Once Zijin said that, she realized that that did seem to be the case. It was Qiao Nan who had wrecked their family of three and had purposely driven a wedge between her and Old Qiao. No wonder Old Qiao had insisted on getting a divorce from her and had refused to share a bed with her. It must have been that wretched girl, Qiao Nan, who instructed Old Qiao to do all these things.

Ding Jiayi broke out in a cold sweat upon learning about just how evil and vicious Qiao Nan was. She did not even let her own family off the hook! Thinking about how scary and terrible Qiao Nan was, Ding Jiayi could not help but support Qiao Zijin. “Zijin, that wretched girl, Qiao Nan, almost caused your dad and me to get a divorce! Should we distance ourselves from her in the future?”

Why had Ding Jiayi been so unscrupulous in helping Qiao Zijin at the expense of Qiao Nan? It was not only because she had been the one to give birth to Qiao Nan. If it was indeed true that Qiao Nan had such intentions and could harden her heart to do such things to the Qiao family, she would never have the guts to dream of taking Qiao Nan’s things without thinking of Qiao Nan’s feelings.
