Chapter 394 – Malicious Intentions

Chi Shuyan rolled her eyes. Did this woman really think she was stupid? Although she didn't know much about stone gambling, that didn't mean she would believe whatever she said.

Chi Shuyan was about to refuse, when her eyes suddenly fell on the acc.u.mulation of wealth on the woman's forehead. That golden circle on her forehead represented money; the brighter it was, the richer she was.

Not only was there a golden circle on the forehead of the woman in front of her, it also glowed with a bright red light which wasn't like the strange red light of cadaveric qi.

Chi Shuyan vaguely felt that this bright red light held an extraordinary meaning.

It was just that when the other party threw down the black stone, the acc.u.mulation of wealth on her forehead quickly turned into a funnel, and the golden vapor swiftly flowed away along with the bright red light.

Chi Shuyan subconsciously picked up the black stone. No matter how she looked at it, it didn't look like a raw jade stone. She channeled her spiritual energy, and an unprecedentedly dense vapor seeped into her palm, even causing it to vibrate slightly.

Chi Shuyan's left eyelid twitched. Although she didn't know what to think, she had the vague feeling that this was definitely good stuff, and very, very extraordinarily good stuff to boot.

As she continued picking raw stones, Chi Shuyan didn't put down the black stone.

Not far away, Yang Zhaoyuan, who had been gloating and staring at her, spat out, “Idiot.”

Chi Shuyan narrowed her eyes and curled her lip. Seeing Yang Zhaoning's wealth draining away put her in a particularly good mood, and she directly ignored the insult.

At that moment, Chi Shuyan was almost done choosing the raw stones, and she quickly had the shop a.s.sistant help pick them up.

When she was about to go and get the stones cut, she walked over to Qi Hao, who had picked a h.e.l.l of a lot of raw stones. As she swept her gaze over her surroundings, she saw that this guy's number was all over the place, and realized that these stones were just a few of them.

Also, the raw stones which this kid had picked were several yards long and weighed several kilograms.

Chi Shuyan very much suspected that this kid just picked all the big ones.

Chi Shuyan's right eyelid twitched when she saw how this kid worked. Qi Hao saw his sister-in-law and said confidently and proudly, “Sister-in-law, look, I picked these. I guarantee that most of them have jade!”

Without batting an eyelid, Chi Shuyan placed her hand on one of the raw stones which the kid had picked and channeled her spiritual energy, but there was no reaction for a long time. Chi Shuyan refused to believe it, and checked the stones which this kid had picked one by one. However, no matter how long or how many she touched, there was no movement at all.

The corners of Chi Shuyan's mouth twitched, and she heard the kid in front of her continue, “Sister-in-law, let's buy everything I picked! They're definitely winners!”

Chi Shuyan calculated the total amount of what this kid had picked out, and she almost cursed out loud. The most important thing was that this kid was unlucky, and had still picked out so many stones and confidently told her that most of them would have jade. Chi Shuyan's head throbbed painfully as she listened to the kid brainwash her.

Chi Shuyan didn't believe it, and went to touch the high-grade stones one by one. She felt that no matter how bad this kid's luck was, he had chosen so many high-grade stones – there had to be at least one that would feel like it might contain jade!

It was a pity that after touching more than a dozen for this kid, she only felt one or two extremely weak fluctuations.

Was this kid's luck really that bad?

Chi Shuyan saw the kid tell the shop a.s.sistant that he wanted everything that he had picked, and was even promoting them to the person next to him. She walked over, and Qi Hao, this kid, put a raw stone in front of the man and was still promoting it. “Really, buy this piece. I promise it'll have jade.”
