108 Tree Travels Part 20

This mansion, by far, has been the biggest and most glamorous one I've seen so far. The entire residence has this glaze of monetary s.h.i.+ne. The whole place is laid out like a medieval castle, but instead of stone, it's made out of pure glossy white marble. It looks like a building straight out of a fantasy novel. We pull into the large driveway, wide enough to fit 3 caravans, and started unpacking.

Sven, frustrated by the sight, snuck away to explore the large estate. I moved my consciousness to one of the seeds attached to his clothing and followed along just in case anything bad happens.

Crawling through some bushes, Sven eventually encounters a tall tower made out of that same gla.s.sy white marble. It resembles the tower Rapunzel was trapped in. It was hidden by the surrounding trees that were equally as tall, if one didn't know about it beforehand, there was no way to know there was a tower here.

A curved metal door was located at the base of the tower. Sven walked over to inspect it. He tried pulling it open but it was locked, then he started walking around the circ.u.mference of the tower.

I was wondering what he was up too, then I realized that curiosity got the best of him. Before I could do anything, he started climbing up a tree. A tree that just so happened to be close to a window at the top of the tower.

He climbed the tree until he was eye level with the closed wooden window. There was still a couple feet of distance between the tree and window, and there was no ledge to hand on to so Sven stayed on the tree.

Just as I thought he was going to give up and climb back down to look for another way inside, he took out some stones from his pocket and started chucking them at the window, making a knocking sound.

Oh, he picked these stones up when he was walking around the tower. Did Sven really think did far ahead to know he would need the stones? Amazing. But...throwing them at the window...

It reminds me of the kids who threw eggs at people's houses on Halloween. A nasty prank. I can't help but be worried that the stone will dent or damage the window.

It seems my worries were unfounded though, because not only did the wood not dent, it didn't even have a scratch. This...what kind of impenetrable wood is this!? I want!
