouldn't Leon be defending him because he is his superior?

"Yes, yes, I'm sorry." Leon sad, finally calming himself down.

"Anyways, Arion, I can't help you until you have given me proof of what you said is all the truth. Just mentioning that guy's name is a heavy topic for me, so please, provide me some proof." After Leonardo had said his piece, he stood up and went straight towards the door. He does not have much tolerance for being in the same room as Arion.

He is still angry at Arion, and if he stayed here longer than he needed, Leonardo is afraid that he might exhaust himself for punching Arion's face again and again. 'Better leave now.' He inwardly commented.

As Leonardo is walking his way out of the library, he saw two familiar faces. He got close to them and saw the seriousness in their faces. It seems to him that they both are having a big problem at hand.

Curious at what is their problem, Leonardo spoke to them. "What are the two of you are doing?"

When they heard Leonardo's voice, they were slightly startled. "Uncle Leo, I didn't expect to see you here."

"Well, expect the unexpected." He said. "You twins are up to something again. Tell me what's your scheme this time, Aaron?" Lately, Mary has been telling him that the twins are doing dangerous missions without her knowing, and it seems that what the twins are doing right now is a mission that Mary has no idea about.

"Scheme? That's a bit too much to say, uncle Leo." Aaron said with a frown plastered on his face. "We're on a manhunt for our mother."
