"Date? What on earth are you talking about, grandfather?" Aaron asked as if he did not know that his sister and Kyle were together earlier. He did this purposely because he wanted to see how far can Juan entertain him.

"Juan told me that he saw your sister and Kyle together in a cafe," Marcus said still no sign of anger in his face. Anna's brows knitted when she noticed that her grandfather is not showing any sign of anger. Usually, her grandfather would get angry if he were to know that she and Kyle are together.

She wanted to know what her grandfather is really thinking, but she shrugged it off; whatever her grandfather might think, her plan for this moment won't change.

"Dear sister, Juan just accuse you of being with Kyle earlier," Aaron said as he tries to suppress the smile that is forming in his face. Anna noticed that her brother is trying hard not so smile; she inwardly smirks and gave her brother a look, 'Don't you dare blow this up, brother."

"What nonsense!" There was a hint of disappointment plastered on Anna's face, "Grandfather, do you really believe what Juan just said to you without confirming it to me?" Anna puts down the cup on her hands to the nearest table, then sat next to her grandfather keeping her act of being falsely accused.

"I don't..." Earlier when Juan told him that his precious granddaughter was with Kyle earlier this day, he felt that there was something amiss. "I am only asking a question, but if Juan were to provide me a piece of evidence that you and Kyle were at the cafe earlier, then I'll believe it."

Marcus was deeply disappointed at Juan, he had told Juan many times before that if he were to tell him something that involves his grandchildren Juan should show him evidence of his grandchildren's doing.

When Juan heard that, he gritted his teeth in frustration; he just remember what Marcus told him many times before. But when he thinks about it more, shouldn't Marcus believe whatever he says to him? Ever since Kyle appeared in the picture, Marcus seems to believe him more than Anna; Juan wonders what has changed. 'Tsk! It must be because of  Kyle's constant visit to this old man.'

Just like what Anna predicted, Juan is so engrossed on bringing Anna down that he forgets to do the most basic things.

"I clearly saw you with Kyle earlier, Anna. Why do you have to lie to your grandfather?" Not giving up, Juan said things that came into his mind without much of a thought. It made him sound so desperate, 'That's a wrong use of tone, dear Juan.' Anna inwardly said.

"Juan, how dare you say that my sister is lying? My sister was watching the game I was in earlier, so how is it possible that my sister went on a 'date' with Kyle in a cafe?" Aaron crossed his arms and glared at Juan.

Juan paused for a moment when he heard that; it is true that Anna went to watch her brother's game. But there is no guaranteeing that she really went there.

Seeing that expression on Juan's face, Anna can tell what he is thinking. "Yes! I was watching the game, if you really insist that I went out with Kyle, you can ask uncle Mike or uncle Zack, even mom! You can ask them for the truth!"

Anna knows that Juan is scared to face her mother, Zack, and Mike; using their names to shut his mouth is really a great tool for Anna to use. Though, she can't blame Juan for not able to face those three without breaking a sweat because her mother and the others truly are scary to other people who are a stranger to them.

Juan kept on cursing Anna on his mind for being such a spoiled brat. He knows that Anna is only acting and Aaron is playing along with her. 'How dare she say that I'm lying. I clearly saw her at the cafe with Kyle!' Juan doesn't believe what Aaron said; he thinks that Anna went on a date with Kyle instead of watching her brother's game.

"Hmmm... mentioning those uncles of yours, then my grandchildren must be telling the truth." In all his years of living, Marcus only trusts a few people and those few people include Mike Visser and Zack Fischer. If his granddaughter is saying that Mike and Zack were at the game watching then he believes it.

Marcus gave Juan a stare, a stare that is saying that he is very displeased by Juan's accusation to his precious granddaughter.

Seeing that displeased expression on her grandfather's face, Anna was satisfied, but it is not enough to fill that satisfaction that she needed.

While her grandfather is not looking at her, Anna secretly sends the picture to her grandfather's phone. 'You're unable to defend yourself now, Juan. I wonder what will you do once grandfather sees that disgusting photo.' Anna inwardly laughs in excitement.

Aaron who is grinning at Juan's pathetic face saw a glimpse of smile plastered on his sister's face. 'Ah, you already send grandfather that picture?' Somehow Aaron felt that it is too soon for his sister to show the picture to their grandfather because he had not savored the satisfaction of seeing that pathetic look on Juan's face.

Marcus was about to say something to Juan, but his left pocket suddenly vibrated; out of curiosity, Marcus held back his words and took out his phone. 

Juan, on the other hand, was observing how Marcus' expression from no emotion to anger. Juan suddenly felt that the temperature of the room drop in an instant. He wonders what is the cause of the old man's anger.

Without any hint of movements, Marcus suddenly stood up. That sudden action shocked Juan especially when Marcus stood in front of him. Juan wanted to ask what is the matter, but Marcus' big hand painfully went across his cheek.

He was shocked; he is not sure what had just happened. Even Anna and Aaron were shocked, they did not expect their grandfather to literary slap Juan in the face. Even though they were shocked by it, they are very satisfied with their grandfather's reaction.
