Chapter 843: People From the Military District

Not long after Chi Shuyan placed the two corpses in the trunk of the car, she saw Wei Ting and Wei Man return.

Wei Ting nodded at Chi Shuyan and heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that she was fine. Chi Shuyan pointed at the trunk to indicate that the two corpses were inside.

She actually wanted to put them in some corner at first, but there were people everywhere. Afraid of scaring them, she had to put the two corpses in the trunk.

Wei Ting nodded. Its fine!

Wei Man was more curious about how Sister Shuyan had brought out the corpses.

Chi Shuyan said she had dragged them out with the whip. The corners of Wei Mans mouth twitched. To be honest, he had never seen such a bold and powerful young lady.

Wei Man suddenly thought of that rope which had lengthened magically. He felt that he must have been mistaken. How could the whip grow on its own?

But he then looked at Sister Shuyans empty hands. He had no idea how the rope had appeared out of nowhere. He also thought of how the other party had suddenly and nimbly broken the necks of those two people.

Wei Man couldnt help but ask curiously, Sister Shuyan, do you practice martial arts or something else? And what about your whip?

Chi Shuyan took it out of her pocket and showed it to him.

Wei Man took it for a look. It was indeed very long. He pulled on it a few times, but it didnt stretch out. He must have been mistaken just now.

Chi Shuyan stared at Third Brother Weis actions, and her lips curved up, a smile in her eyes.

Wei Ting went to the trunk to take a look at the two corpses, but his ears p.r.i.c.ked up as he listened to his younger brother and Sister Shuyans conversation.

Wait! Chi Shuyans sharp eyes spotted a few staff members not far away and she strode over. Those staff members were still thinking about how she had dragged the two corpses out, and they subconsciously ran away in fear.

But one of the bolder ones, who didnt know what was going on, stood there blankly as Chi Shuyan approached. Chi Shuyan took out a talisman and handed it over. A staff member was bitten just now. Give this talisman to her family or friends and have them soak it in water for her to drink! It can cure corpse poison!

Chi Shuyan didnt care whether or not the person was truly brave or scared. After confirming that the person had taken the talisman, she turned around and left.

Wei Ting and Wei Man also saw Chi Shuyan hand the talisman over. Wei Man recalled that Shuyan seemed to have taken out a few yellow paper talismans and thrown them at the two inhuman things, but they seemed useless!

Wei Man originally wanted to ask his brother if it was the end of the world, but when he saw that Uncle Chis daughter had yellow paper talismans on her, he looked at his brother in dismay and didnt know what to say!

He felt that Uncle Chis daughter had probably been tricked by some swindler into buying these talismans.

At that moment, Chi Shuyan walked over, took out a few more talismans from her pocket, and handed some to each of them. Brother Wei, Third Brother Wei, do you want them?

The talismans she had thrown just now hadnt had any effect on the two people who were infected. Chi Shuyan suspected that for one thing, they were indeed human, and on top of that, the talismans she had taken out were too low-level.

These intermediate and high-level Exorcism Talismans should be more useful!

The corners of Wei Mans mouth twitched. He subconsciously felt that Uncle Chis daughter was somewhat capable, but he wanted to refuse these talismans which she had probably been duped into buying. Seeing his brother take them, however, he could only do the same.

Compared with Wei Tings calm, Wei Man was now wondering if the world was ending.

Before Wei Man could dwell on it, military cars arrived not long after. There were many of them, and they arrived especially quickly, led by his father and Uncle Chi.

Wei Man called out first, Dad! Uncle Chi!
