The stones are extracted from those portals that people called 'Undead Portal', this is because the entire place is guarded by beast souls.

Beast souls have a transparent-like ability that allows them to go through objects such as walls or swords, making them a natural-born a.s.sa.s.sin.

The only way to kill them is when they transform back into a physical state during their attempts to attack their opponents. Once they are killed, their entire body crumbles into stones of various sizes and shapes and there is a chance that one of them has an elemental core inside of them. So many would choose to sell them as gambling stones to maximize their profit.

All of the stones from the beast soul has a marking on it to indicate that they are authentic soul stones. and shows the element they a.s.sociate with, but it won't tell you whether there is an elemental core inside or not. Only after smas.h.i.+ng it will you then be able to find out.

Xiao Yang was confident that he will be able to gain a profitable stone, not because he is confident in his luck but ever since he received the Celestial Divine Body, he noticed that he had also gained a couple of abilities. One of such is a pa.s.sive ability that allows him to detect the elemental auras of humans, beasts, objects that contain elemental powers.

While using his Divine Eyes, Xiao Yang was able to accurately read the powers of all the mages on the same floor. The majority of them are D-Cla.s.s mages like Xiao Yang, there's also quite a lot of higher ranking mages, the highest was at B-Cla.s.s.

On the tables, there were many different types of soul stones, they came in different shapes and sizes. With the Divine Eyes, Xiao Yang was able to tell that majority of the rocks are empty and only a few actually have an aura on them.

Xiao Yang was able to tell what cla.s.s those soul stones are based on the aura they emitted out. After scanning for a while, he settled down on buying a soul stone that was no bigger than a pocket-sized chest.

Many people who saw it thought that buying a stone that size would have been too risky, the size of the stone could barely even fit an elemental core inside. Despite it being the cheapest Water Element Soul stones with a price of only one C-Cla.s.s Elemental Coin, many would still opt-in for a bigger stone that costs at least triple the price.

"I'll just pick this one" Xiao Yang pointed at the soul stone.

There was a muscular man next to it and he was holding a gigantic hammer, Xiao Yang could easily tell that the hammer was an Cla.s.s elemental weapon.

Once the stone was laid neatly onto the board, with both of his hand the man lifted the hammer high into the air before slamming back down.

'Boom'

The outer layer of the soul stones began to crumble into specks of dust, revealing a smooth blue crystal. The blue crystal was glowing slightly, and the surface looked as if it was the entire sea itself trapped inside a pocket-sized crystal.

Everyone looked towards the crystal with jealousy, the employee who sold the stone to Xiao Yang was even so. The elemental core that Xiao Yang had just received was an Cla.s.s Water elemental core, if Qian Xian was to absorb it then she has a chance to receive 0-100 C-Cla.s.s elemental points.

Seeing the employee unmoving, Xiao Yang grabbed the elemental core himself and brushed off the remaining dust.

Xiao Yang wanted to leave the pavilion with his mum since he is already satisfied with what he has received, there weren't any profitable soul stones left anyway.

However, before they could make their way down the stairs, two people were blocking their path.

It was a young man wearing a luxurious golden-coloured garment and holding an expensive-looking looking hand-fan, it even has the emperor seal on it. He seems to be deliberately showing off his hand-fan.

Next to the man was a beautiful woman, she holding the man's arm tightly.
