After all, Bai Qingyan was poor and Gu Yezhi was rich. Their social statuses were too different, how could they be related? Ji Sijie couldn't even imagine Bai Qingyan was, in fact, Mrs. Gu.

Ji Sijie trembled, her face pale as a ghost. Her mouth hung open and her eyes were wide open due to shock. She was truly frightened.

Gu Yezhi was delighted by his wife's actions. She had embraced him! He felt a little happy. He knew that her affection for him just now was real. She trusted him. Looking at Bai Qingyan's small figure, his indifferent gaze couldn't help but soften.

This dainty and delicate woman knew how to rely on his influence.

He waited until Bai Qingyan entered the restaurant before he allowed his eyes to become cold again. With long strides, he made his way toward Ji Sijie, each step graceful and smooth.

However, Ji Sijie felt that Gu Yezhi's every step was like he was stepping on her heart. She was so scared her body couldn't stop shaking.

“It's you!!”

The man's handsome face held an impatient look. Lifting his hand, he took a drag from his cigarette and breathed out a perfect ring of smoke. Gu Yezhi's movements were so graceful and charming, they could stir up the public sentiment with false statements.

Ji Sijie was terrified.

“I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, President Gu! I was wrong! I didn't know Miss Bai was your woman! I'm sorry, Mr. Gu… I was wrong…” Her fear was so great her body shook, some tears falling from her eyes. 

She knelt on the ground and crawled toward Gu Yezhi. When she got one meter away from him, Xue Ying kicked her backward.

That kick did not dissuade Ji Sijie. She quickly knelt again and begged. “AH… Mr. Gu, I'm sorry… I was wrong… I was really wrong…” She was truly afraid of that man!

The male waiter that had helped a while ago was anxious. His legs kept trembling and he was afraid he'd be next.

Oh no, I'm dead! I've really provoked a big shot!

Who'd have thought the woman was so arrogant because she had a strong supporter? He wished he could cut the hand that had accepted that tip!

He looked at the woman who gave him that tip. Before she acted so arrogantly but now she bowed in fear of this rich guy!

“Plop!”

In a flash, he knelt down. He was just a waiter. He didn't want to lose his life!

“I'm sorry, sir! It's all because of this lady! She gave me money so I'd stop the two guests just now from entering!”

Gu Yezhi stared at Ji Sijie's tearful face. He took another pull from his cigarette and breathed out slowly, the fog blurring his handsome face. 

The next moment he threw the cigarette at Ji Sijie's eyes, his voice as cold as the Arctic. “Even my woman you dare to bully! Who gave you the courage?!”

He doted on her gradually and yet someone dared to bully her!

“ARRGH-!” Ji Sijie quickly covered her eyes and the cigarette b.u.t.t ended up burning the back of her hand. There was immediate scarring and the smell of burnt flesh filled the air. Her fingers twitched with the pain.

She kowtowed on the ground. “I'm sorry Mr. Gu! I'm sorry! I'm wrong… I'm wrong…”

Ji Sijie's bodyguards and a.s.sistants all fell to their knees in terror. If that man could do that to their lady, what would he do to them?

“Please forgive us, Mr. Gu!”

“We're sorry! We have eyes, but we failed to see Mount Tai! We're sorry!”

They started slapping themselves to avoid having Gu Yezhi do it. The male waiter even peed himself where he was kneeling.

“Xue Ying.” Gu Yezhi's cold eyes swept through the people kneeling in front of him, glancing at the waiter who wet his pants in disgust.

“Yes, sir.” Xue Ying nodded.

“Clear everything!”
