She was thrown out and the person she had bribed to take her side was threatened and left quickly. In fact, now that she was slapped in front of everyone she could see the satisfaction on their faces and feel the searing cold gazes pointed at her.

"Why... why are you taking that girl's side! You all saw how from the first day she didn't like me! Perhaps she didn't say anything but Qiu Yue clearly didn't like me. Yao Yan snapped at Bao FeiYin but Zhou Jia rugged on her hand. Cursing was perfectly fine but right now was the time to plot and pretend. Well, to some extent.

"So what? They didn't meet each other for years and if Qiu Yue hadn't taken a leave to work here chances are they never would. Qiu Yue had no physical evidence that I bombed the office! Even then she kicked me out!"

"The reports I wrote also could sell for a lot but here they were given no importance."

"If you think they're so good try selling them after this. Because there is someone more skilled with us, obviously we would use those ideas."

This time Liu Hui's a.s.sistant spoke up. Liu Hui obviously wasn't outside but this a.s.sistant has also gone through a lot as many times Liu Hui would have her refuse Bao FeiYin.

Bao FeiYin glared murderously at the a.s.sistant.

"Physical evidence... you were standing near the bomb but right out of its blast radius. What are you, some kind of psychic? Anyways other than that we have enough implicating you but Qiu Yue truly didn't want to release it, but with your despicable actions you forced our hands."

Yao Yan truly meant what she said, Qiu Yue could have fabricated evidence that Bao FeiYin had been planning a bombing even before it took place just to kick her out but she hadn't. She hadn't believed that Bao FeiYin would do such a thing. But after something like that had happened Yao Yan and the others were no longer bothered about the little good in Bao FeiYin. Qiu Yue also stopped trying seeing Meng Hui get hurt in her place.

"There are clearly photos that Qiu Yue made me meet her and threatened me!"

Yao Yan snorted in anger.

"If you're so innocent why did you take pictures? Luckily we have security camera footage of what she actually said to you, and that you even slapped her! People saw her crying when she left. Yet she never mentioned this to anyone."

A lot of coworkers of theirs were surprised. They hadn't known yet because the article proving Qiu Yue's innocence had been exclusively released just a few minutes ago.

Hearing this their resentment towards Bao FeiYin increased

"Why did you even think anyone of them would like you? You joined this place by asking Qiu Yue's cousin. Everyone else here has been chosen to be the best of the best. There's no denying you have some ability but instead of accepting that Qiu Yue's plan was better than yours and working on something else, it's as though you believe everything has to be yours!"

Zhou Jia said vexedly. Perhaps if Bao FeiYin hadn't resorted to such extreme measures and been so ruthless with someone's life, some people could still, maybe not forgive, but ignore her and move on. After all, the fact that Qiu Yue and Huo Zi Feng's relations.h.i.+p has only been in name had been true. If Bao FeiYin wanted to three time, that was a problem with her morals, but not something others had to care about.

The expectations that Bao FeiYin had for her work at Aries were in fact not exaggerated. If Qiu Yue hadn't been there, Huo Zi Feng might've been charmed by her. Her work would have been recognized and people here would've accepted her. Seeing this to be untrue, she had lashed out. That too wasn't abnormal. If it had been someone else then perhaps Bao FeiYin's dream would've come true, but unfortunately for her, she had gone up against Qiu Yue.

Whether she was unlucky or lucky couldn't be said yet. But if it had been some other person who had transmigrated, Bao FeiYin's fate, from the beginning, might've been sealed.

Yao Yan didn't want to let her (BFY) so easily. But Qiu Yue had told her that for Bao FeiYin, losing her male leads and reputation in the society would hurt more than anything else.

One could argue that she would hook other guys up but would it make such a big difference? These men had been male leads because they were top of the cream and only relying on them had Bao FeiYin been able to reach those heights while maintaining her white lotus image.

Furthermore, if she did try something, Yuan ZeXi and Huo Zi Feng's prowess was not just for show.

Qiu Yue didn't want to take or destroy a life with the ease Bao FeiYin decided to. Regardless she wouldn't let her guard down. Because of her sparing Bao FeiYin this time, she had no intentions of letting others get hurt.

Of course, there was also the fact that she wanted to take away the last remaining male lead too. Never leave anything half done right?

I just got scolded by a reader and I'm so so sorry. I know I said shorter and faster updates, and honestly I'm trying!

I read so many novels so I hate no updates or going back on promises ???

But uni life and work and writing realllllly aren't meant to be done together with my brains...

I've ditched social life but even just partic.i.p.ating in activities and doing my bit means staying in uni from 7 am to 5:30 pm, and winter means falling sick like crazy T_T

Today I took a day off because I fell sick and just couldn't go... which with my compulsory 95% attendance....

Anyway! Enough with my whining ???

I didn't post this week so expect a triple post. Also when your editor wakes up she'll edit this and the previous chapter too.
