Strongly Opposed (I)

Bai Qingyan was startled. She looked at the handsome face of the man in the darkness and exclaimed: “Ye Zhi!”

“Shut up!” His voice was piercing to ears.

Bai Qingyan originally had a lot of things to say. But when he roared, all the words got stuck in her throat.

She wanted to ask him why he was so gentle and loving in her previous life yet so indifferent in this life.

In the dark, Bai Qingyan’s red lips hung open for a long time.

“Nevermind.” She muttered.

She tried to sit up, but out of nowhere Gu Yezhi pressed on her from above. Before Bai Qingyan could say something, Gu Yezhi kissed her, and felt his cool breath breeze against her face.

“Uhmm…”

Bai Qingyan endured his fierce kiss, tears welled from her eyes and coursed down her cheeks. She was no stranger to his hot kisses, thus it made her heart ache. She remembered Gu Yezhi’s sad and desperate kiss before her death…

A kiss that reeked of blood…

Her tears wouldn’t stop.

Gu Yezhi noticed her reaction and moved his lips down her cheek, kissed away her tears while he whispered her name: “Yan Yan…” Although his voice was hoa.r.s.e, only he understood the agony hidden within it.

Why did he love her?

Gu Yezhi’s heart suffered. His kiss moved down a little and left a bruise-like mark on her body. He whispered: “Yan Yan…”

She is his wife!

His legitimate wife!

Qin Wei’s appearance was restless and disheveled. Her forehead plastered with gauze, aided by Qin Xiaomeng.

“Speak, what the h.e.l.l do you want to tell me?”

Qin Xiaomeng clenched her hands and gritted her teeth. “Aunt, you have beaten and scolded me, isn’t it time to cool off? Please, let me out.”

Qin Xiaomeng didn’t wake up until she arrived at the detention center. What has she missed? Everything she did was in accordance to Gu Hang’s instructions. The mistake was that Gu Hang had overestimated Bai Qingyan’s feelings for him.

He narcissistically thought that Bai Qingyan would lay down her life to save him, but she didn’t.

She b.u.mped Gu Hang’s body. Even if they had planned that far ahead, they should have taken into consideration Bai Qingyan’s actions.

Hearing her pleas, Qin Wei’s eyes burned with anger and she snorted as if it was some kind of a joke. “Qin Xiaomeng! Do you have s.h.i.+t in your head? Why should I let you out? You deliberately murdered Gu Hang…”

“Aunt! I can help you get everything Gu Yezhi has!” Qin Xiaomeng interrupted Qin Wei instantly and narrowed her eyes. “If I fail again, I’ll let Gu Yezhi return to T State and all the Gu Family’s properties will belong to cousin!”

“Are you able to do that?” ‘Qin wei raised her eyebrows, she was highly interested to take over Gu Yezhi’s business

“Of course, the other day Gu Yezhi and me were the only ones in the room. It was Bai Qingyan’s fault, she rushed inside…….” Speaking of which, Qin Xiaomeng’s eyes dimmed,  then shone again with unwillingness.

She added: “Brother-in-law likes me, I can definitely win him over! Auntie, let me out! I won’t let you down!” Qin Xiaomeng’s eyes ignited with hope.

She, Qin Xiaomeng, was the only woman worthy of Gu Yezhi! Bai Qingyan should die!

Qin Wei stared at Qin Xiaomeng for a long time. She knew that Gu Yezhi loved Bai Qingyan dearly. She knew that Qin Xiaomeng has no chance.

She stood up, held out her hand and patted Qin Xiaomeng’s face.

“Stop daydreaming! Everyone knows that Gu Yezhi is deeply in love with Bai Qingyan. Your trick is useless. Stay here in jail.”
