32 Sandstone Tower

"d.a.m.n it... let's just try to kill one first." Xiao Yang stop and turned around to face the scorpion that was just ten-meters away from them.

Xiao Yang held his sword with both of his hands, then with his Wind elemental power, he charged up its energy around the bade. When it was fully charged up he violently slashed it three times toward the direction of the scorpion, creating three sword breaths.

u003cMana: 150/300u003e

All three sword breaths. .h.i.t the exact same spot of the scorpion, despite its tough sh.e.l.ls the scorpion still got split into two halves. Gluey purple blood started to gush out of its flesh and the scorpion instantly died without a struggle.

"B-Cla.s.s Wind Desert-Scorpion Killed. Elemental Core Available."

Fang Qiong instantly recognized Xiao Yang's 'Wind Breath' technique that he showcased back when they were practising in the academy. She was shocked by the power of the technique, Xiao Yang once told her that it was a B-Cla.s.s technique but from what she just saw, the technique could have been counted as a top-level Cla.s.s.

The other scorpion who was busy chasing Dong Zhou and Qian Fei suddenly stopped after noticing that its companion was brutally slain by Xiao Yang.

The scorpion became infuriated and so it started to charge towards Xiao Yang with its razor-sharp tail.

As it got closer, Xiao Yang has drawn his sword and readied his elemental power, but suddenly a strong wild wind appeared around the scorpion. The wind picked up all of the sands into the air around them, covering their views, they were unable to see where the scorpion was and under the constant cry of the storm, they were unable to hear any footsteps either. The two were now trapped in an endless sand storm.

The opponent is B-Cla.s.s so Xiao Yang's own Wind Element was unable to counter-attack it. Dong Zhou and Qian Fei were unable to see anything nor could they charge into the storm to help their friend.

Fang Qiong held raised her sword, unable to decipher anything behind the powerful thick sand storm. Despite their suppressing situation, both of them didn't lose hope and stood firmly with their swords.

Suddenly a dark shadow of a razor-sharp tail emerged out of the sand storm at an incredible pace, it was headed straight for Qian Fang's chest. It was too late for her to dodge.

-Ding!

In a blink of an eye, Xiao Yang gathered as much strength as he can to deflect the attack. Luckily it worked, but the scorpion was unharmed and it was able to instantly disappeared into the storm, out of their sight.

"Stay close to me!" Xiao Yang shouted in the middle of the loud storm.

Qian Fei nodded in agreement, she was shocked once again by Xiao Yang's quick reaction and speed.

The truth was, Xiao Yang had his Divine Eyes to help him track the elemental energy being emitted by the creature. Otherwise, even with his quick reaction, there would have been no way for him to catch up with the attack with his current speed.

'd.a.m.n it!' Even though he is able to track the scorpion's location, his' Wind Breath' would not work in the storm as the creature is a higher cla.s.s Wind Elemental wielder. All he could do now is stay alive until the creature runs out of mana.

-Ding!...Ding!...Ding!

The scorpion continued to sneak attack but it was always discovered by Xiao Yang and get deflected away. The scorpion soon started to get drained out of energy, so it increased the speed of the attack, but that was still not enough and the attacks still got deflected away.

After witnessing it for a while, Qian Fei was able to tell that Xiao Yang started moving before the scorpion's even emerged out of the storm. It was an incredible sight to see, it was as if Xiao Yang was able to see the future.

Dong Zhou and Qian Fei were incredibly worried by now, it been about half an hour, they are still unable to see or hear anything, but then the wind suddenly got weaker and the sand storm became clearer.

Eventually, the scorpion had completely drained away it's mana and was forced to stop the sand storm. Seeing that Xiao Yang and Fang Qiong was unscathed, the scorpion turned around and started running back toward the tower.

"Trying to run? No chance!" Xiao Yang jumped high up into the sky then with his sword in hands, he slashed it down toward the direction of the scorpion. A huge sword breath came down upon the scorpion's back, the sh.e.l.l cracked upon impact and eventually, its whole body got split into two halves.

"B-Cla.s.s Wind Desert-Scorpion Killed. Elemental Weapon Available"

After that the body of the scorpion was suddenly lit up in purple flame and eventually turned into ash, the ash started to condense into the shape of a golden ring with a purple crystal embedded on it.

"B-Cla.s.s Wind Desert-Scorpion Spear Received"

Xiao Yang quickly grabbed the ring and quickly summoned the weapon, a golden spear with a purple spearhead suddenly appeared in Xiao Yang's hand.

The spearhead was covered in ManDraining poison, once the opponent is wounded by the spear, its mana will quickly start to get drained away.

Even though the spear was a B-Cla.s.s weapon, Xiao Yang's C-Cla.s.s King Tier Killer-Wolf blade wouldn't be considered inferior to it either. Xiao Yang preferred to use a sword as it's more compatible with his current elemental power, so he quickly transferred the owners.h.i.+p to Fang Qiong, "Here, I believe you still don't have an elemental weapon yet."

"Owners.h.i.+p Transferred Successfully"

Fang Qiong eyes widened, she was unable to believe what she just heard, "Xiao Yang, you do realise that a B-Cla.s.s weapon is worth a couple of B-Cla.s.s elemental coins right?"

"Of course I do." Xiao Yang said with a serious tone then continued by saying, "If I were to sell it, the pavilion would earn most of the profit, I would rather gift it to a friend than let a stranger scam me."

Xiao Yang didn't think twice when giving it away, in his previous life, he had casually given away many powerful SSS-Cla.s.s weapons so let alone a B-Cla.s.s would make his heart sore.
